Welcome to another series from A to Z, in this series of episodes I will be building a point for expanding the Ah capacity of a 12V DC UPS to 230V AC.
In the first episode, I present all the components that will be used in the project and then I start mounting the elements on the DIN 35 rail so as to have an idea of what will be created. It is always worth leaving room for "expansion" and options that the concept may change.
I start with the main pieces of the puzzle and move on to sewing the electrical circuit. And more to come in the near future 😜
Expanding the UPS with additional batteries, part 1. From A to Z
    • Rozbudowa UPSa o kolej...
In the second episode, he mainly prepares the wires for sewing the entire system. Overall, it is the most labor-intensive process and most mistakes are made at this point. It is always worth making longer cables so that you do not have to do everything again if something "changes". The ergonomics of using the equipment in the future will depend on how we prepare the cables.

    Part 3
Something is already happening, we are finishing the wires that will be connected between the bridges and the batteries. I talk a little about fuses and how to deal with them in DIY systems. It already looks something like this and it could even work, but I'll add some accessories. To be sure, I measured the cables, which I did, but somehow it did not go according to plan and some discrepancies occurred. Fortunately, some conclusions have been drawn, the error is that the decimal point moves from mOHM to OHM, and with this, the resistance of the cables itself is quite high.
    Timeline:
0:00 - 5:31 Shrinking heat shrink sleeves on DIY concealers
    5:32 - 6:41 A little about fuses and baskets
6:42 - 10:20 Installation of the battery connection
10:21 - 14:30 Preparing the cable for the voltmeter
14:31 - 21:57 Measurement of power cables and installation
    Current episode made with:
    Synco - G1L - microphone
iPhone 8 - Audio and video
    Assembly - iPad 9

I elegancko.
