- Mont-Sainte-Anne comes with a BIG reputation. The World Cup Downhill track is legendary and the mountain is filled with big bad double black diamond trails. But I was pleasantly surprised by the more mellow trails and was able to have a really good time without risking life and limb.

You would love the rest of the XC trails. We stayed in the MSA campground and had plans to visit Sentiers du Moulin and E47, but had too much fun on the crossduro trails at MSA. You would enjoy Penelope and the trails around the western end of the trail. L'erabliere and Sentier du Moulin (the trail) and the trails branching from Sentier are also great. It is surprising easy to get high up on the mountain from the campground.

with respect to your fork service after riding, 12 years ago, almost exactly, 12 years ago, I was at St Anne, before I knew to even ride a bike. We shared a gondola with rider, he was if you ride a lot jank/gnar expect your frame to only last about 4 years, sometimes 5 sometimes 3. BTW, you enjoyment of the trails shines right through! thanks for sharing.

We worked on my gf confidence a lot in the Grisante, perfect trail to initiate a beginner to gravity. Great work in La Tordue, it's a nasty one to nail ;)

Great videos! Question...have you been on the trail, where you have run into an actual wild animal right on the trail (Bear, mountain lion). If so, what did you do?
Will the transmission of the bike be damaged by such a wash? It's always been interesting to know
Nope, but high pressure might hurt some of the areas that have grease like the hubs or headset
