If you can comment on engine component changes that would be helpful. I saw another video that went over the bearing and short block changes for 2024, and I’m interested in the reliability improvements of the 2025. I’m ready to buy one, however with so many people having catastrophic engine failures prior to 60k miles I’m very hesitant without some significant reassurance.
the tundra issue has been taken care of. the tacoma transmission rumor was not real and the corolla gr seems to be due to mods done to the car or low performance drivers of a high performance vehicle. It really has never been a better time to sell Toyotas. Every vehicle toyota can build is selling.
Have they redesigned the engine ? I would like to buy a Tundra but I am leery of the V6 Turbo. I am waiting to see if they make any updates to the engine before I purchase a 2025, do have any information on that?
Just give me back the 5.7 V8 and skip this expensive unnecessary bells and whistles that I would never use that make these eighty thousand dollar plus trucks. I'm a simple old country boy that just wants dependable transportation that can carry a payload when needed. I don't need a massage, large computer screen or multicolored badges, I need financial break.
The changes sound good. I was expecting the mileage to increase more with the new hybrid trucks, especially the Tacoma - but it barely competes with the Tundra. I had been looking into getting a new loaded Tacoma in '25 or '26 but will probably lean toward the Tundra. My '12 longbed is starting to feel like a dinosaur and the mileage is my anchor.
How has the engine issue been addressed? I bought a 2024 and am confident it will be addressed but haven’t heard any definitive details besides the general recall.
Hi Steven, Appreciate your videos. Going to buy Grand Highlander and ship it to Europe (I am crazy - I love this car!). But I am worried about these things: - switching MPG into L/100km - switching Fahrenheit into Celcius (front and rear) - FM - will it get even frequencies? Don’t wanna loose my favorite stations Appreciate if you answer these questions or even make video about it Thanks!
Sorry bud, you may as well find a new job. Over 90% of 2nd gen Tundra owners are NOT going to buy the 3rd gen Tundra! Toyota absolutely destroyed customer loyalty with their 3rd gen failure. What a gong show. RIP Toyota Tundra
@@stevenwelchtoyota I did. You know it's bad the Ford, Nissan, and GMC tell you "I don't want that thing on my lot. I won't give you a penny. Not until that engine is replaced. I can't sell it. Not to an informed consumer."

They should put a 5.7 with 10 speed trans on new tundra. Ford have many different engine you can choose from why not toyota? Write to congressman for what? Other company have v8 on their truck lol
They can add as many badges as they want , I’m holding on to my 2020 V8

Where is the standard tow hook? 2022 and up tundra are junk. I love my 2014 rs5 off road is the beast.
These new trucks have way too much tech gadgets. Just build a truck, not a spa.
i want the spa... i drive alot
Best explanation of '24 vs '25 differences!

Change the motor back. Literally the only thing people want to know about is the motor.
That would take an act of congress
Tundras are blowing engines. Tacomas are blowing transmissions. Carollas are catching on fire. Not good to be in Toyota sales

so the rally pack gets you all the same stuff as trd off road but it looks different so it cost 8 g’s more?
