This is now my new favourite video Anthony's done, not just because it's Scarlxrd, but because of all the deep and truthful messages that I took away from this. Absolutely amazing
The most insane interview yet. Scarlxrd been one of my biggest inspirations to be myself and step out my comfort zone. Man seems fearless in everything he creates.
When Anthony talked about his panic attacks when he was sleeping and waking up and it feeling like he was watching someone else have the panic attack, it made me feel so seen. I spent most of my teens and early twenties going through that, and I've never heard anyone else talk about that before. I didn't know they were panic attacks at the time either, and the lack of control and awareness of how this was happening to me really messed me up. I'm much better now, and him saying that he seeks it out now is exactly how I got free from that cycle.
I remember the good old days of coming home from school & watching some MazziMazVlogs, ahhh such good days. All grown up now, and scarlxrd still saving my ass with his very emotion filled music & letting me scream my emotions out trough the music :D
I used to not understand the screaming music but during one of the darkest times of my life, it was hard metal that helped me move through and on. Like you said, if you could take a step back and be open for a different perspective, you might not like it, but you'll understand. Much love for both ❤❤
Thank you both so much for talking about the fear of failure, because I’ve resonated with having that fear of failure for most of my life. It’s relieving to see people carry on and do what they love even in the face of that discouragement. It makes me think I could do the same thing lol.
So happy I came across this! I have a few songs I love in my playlist so it’s lovely to see his personality. Such an enlightening, fun conversation to witness. Well needed support on my journey, thank you both.
Dude this video helped me out so so much dude, like these words don’t even give a justice to how much it helped. It got me to change my mindset to think more positively and how to deal with certain shit I’m currently dealing with. When scar was talking about the mind and how everything works, when I actually took a step back to think about what I was think that when I realized he was right, and that kind of thinking worked for me. I’m ever so grateful for this video and you and scar are so inspiring to hear. I know some people reading this comment won’t understand, until they start to see it the way I do, but that’s fine, everyone takes a different amount of time to change their mindset, and maybe this kind of mindset isn’t for you, and that fine. But it’s very good to give it a chance, because who knows, it might be better than you think, thank you to whoever read all this, I hope you have a blessed and happy life, and live better than you ever have before!
i really enjoyed this episode, and i think scarlxrd in personal is the kind of the guy that you will enjoy in his company, and you will get some perks of him and from his mindset, i really wished it was longer than that, btw the new album gonna be lit i loved when he stood up and started moving and rapping thanks anthony for this one

Watching mazzi maz, to scarlxrd, and then hearing him put this all into his perspective, i get it more now than i did ever before. Been a fan since day 1. Love your talent and your take on everything scar. Wish you nothing but success 🖤
I met scarlxrd in person in Glasgow, I travelled to meet him as he's my idol and he Is exactly how he is on and off camera so nice and friendly, great interview 💙
I used to watch maz religiously and as happy as he seemed then this version of him is clearly so much happier. it's so genuine and I'm so sooooo proud to see him living his absolute best life.
I remember watching an interview with him years ago and he came accross very immature and pretentious, but seeing him talk about his life and his work now it's like a completely different person. He has matured and evolved so much it's great to see. Also the new tracks sound mad crazy
as a spanish person this was the ultimate listening exercise 😭 but i love this man and his music, he looks so tough but then he’s such a nice person anthony’s fanboy moment at the beginning i felt that lmao
I just wanna say scarlxrld's music is crazy, i LOVE it. I am not even into a similar type of music but HIS music is on fire. It gives me so much energy and the amount of joy i feel listening to his work is unbelievable💙

This is my first time even hearing of this dude so I'm unfamiliar with his work, but hot damn, I gotta say he has a wonderful way of looking at motivation and life. Some fantastic advice.
It's the fact that the his vibe is still so lit, I used to watch his youtube too. honestly what he's said is so true, the value is within, no matter the artform or outlet ❤🔥
Holy shit, what beautiful energy and confidence. And the music is sick too. I've only listened to a few of his songs, but I think I'm in love now. I hope he keeps making music and living his best life 💛
omg I've loved him since I was 12 and he was Mazzi Maz and then when he was in the band Myth City. I still listen to their old stuff. It's so wonderful to see he's still doing well. So proud of Scarlxrd.
