Brian, you and Alex had a huge part in getting me back into riding. I started way back in ‘96 and two years later got my girlfriend, now wife, into riding and we’d go ride almost every weekend. Then life changed with home ownership and kids coming along which resulted in me selling my bikes, workstand, tools, etc. I didn’t ride for a good 4-5 years, but came across your’s and Alex’s channels years ago. Watching gave me the itch to get back into it. Fast forward to the present time and my wife and I are both riding again. To make it even better our kids are also now into riding.
Literally watching this on the trainer. You are the best pedalling trainer in the world. Nate Hills maybe have more riding skills, but his videos are without this extra spark and commentary. I feel like I am riding with you
That is one of the best trails in Arizona, hands down! Awesome! At about 13:42 was when I went OTB riding my Titus MotoLite 26 inch bike back in 2020...that one hurt! Under-biked for sure! If you want en even jankier/harder trail try Wild Mustang /Wild Burro in the Marana area of Tucson, warning though lots of hike a bike.
Broke my elbow after going otb on the rock feature @1:45 my first time on bugs. Moved to the pnw not long after that injury and never had the chance to go back and ride it well. Really itching to go ride some AZ jank. Great trail riding down in Tucson!
Hey Brian, huge fan. I got into MTB 2 years ago and your videos are so interesting, helpful and inspiring. I bought an ibis Ripmo two months ago because of you!
I've also been watching all of the Everstoke progress and am trying to convince friends from MA to get out there sometime in the next year! We just did Vietnam for the first time and obviously had to watch your video before and after to compare. Next, I plan to upgrade to the Trail One grips for the new Ripmo! @@bkxc
Brian, great video. I “got a cactus” on Tuesday riding with my wife 🎉 our tandem mtb in the mountains north of Catalina. After brushing my right pinky on a barrel cactus, two doc appts and surgery to remove the thorn, we’re back on the bike Friday. Beware!
From a local Tucsonan, you killed it! That's a beast of a ride! You have to be in exceptional shape to ride Bugs, Molino, and finish off with an even tougher trail, Milli! What an awesome day! Weather is perfect this time of year for that kinda riding. Great job fellas!
So nice to see the HAB not cut out. I know it’s not people’s favorite things watch, but not all trails are downhill forever! And it’s always great to see the hometown trails!
That trail looks gnarly! The chunk translates well on film. Even a sprinkle of flow here and there. I bet you could clean Waterfall at National, you handled the chunk well, just took it “Step by step…”
That landscape brings back memories of riding when I was younger years ago living in casa grande Arizona which isn’t that far from Tucson I sure miss the desert rides and mountain biking. There is no way I could handle it these days the ole joints and back would give out on me 😂
There is something about in that kind of terrain and scenery, that is really appealing to the mind and soul. Awesome looking trails! Wish we had something like that here in Finland aswell, not too many cacti around here.
You're back in my home state! I love seeing the familiar terrain. I've not ever ridden Mt. Lemmon, but my home town is only 75 miles southeast of there.
I rode this a few months back....while there were moments of absolute fun, for the most part...75%, I hated it, and I hate that I hated it because I feel like I have a bad attitude. To each there own.
29:25 During one of my dirt bike races I had my phone in my pack and I ended up crashing and completely destroyed my phone, like folded it in a C shape 😂😂😂
My daughter is the one using up all my LMNT 🤣. She loves it when she goes to yoga class. Still have not tried the chocolate flavor 😁. I remember that broken derailleur. That sun is sure lovely in AZ.
If you like that ride, you'd probably also like the Palm Canyon Epic, near Palm Springs. Especially the variation that ends way left along the ridge. Hit it on your way home!
Great video Brian... I lived down there last Winter while working and rode nearly every day I was off. I didn't ride La Milagrosa and now I'm glad I didn't. I am on a Ibis Ripley and it looks like I would have been a bit under biked and I don't feel that way often. I did Bug Springs and the lower prison camp route and parked where you guys crossed the second time and rode up the highway to the BS start. The two hike a bike sections were a bit of a disappointment, but after you got them out of the way, it was a blast. Your new bike seems perfect for the double black sections. How do you like it overall versus the Ripmo? Love the Tucson area. Really fun video's. Cheers.
i’ve never ridden the lemmon (probably because i always ride solo). i do however love upper 50 year trail, gem, cowboy slickrock. not as epic but very fun after work ride
No geese were harmed in the making of this video. Lol. These trails have been on my bucket list for awhile but lots of things in life has happened and I haven't been able to go there yet. Hope to soon. Definitely not in summer though as it's hot out there in the summer.
Sawadee cap Brian from Bangkok, Enjoyed your ride on Mt Lemmon. It is a great place to MTB. If you have an opportunity stop by Copper Spoke Cycles and say hello to my friend Ryan Tiffin the owner. He will help you out! Blue skies brother...
Bkxc wassup with 2 weeks no video? Is that you who comments under every post or you hired someone from da Phillipines? If you in AZ you gotta ride Tomahawk trail with me that's a secret trail that connects to Hangover
@@bkxc if you in Sedona - I'll show you, it connects Tomahawk to backside of Hangover..It's a secret trail.. Just like Killer Bee and La Vitra in Casner canyon..

