Can't believe how long this course is! I love it though. Brings a new element to the downhill world cup, tests endurance and there are so many sections that you can gain or lose time. The times are definitely gonna be much farther apart than normal, and going either first or last depending on weather should give a large advantage.
Having Ben narrate over Thiubault riding was actually really good. Ben is always soo excited riding. Great work.
I have a feeling that the "technical difficulties" were Ben double clicking record on the GoPro and thus not filming lol
I watched Jackson's run before the pb video. Jackson and Ben stopped talking in about the same spot then both apologized for not talking haha

I’m amazed how Thiubault is looking backwards every now and then on this course to see if Ben is still there! 🤣 He even does it just before some features where you wouldn’t want to take your eye of it!

I'm tired just watching this beast!! Always one of my favorites on the circuit and I'm loving the new changes. Would love to see Minnaar take the win! Maybe his strategic racing style will pay dividends on such a long and physical course 🤠 Can't wait to see how this weekend plays out

It's the WC track I would most love to ride, it would kick my ass big time but to me that is the ulitmate DH course, so rough, fast and technical.
I can't believe how fast they go down the rock sections, I just walked the track yesterday and it is gnarly !

I spent the whole video trying to figure out whether we were with or tibeau (no idea how It's spelt sorry). Finally figured it out at about 6:22.
Thibault is how it's spelled although your spelling makes sense too lol. You must've skipped the start because right before they start there's a black screen with text explaining that Ben's video encountered technical difficulties.
What was the technical difficulty? Did the video element corrupt? I swear the new GoPros are just a software MESS.
I bet the timelapse mode was on :P

Good point, it's so easy to kinda knock a button or swipe or whatever the hell changes it to timelapse/photo. So dumb. The little button on her hero 4 session was far superior to do basic settings.

There should be no pre-riding, only pre-walking. It seriously tears up the track and would help level the playing field.