This was ODEE relatable. Started on vine and reinvented my self on musically, then again on tiktok. Still looking to let go of the past, and tune out the judgement so I can immerse myself into the reality I prefer.
This was such a nice video and I’m so happy I watched it. Seeing the growth of Anthony and Scar AND myself being able to relate to their concluded mindsets. Aw man… Life is truly beautiful sometimes. I hope everyone succeeds in their life and prospers how they choose. I hope everyone finds better happiness and peace. Love everyone 🖤 Thank you Scar and Anthony for coming into my life at different times and for us to all come back after years of separation enjoying each other company
This dude is such an amazing artist and person, i saw him live in 2019 and it was one of the most insane things i ever saw. Such an awesome dude, such an awesome show.
This was such an awesome watch! Chronologically some stuff was definitely left out. I wish Scar would've mentioned Myth City or even his chill rap music before he started screaming. I know that's all backstory and I did love seeing the present thought processes. It's crazy how he is comfortable without the mask. A lot of the older interviews he is wearing the mask as it is a defining symbol of Scarlxrd.
I’ve known scar since “peace love rubber gloves.” At first his music jump confused me but I see hes still the same super chill super funny guy who brought me joy
30:45 is the best thing I've ever seen in an interview. It shows how much scarlxrd loves his work. Pure passion project where he does what he wants to do. Something I don't see with big musicians who just follow their labels orders.
I would describe scarlxrd's style as a mix of ecstacy and anger, I've been listening to hos music for a while though and raw is the only word I think really fits.

cant believe i’ve been listening to this guy since i was 14. so cool to see him get this successful. he deserves it so much.
SAMEEEE, my inner teen is fangirling. from the vlogs to his band to scarlxrd, what a journeyyy ((((:
been a hugeee fan of scar for years- he’s one of my favorite artists i’m so happy you did an interview with him.
I used to not understand the screaming music but during one of the darkest times of my life, it was hard metal that helped me move through and on. Like you said, if you could take a step back and be open for a different perspective, you might not like it, but you'll understand.
Much love for both ❤❤
With music you can usually tell how much heart and soul a person puts into it and with Scarlxrd he really gives it his all.
@@lokundjoside fr, i listened to his older tracks, where he just raps, and it was really good even then
Thank you both so much for talking about the fear of failure, because I’ve resonated with having that fear of failure for most of my life.
It’s relieving to see people carry on and do what they love even in the face of that discouragement. It makes me think I could do the same thing lol.
fucking love scar‘s energy - remember seeing him in a small bar in camden and it was absolutely electric.
I did not expect one of my fav rappers to be interviewed. I'm so glad my notifs did its job let's fucking go!!!
This was the best interview I've ever seen, and I've watched A LOT of interviews! Everything he says is so true.
So happy I came across this! I have a few songs I love in my playlist so it’s lovely to see his personality. Such an enlightening, fun conversation to witness. Well needed support on my journey, thank you both.
i always be so desperate to listen more from him cuz this man is always pushing limit no matter what. its so inspiring.
It’s always so funny to see someone who’s so friendly to have such metal trap music
MADEINHELL GON BE INSANE BRO , ANTHONY honestly thank you for interviewing THE GXAT🐐🖤⛓
But it’s very good to give it a chance, because who knows, it might be better than you think, thank you to whoever read all this, I hope you have a blessed and happy life, and live better than you ever have before!