Man, that is just too cool to hear!! I hope you keep at it this time around!!
Good to see Bugs and Miilie back on here, hometown trails.
Love these ones!!
Between the squeaky headset and brakes, this was so relatable for most rider's. Awesome video and trail, thank you sir.
Hahaha, the damn sounds never end!
Having the sponsor break during the hike-a-bike: genius
Love picture in picture
Yours is the only channel I don’t skip past the ad… thanks for the second screen for ad. Also getting some LMNT now so it works
Glad to hear that!
Literally watching this on the trainer. You are the best pedalling trainer in the world. Nate Hills maybe have more riding skills, but his videos are without this extra spark and commentary. I feel like I am riding with you
Glad you enjoy them!
Trails definitely look fun!
Always appreciate the little nuggets of facts you drop about the destinations you ride
Glad to hear that! This is always a fun drop
I come back to this channel every year early spring and it gets me so pumped for riding season!
Love to hear it!

Oh man!! That is some good redemption you've gotta get!

Hi, Brian!! 🙋♂️
Man, amasing video! That kind of cactuses I've only see in cartoons😂😂😂
Greetings from Romania 🇹🇩🚵♂️💪

I love this kind of trails, semidesertic and all those creek crossings. Woww good job!!😊😊
That trail looks gnarly! The chunk translates well on film. Even a sprinkle of flow here and there. I bet you could clean Waterfall at National, you handled the chunk well, just took it “Step by step…”
Glad the chunk came through!!
Awesome ride! I've never seen so much water in Arizona!!!
Yeah, there was quite a bit that day!
Best biking vids on the interwebs.
Thanks for that!
Brakes sounding like a Canadian Cobra Chicken in heat.... The song of my people....
Hahahaha!!
Great trail to hike and ride. Mt Lemmon is under appreciated by many people. I almost bought a house on the Northeast side of the mountain
Oh wow, that's awesome!
That landscape brings back memories of riding when I was younger years ago living in casa grande Arizona which isn’t that far from Tucson I sure miss the desert rides and mountain biking. There is no way I could handle it these days the ole joints and back would give out on me 😂
Glad I could bring back some good memories!
Yall riding big enduro bikes and you walk down one of the best parts of the trail.
It's nice to not get hurt!
Rock garden around 30:30 reminds me of New Mexico. Can't say that's my favorite type of riding :)
Haha yep!
There is something about in that kind of terrain and scenery, that is really appealing to the mind and soul. Awesome looking trails! Wish we had something like that here in Finland aswell, not too many cacti around here.
Yeah, it's pretty amazing to experience it in real life!
Great video Brian , so envious of your trails and weather 😊!! Back at it again thanks to you , was the first channel I watched and still am 👍🏼👍🏼
Fantastic!! Love to hear that
Holy crap, this looks like a blast...good stuff!
This looks incredible!
You're back in my home state! I love seeing the familiar terrain. I've not ever ridden Mt. Lemmon, but my home town is only 75 miles southeast of there.
It’s a good one, for sure!!
I rode this a few months back....while there were moments of absolute fun, for the most part...75%, I hated it, and I hate that I hated it because I feel like I have a bad attitude. To each there own.
Haha, yeah, I've definitely got myself into a bad attitude spiral on trails that I had high hopes for!
Wow man! Great riding. I thought for sure you were going to eat it on some of the descents. What a trail!
Hahaha, they were intense
Man I needed this. Just got a new bike all built up and boom days and days of rain in Sac. Thanks for the vids, I'll see ya at everstoke sometime!
Fantastic to hear that!
"Wetness makes me so suspicious"
Great title for a R&B breakup song 😂
Glad you enjoyed Tucson, I love bugs !
It’s a great one
Pure Arizona jank, love it
Haha yep, me too!!
You guys are a little crazy and fearless!
29:25 During one of my dirt bike races I had my phone in my pack and I ended up crashing and completely destroyed my phone, like folded it in a C shape 😂😂😂
Hahahah!
This trail looks way sick. Thanks for sharing!
It's a great one!
I like your content. It gives me a chance to see a trail network before my wife and I ride it. Thanks.🤘
Glad to hear it's helpful!
EEEEEPIC! Can't wait to watch the 2nd half on my next break!
Love to hear that!
That place is a dream ,love it
Yeah, so cool!
My daughter is the one using up all my LMNT 🤣. She loves it when she goes to yoga class. Still have not tried the chocolate flavor 😁. I remember that broken derailleur. That sun is sure lovely in AZ.
Haha, still a little broken!! Thanks Mac
outstanding vid and rough trails thru beautiful country!
Thanks so much! It was an adventure
Love it! I live in Tucson and that ride is gnarly!
Fantastic!
Water cache! So smart--I've never done that on a bike ride.
Worked out really well!
If you like that ride, you'd probably also like the Palm Canyon Epic, near Palm Springs. Especially the variation that ends way left along the ridge. Hit it on your way home!
It's technically easier but has the same kind of spirit.
Palm Canyon Epic > Buena Vista > Wildhorse. I promise, excellent stuff!
Most definitely, I’ve done it a couple times and it’s a blast!
Try some mtx gold pads! Completely silent dry or wet!
Nice! Love to hear that!

