I live in Canada and was born in South Africa but all my extended family are from England. I didn't know her very well because of how far we were apart. My mom only told me about it a few years ago, I never really liked queen too much when I was younger but I still thought it was pretty cool, now I like queen alot so❤️. My gran showed me photos of them together when he was a bit younger when I visited her in SA 🇿🇦 2016.
It's legit I confirmed with my aunt and gran on my mom's side. It's not like I'm saying he's my grandad or anything just extended family.
That's all good! My great grandad on my mom's side traced my family roots all the way back to the 1100s haha, I've still yet to read all of his writings about what he found, he spent alot of money and used some very smart people to help him. Apparently I'm related to a couple interesting characters from what I've been told.
Nothing super famous outside of England but the coolest one I was told about was the wife of Shakespeare Ann Hathaway, she is related to the Eboralls aka my mom's maiden name.
If you are ever in Coventry England, you should visit Warwick Castle, my I don't know how many great grandfather's built the conservatory and designed the gardens that are still being kept there to this day! It's really beautiful.

Met Brian after Queen concert. At Long Beach ARENA in 78. He was so nice Freddie ran inside the restaurant THEY went to . Brian walked slowly singing autographs and talking to fans. GREAT GUY.

I saw this gentleman play live once, along with a great little band he was playing with at the time. During the Brighton Rock solo, right at a climactic note, he whiffed and missed the note. Much like this video, he looked out at the audience, smiled and gave a big goofy shrug before resuming the solo. It was a hilarious moment that made all of us in the audience feel like he was just a regular dude playing the guitar for a bunch of friends.
I've seen Bri play live many times, between 1974 and 2022. Still madly in love 😂

I do the exact same thing when I make a mistake when I’m practicing😂 then o tell myself, “that’s why you practice” I love Queen so much, it has always been one of my favorite bands and I love learning these solos. Brian May is just one of my favorite guitarists ever. Rock on! 🤘 ❤