i really enjoyed this episode, and i think scarlxrd in personal is the kind of the guy that you will enjoy in his company, and you will get some perks of him and from his mindset, i really wished it was longer than that,
btw the new album gonna be lit i loved when he stood up and started moving and rapping
thanks anthony for this one
I had never heard of Scarlxrd before, I'm so glad you introduced me to him, I relate to everything he says, and he's opened my eyes to so many things, he so sweet too(brought you sick t-shirts I cried lol), love you both ♥♥♥
I WAS NOT EXPECTING HIS VOICE TO BE LIKE THAT OMGGGGGG (makes me like him more tbh ngl
I have been waiting so long for this video, I absolutely love scarlxrd's music and his new songs sound incredible. I can't wait to listen to them too ❤️ His outlook on life is everything and it's honestly so inspiring
Watching mazzi maz, to scarlxrd, and then hearing him put this all into his perspective, i get it more now than i did ever before. Been a fan since day 1. Love your talent and your take on everything scar. Wish you nothing but success 🖤
Scarlxrd seems honestly so sweet, his musics so heavy but then he's such a sweetheart
LITERALLY my only perception of this guy comes from being mentioned in passing within the techwear world, so I'm super interested to watch this
I met scarlxrd in person in Glasgow, I travelled to meet him as he's my idol and he Is exactly how he is on and off camera so nice and friendly, great interview 💙
Also the new tracks sound mad crazy
as a spanish person this was the ultimate listening exercise 😭 but i love this man and his music, he looks so tough but then he’s such a nice person
anthony’s fanboy moment at the beginning i felt that lmao
i fucking love his fashion that's what i wanna be when i grow up holy shit
Bro looks like a fucking bookbag
scar gotta be top 5 most drippiest mfs in the music industry
@@heyolorennsfr
His clothing brand is sick too
Whats the name
I love how corpse is mentioned in all ur vids 🖤🖤
I just wanna say scarlxrld's music is crazy, i LOVE it. I am not even into a similar type of music but HIS music is on fire. It gives me so much energy and the amount of joy i feel listening to his work is unbelievable💙
this was one of the most inspirational interviews i've ever seen. Dopeness in true form! Maz is a genius and such a brilliant thinker. He speaks for a generation of people that are relentless on their passions to be fullfilled. Thank you guys for this 12:00 some gems dropped here!
This is such a cool episode. Never heard of this guy in my life, but I found an artist to add to a workout playlist! My expectations were so low but; as always, Anthony's videos have something about them. So rad 😄🤙🏻
This is my first time even hearing of this dude so I'm unfamiliar with his work, but hot damn, I gotta say he has a wonderful way of looking at motivation and life. Some fantastic advice.
I never thought I'd see this interveiw happen. Ahhhh, im so happy
This is just what I needed. Scarlxrd you never get old cause as you know, you're always moving forward. Keep it real dude
I hope he keeps making music and living his best life 💛
Legendary. Ive been a scar fan for years finally hes getting some recognition
Scarlxrd previewing his new songs and performing to it was the best part😂❤
omg I've loved him since I was 12 and he was Mazzi Maz and then when he was in the band Myth City.
This is one of the most inspiring interviews I’ve watched in a long time
YO a collab i never would have predicted and never knew i needed
I love how excited Anthony was to see him. 🖤
Great interview! And omg that snippet was crazy!!
A crossover I never expected but I'm here for it, I fucking love both these men so much
This was such an awesome watch!
Myth City were really good and showed Scars potential, I saw them live with Area 11 in 2015 and they slapped
IM SO GLAD SCARLXRD IS GETTING RECOGNIZED MORE!! I"ve been listening for 5+ years now! Man's is a great person, I love his energy fr!
I’ve known scar since “peace love rubber gloves.” At first his music jump confused me but I see hes still the same super chill super funny guy who brought me joy
Y’all are my two all time favorites. This crossover event is WILD. ❤
W Collab
i literally grew up watching scarlxrd ever since he was mazzimaz and i feel like a proud sibling in a weird way😭😭
Peace love & rubber gloves 😢
30:45 is the best thing I've ever seen in an interview. It shows how much scarlxrd loves his work. Pure passion project where he does what he wants to do. Something I don't see with big musicians who just follow their labels orders.
Scar is so unique and cool. I bet he inspires a lot of ppl to be themselves
I would describe scarlxrd's style as a mix of ecstacy and anger, I've been listening to hos music for a while though and raw is the only word I think really fits.
This is an interview that I wish either never ended or was just a lot longer. I love scarlxrd so much lol
