Wow, I have no idea what RUclips thought that I need to see how to install adjustable suspension on a Honda rebel, but the content is gold.
Appreciate the comment in any case dude.
Finally getting around to watching and well done on the install. Love how easy you make it look lol
It is easy… lol 😂
Extremely well done Slight! can't wait for more! CONGRATS brother!
Great vid mate.
Im looking at just changing my springs over only.
Do I need to shave off the 2mm like you did??
YSS Springs.
I wouldn’t think so. The only reason that was required is the drop it’s will not pass through.
I think my Rebel 500 needs a more stiff front shock. What is the essiest way to stiffen the front shock? Can you just put in a new spring? Thanks. Great video
That’s the issue right.
The trick many used was a heavier weight oil. As for stiffer springs… these rebels have very limited support.
first!! yeah buddy i've been waiting for this!!!!😍😍😍😍
Lets Go!!
thanks Gus!
Buddy, do you have experience with a rebel 1100 better front forks adjustment??. I personally turn clock wide, a complete spin turn , but I don't see any improvement. Actually it feels more bumpy.. so i turn back half spin , now it looks a little better but these bikes have too soft front suspension. Do you have Any idea how to fix it. Like oil change or any upgrade.
@@gerardoantonio9001 I do, I will eventually make a video on this. Yet in the meantime you can follow/watch a few friends channels (I’ll link their specific videos on this)

So I've brought these for my 650. I used a grinder and it now it's flush with the guide. Do i still grind more or am I fucked and have to buy yet another set of tubes. I'm not working right and spent everything on just parts alone
@@rmbrblu can you pull the guide out yet? You should only need the 2mm removed (you’re only taking off the mushroomed edge)
@@SLIGHT_ I cannot. Like it's stuck together flush after using the grinder. I didn't start the second tube tho. If I could post a pic I would.
It probably can be saved I just don't have the tools. I'm just gonna give up.
@@rmbrblu don’t give up.
Take a photo and send me an email. I have the address linked to the page
@@SLIGHT_ alright
5:06 How many miles on that oil it looks rode out…
@@ericdoe2318 55-60k (kms)
@@SLIGHT_ oh man it looked like it! I’m at 22k and was going to changeout rebuild with a more heavy weight oil but I’m here exploring options! Great video
@@ericdoe2318 appreciate that man. Thanks for watching.
Where can I get this done for my rebel? :)
Depends where you’re located… but I would think most shops can do this. Not sure the cost they’d charge you though.
@@SLIGHT_ yes ill take a look around the area thank you
