Those isolated tracks aren't even close to the original sound. You play according to the equipment you're playing. RR's equipment kicks your arse but modern equipment is really easy to play

That’s such a sick ass riff and solo. Gives me chills. It was a tragedy what happened to randy. I watched to documentary on randy that whole plane crash incident was so sad.. he didn’t even want to be on that plane.. the whole band is lucky they didn’t all die. So sad
holy shit. this is fucking amazing playing. Dude. you destroyed that solo. that was actually better than randy. subscribed. Thanks for the shred. totally inspired to play now.
Randy got on the plane to get pictures for his mother. The pilot was high on cocaine and doing stunts. Randy died trying to stop him from acting crazy.
Your foot pounding to the beat and the effect it had on the video made it interesting. I'm guessing you weren't trying to play it note for note or anywhere close.
@@markd3641 You are quite incorrect, sir. In 1979, when Randy asked George Sandoval to build him the now legendary polka-dot Flying V, he specifically asked for a Fender whammy bar to be installed. There are many pics of Randy holding and playing it. The Grover Jackson white Flying V also had a whammy Bar. These were two of the 3 primary guitars that Randy used to record Blizzard of Oz and Diary of a Madman. Randy's solo on "Over the Mountain" uses the whammy for the ending run.
@@blaineedwards8078 Mr Edwards on the contrary! He might have had whammy bars on maybe two of his guitars but barely used them. He didn't want to sound like EVH who was using that a lot at the time. So he would bend his strings behind the nut and bend his low strings a lot to achieve his sound. Plus he used a Gibson a lot while touring which didn't have a whammy bar so you are wrong ! Please do some research before you write these things!
@@markd3641 I did do research and everything you just wrote is patently false. You're the one who needs to look this stuff up. I can reference the article in Guitar Player magazine that supports the facts. You're just making shit up.
Love how the camera has a little shake to it from the volume in the room. You absolutely crush it on this cover. Fantastic work!
Pretty sure that's from him "tapping" his foot on the floor.
2:30 Solo
Awesome job on the solo and on the whole cover
This video deserves more views!
Brilliant...⚡great job on a great song 🔥💥🔥🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸👍✌️😎
Absolutely mind blowing. Thank you for sharing
After hearing Randy's isolated tracks, I'd say your attack and articulation of the rhythm parts is sharper and more defined. Good job!
Thanks, man!

I think Randy had lots of effects also 🎼🤘🏻
Bruno! Great, great cover ! Love everything about it ! Bonus points for going "tremolo arm-less" . Killer tone too, wow!
Ha ha. My thoughts exactly. Great playing.
Kicking Ass Bruno!! Recording this tune now, just wanted to check before I pulled the trigger
Awesome mate really neat
Wowza…
👍 Good improv on the whammy bar parts. Nice.
YOU are the GUITAR MAN

Wrong.
Don't hang around with junkies.
It's that simple.
I like this vertion... Super
So thats how you play it without tremolo.. Very cool! Thanks.
Great job
Excellent cover !
AMAZING!
Nice job!
Awesome job!
great song and great album, I really enjoyed it, Randy lives \m/
FUCK YES Nice job Bruno !!!!!
F&ck yeah you killed this
Interesting way to play the sole without a bar. Sounds good
0:53 That’s cool
Good!!!!
It's a gem. Nice work without a vibrado bar too.
Isn’t that how randy played it? Cause I don’t think he had a whammy bar either
@@itzrob8740 he had one on his polka dot v
@@Beadlayer69 ah okay i didn’t know

I’m late to the show, but cheers🎼🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Bravo! Superb 🙏🙏🤘🤘
Nothing to see here.. just a natural guitarist in his habitat
That guitar deserves a snakeskin strap!
Shaky camera from the foot stomps nearly gave me a headache. But anyways, love the note precision and improv during the main solo! 🤘
Excellent cover, nice to see someone murder the solo without a bar. Is that a Burny Les Paul copy? The lower horn isn't rounded like a Gibson
Thanks! It's a FGN Neo Classic from Japan, great Guitar.
@@BrunoSpring Nice, I just got an Edwards Les Paul copy and it looks similar. Can't beat the japan guitars for the money!
Need a tremolo bar for the solo!
No.

Can you do some Jazz thing?

Красава мужик!!!
Bro nice job, can you help me find the exact guitar tab?❤
Is this song downtuned?
Yes, one half step.
@BrunoSpring ah I see. Thank you, man. I've been trying to learn this song recently.
Great song, really good played. It was said that Randy overdubbed his solo three times……to make it sound better!
Play Damn hot chick!!!
And then they try to convince people that Rhoads is dead. Ha.
Randy would be proud
nope, without the Tremelo, even with your accuracy and ability, its just not the same solo. Other than that spot on.
Camera tricks on the solo ruined the experience...
Wrong
Sorry, but without a tremolo, the solo is crap. That's why God invented the whammy bar. Nice try, though.
Randy didn’t use a whammy bar that’s why he was a master of the tremolo ! Little bit more chorus

If Randy was Alive today he would approve this solo. This guy put his own twist on it. Randy also never played his solos the same way.
