I love how they're genuinely enjoying themselves! The only problem I have, though, with personality typing is that the consensus usually is that you can't change who you are. But I highly disagree... I believe we are all adaptable beings and we are creatures of habit. So, if a person views themself as an Introvert and doesn't like to "work the room" at parties or even go to parties in the first place, if they force themselves to do it anyway and did it repeatedly over a long period of time (maybe years, depending on how introverted they are, and how open they are to the idea) then I believe that it will eventually become natural to them and become part of who they are... I believe people are who they are because they've developed certain habits of doing things or thinking over the years. So, this would mean that new habits, or new personality traits can certainly be developed over time as well... I've seen this with my own eyes and have experienced this myself...

I really love this channel and you. I like your psychological facts and the way your educating us. I was related to film making.
I want to ask you some question "Why do people love cinema? What are the main reasons for a film success? What kind of a film people like most? ".
I am so curious for your reply and hoping that you would consider my questions too.
    Thank you

In another video where you said the ideal personality for women in western culture is: 1. high in conscientiousness (she's really organized and doesn't like to be spontaneous), 2. high in agreeableness, ("yeah, whatever you want, sweetie."), 3. medium-to-high in neuroticism, (so kind of a worrier, but it's cute and endearing), high extroversion (bubbly), and high in openness (adventurous and imaginative). Turns out I am in the wrong culture because I am almost the complete opposite: low openness, low conscientiousness, low extroversion, low agreeableness & high neuroticism. Good to know.

When you have low self esteem then obviously yes. I'am extemely extrovert person, but my low self esteem made me able only to make friendships with people ith lower social status than me. I'am law student from rich family, and my friends were always punks which lived in poverty. I really can't make a relationship with a person with similar qualities as me.

Ok, there seems to be a bug in the linked personality quiz in the "openness" category.
If you agree on the last question "Can we send you a little gift? We would love to send you our free conversation course: 3 Steps to Amazing Conversation:" you automatically get a "low openness" score. Even if you select all the high openness answers. I think agreeing on that offer should count as "high openness" instead of nullifying all openness.

I never knew I was a conversational narcissist until my late 20s! I really had no idea bc I didn't think I was interrupting people, I thought I was enhancing and really engaging with the person in conversation by doing this. I thought that I was showing the person how much we have in common by agreeing with them in this way and providing my own examples to prove how relatable I was. As painful as it was for a particular person to point this out to me, I'm glad they did.
