Awesome Bro!! Gears racing has been added to the list!!! Great job slight!
Thanks brother! I absolutely love these. Next time I’m down you’ll have to try them out.
Watching this late at night and only just realizing this video was barley uploaded. Love your content man been incredibly helpful in terms of maintenance. Really love the idea of getting this suspension but money is a big thing. One day hopefully
Interesting… yeah this video is not posted yet. Must be because it’s linked to a playlist…. Weird.
Appreciate the comment dude. Yes they are pricey (within the price of typical suspension upgrades to be fair) if you do get it, let me know your thoughts.
Hands down you will love this!
@@SLIGHT_ will do thank you for replying cause honestly I thought I was tripping because I tried looking for the video again and could not find it nor any mention of my comment. Bit of a sidenote, but I’m getting into moto vlogging. I posted my first video a couple days ago and if you had the time, I’d really appreciate it if you could give it a watch and let me know what you think. Completely understand if you don’t have a time. But just wanted to throw it out there as I’m trying to get more input.
@ absolutely dude! I’d love to give it a watch!
Slight, awesome video as always. I have a request, how to take out the ECU?! I want to submit the ECU to Woolich Racing so they do their thing and then we can flash it similar to the CMX1100.
@@JohnBhaktul sure thing.
Awesome content as always. I have been fighting myself on upgrading to the 1100 for the exact same reasons. 2k in suspension or sell my 2023 500 SE and put the couple extra grand into the 1100. Kinda still on the fence, i just truly love my 500 for every other reason. Also, what handlebars are you running?
@@dek7545 the bars I have are the biltwell keystone (there are two sizes… I’m running the shorter ones.)
I’m keeping the 500 for another year… I want to hit 100,000km ;) then I’ll make up my mind on the upgrade. The 500 is such an awesome bike… and with these upgrades I have done… it really changes the bike for the better. So if you want to upgrade… don’t buy these. If you do you’ll want to keep the 500 ;)
Why not Ohlins or HyperPro? I never heard of thise Gears racing is it renowed brand in US?
@@jakubw153 ohlins is limited to only rear, they no longer have the front kit available. Even with the 1100 they don’t offer much.
From my research, these guys are the only ones making front and rear, and the quality is equal to these better known brands. The only bikes I’ve seen Gears racing on is typically sport bikes.
Hyper pro I can’t find a kit available for the rebel…
Would You recomend this rear shocks as solution to pot holes and bump. I have some problems with lumbar spine and Honda shocks killing me... I even considering selling almost brand new bike.. 1300 miles on it... I wonder that with out getting more travel height could those shocks make big difference?
@@jakubw153 minor pot holes and bumps sure. Larger holes… you’ll feel it still. In these are miles ahead of the oem shock and can be adjusted to gain a more comfortable feeling, yet how I have mine set up is more sporty.
To simplify, The oem you feel everything… and bad. This removes the majority of those issues. (Still will feel the large ones - as expected)
@@SLIGHT_ I just started to research what Harley guys using as upgrades. I am trying to figure out how to instal longer read shocks. Maybe with some welding on frame or CNC adapters it will become possible. Thanks for quick reply!
can't afford to upgrade both the front and rear at the same time, which would you do first?
@@billycobb3980 rear first imo.
For comfort rear for sure. For better traction and control front.
@ exactly!
