She was not only the greatest comedian, she was a truly great thoughtful, caring human being. She is the only star in my 50 years of living/working in Hollywood, that I have heard so many stories about from others who knew or worked with her talking about her incredible kindnesses and thoughtfulness towards others.

She was very personable & kind but remember we are people and maybe they caught her on a bad day. She often went to Aspen skiing and it was reported she was curt and rude, might have been a bad day. She was a perfectionist and yes they can be intense.

I really like the host. He was very respectful towards Lucille. I have been reading a lot of articles during the 80s of people bashing Lucy. I don't understand why those people went after her they way they did in the 80s. I have seen articles from the Los AngelesTimes bashing her and other critics. She is a legend. You don't disrespect legends.💯

She became a figure of conservative values, if not politically, then socially, when that was not "cool."

Especially Lucille Ball. She's more than a legend. She is a true icon on many fronts.
Because of her iconic show I Love Lucy she set the bar so high it is unreachable.
The entire tv 📺 industry will always be in her debit.
Thank you Ms. Ball for everything ❤❤❤

Still gorgeous - look how GORGEOUS her hands are - even going into her 70s. Intelligent, honest and direct in her speech - what a wonderful expereince to simply listen to her.

Actually, her voice was low and somewhat raspy - even when she played Lucy on tv her voice was high pitched.

I have fair skin and wear a little makeup. However, I put some lotion on and then the bit of blush turns out red. I don't realize, but it is similar to how Lucy's cheeks look here. I am always surprised when someone takes a picture of me - red cheeks all right