It's a wild ride indeed, I'm glad I've got the bigger bike now!! Just a bit heavier on the climbs
Another awesome video brian. Keep up the amazing work.

Hahaha, it's still looming large over me!
One of the best shuttle run trails in AZ
Most definitely!!
Bkxc size jumps perfect
Haha yep!
Trails look amazing awesome content!!!
Thanks so much, it was a blast!
Please make a video on how the hd6 compare to the ripmo!
Started watching in the spin bike, finished watching at the dinner table eating stake and potatoes
Haha love that!
Brian, this Video Quality is Excellent! What Camera are you using? Hey. .Get a Pivot!
Thanks! I recently made a GoPro video, and if you google "BKXC Gopro" it should be the first result!
When did you install horns on your bike🤣 4:35
BEEP BEEP!!
wow...some chunk!
No geese were harmed in the making of this video. Lol. These trails have been on my bucket list for awhile but lots of things in life has happened and I haven't been able to go there yet. Hope to soon. Definitely not in summer though as it's hot out there in the summer.

Long time no follow Brian. What are you riding now? Good Video Look forward to find More..
Thanks so much! I'm on the Ibis HD6
Still on the Ibis. Kool. Thanks..
Let’s go Patrick!!
He was rocking it!
Hi Brian, fantastic trail but the bike suffers a lot, creeks a little bit.
Yep, those little sand particles got jammed right in
"Nothing good ever came easy." I say it like, if something is easy to do it probably isnt worth doing.
Yup!
Sounds like you have a clown car following you 😂
Hahaha
Above my pay grade (a.k.a., my shoulders couldn't take that much pounding). Nevertheless, fun to watch. Thanks!
Glad to hear that!
I guess I missed some videos but when did you get the ibis HD6? How do you like the mullet setup?
It's great1
Around 20 minutes into this video, I thought that you really needed more snacks. 😏
Haha yep
Mt Lemmon is also one of the coolest pavement climbs in the world.
I saw a lot of comments saying it's a great road climb!
Bro it's fun 😊 but you should maintain safety !!
Did I miss a vid on when and why you went to the hd6?
Yup! Haha, just look at the thumbnails and you'll see when I switched back in Spain
Brian doing a 30+ min video. He’s going algo!?!?’😊
Long rides are always long videos!
Haha. Well great video and I visit Mesa often so will certainly check out the trail. Thanks!
You doing ok Brian? 👊👊👊👊
im convinced this guy would laugh if he was taking mortar fire.
Love the video.
Thanks!
The bike color is great, really separates it from the env
Yeah, I love it!
I'm glad they decided to give you another bike. I let them know that this channel is the reason I knew they existed@@bkxc
icy bugs climb..😁
Haha yep!
I wish I could afford a pivot 😢
Whats up IBIS??? LOL
The creeks cause creaks .
Big time!
What kind of pedals do you use?
Shimano XT trail pedals, SPD!
Спасибо тебе чувак! Благодаря тебе сел на велосипед и получаю кайф! Продолжай также мотивировать!
I love hearing that! Keep riding!
Have you ever fallen off your bike pretty bad?
Yep, but never been seriously hurt. Last crash I had my thumb was injured for maybe a year.
The fck you can talk while peddling.. when im peddaling i cant talk.. coz if i did my energy and focus will goneeeeee.. hahaha.. nice ride!!..
Hahaha thanks
BKXC Do you get a lot of pedal strikes on that bike?
If so how do you mitigate the strikes
especially with all that chunder chunk?
I don’t think I’m getting many more than any other bike. Gotta keep those feet level!
