IMPORTANT NOTE***** shorly after this i was able to pop my r2 button back in. You just have to make sure both side clips on r2 button are cut or ripped off before popping it back into place. So no spring, no side peg/clip things. Then pop it back in and it works 95% perfectly. Hope this helps!
Dude just get a plastic straw bend it in half then kinda bite the bended part and stick it in there but if I still keeps falling out then but the it more and stick it farther

You don't have to buy a new controller you can just buy the parts you need and put them in it. This is WAY cheaper than buying a controller. FYI the standard PS4 controllers are poor quality. It also takes $18 for Sony to make them, and they sell them for $65.

Mini M&M's the spring helps the r2 button pop back up once u press it. But the cheapness of it causes problems n controller seems to last longer without it. But ita best to keep it in until u start having problems. Then its time to get rid of it
scarmesh bish unscrew the 4 black screws and take off the back. Then you can put in the L2 or R2 from the inside and reassemble your controller. The trigger might be loose and you might struggle to put your controller back but it works fine.
This is dumb take the little piece poking off the bottom then put one side of the trigger in. After that as lightly as you can bash in other side good as new. Spread this.

I got mine back in with pushing the roller things around and into place u just need a medium sized screw driver and put all ur weight into it
