    Getting worse over time is quite typical of post viral syndromes including post Covid. The implication is that your activity level is just a bit too much for your level of health. That’s not to say that keeping active including exercise is not important, but it’s important to pace yourself and to be mindful of energy expenditure vs energy recuperation (sleep, mediation, non strenuous leisure activities such as reading/tv). Good luck with your search for health. 👍🏼

      Medical herbalism is a science. 40% of pharmaceutical drugs are derived originally from plants.

    • @BIayne
      @BIayne Год назад

      @@Ali-Bea Herbalism is not anything specific.
      It's not even a licensed field of work. Literally anyone can say they're a herbalist in most places because herbalism is not evidence based healthcare.
      Obviously medicines use ingredients derived from plants. No duh.
      But what percentage of medicines are derived from a dude with no license whatsoever recommending herbs to you?
      I hope not a lot.
      Also, you know this dudes website is in the description right? Part of this guy's repertoire is """"medical astrology"""" which has to be the most nonsensical thing I have ever heard.
      But go ahead and tell me how this quack is actually legit because actual scientists use plants to derive ingredients for actual medicine.

    • @Ali-Bea
      @Ali-Bea Год назад +5

      @@BIayne I know this is RUclips and I’m not expecting a high iq but do a bit of research? You can do a degree in medical herbalism at a university or specialist herbalist college. Only medical herbalists and doctors are legally allowed to prescribe certain high strength herbs.

    • @JudoGeoff
      @JudoGeoff Год назад +2

      @@Ali-Bea just because one can get a degree in something doesn't mean it is legitimate, sadly. That shouldn't be the case, but it is. I've had run-ins with people across a wide range of fields who clearly are incompetent despite having Degree X from Totally Legit University Y.
      I've also encountered a wide spread in knowledge, sense, and general ability, as some people will get a degree from one place and be utter quacks, whereas people who get something called the same thing from another institution will seem to be much more reasonable (even if they still learned things that are on shaky grounds scientifically).
      For context, I'm educated as a reasonably "hard science" person (physiologist and biomechanist, primarily) and continue to work in that realm, but I have also worked for several years in a program that would be considered decidedly less conventional (a "functional medicine" program), and my comments come from years of experience with people across the spectrum in both/many academic and clinical worlds.

I need to try and mention anything I can think of for the video so it’s not short even if it’s something I’ve already sorted off camera. Comments like these are what made me stop doing these sorts of appointments even when people request it to help them relax cause it’s just not worth it for me.
