Ronkini Gupta, an artist best known for her pitch-perfect sweetness and her ability to mould her voice in any expression, presents the interpretation of the beautiful raga Malkauns. This raga evokes a meditative feeling within and soothes the soul. On Guru Purnima, this rendition is a tribute to, Shri Chandrakant Apte, Ronkini’s Guruji, who is the composer of this Bandish “Taaron Bhari Raat”. This particular composition in Drut Ektaal has explored the ripples that Malkauns can create whilst being so innately calm.
