Thank you. Best review I've watched so far. Very detailed with details I've been flipping through videos trying to find.... and not overly verbose. Thank you again!!!!!!!!!
I'm still amazed after all these years the lack of graphics on the watch faces. They continue to look like cartoons almost. Very disappointing. Appreciate the review. Thank you!
No Google Assistant functionality, Alexa instead, is flat out weird. My experience with the always on faces is quite different. I've been using it for the last 4 days without a recharge. Maybe it depends on the face.
I also prefer Google assistant, not sure why Fitbit has taken that voice assistant option away from the newer Sense 2 and Versa 4, when it was on the Sense 1, and Versa 3. And yes it definitely differs depending on the watch face you choose.

Thank you Abby for this very interesting video; . My first watch was / is a fitbit sense which I am still wearing during the night because of the sleeping rate. My cardiologue suggested though a withings watch because of the ECG and fibrillation notification but I am disappointed with the sleeping stages which are not broken down into REM, light, deep stages but I love the design of the watch. .I am hesitating now between a sense 1 (cheaper ) r sense 2. I do not need all these sophisticated features but if I think you said that sense 2 was thinner and lighter. what would you suggest ?
hello, for your uses I would suggest the Fitbit Sense 1, it still a great smartwatch in 2022 in my option. Also, it has ECG assessment, irregular heart rate/atrial fibrillation notification, sleep tracking with full sleep stages breakdown (REM, light, deep, time awake) and as you stated its a better price point right now. I have a full review on the Fitbit Sense here: ruclips.net/video/8TTCvQhlnbI/видео.html if you are interested!
I loved my Sense 1 until I began having to purchase new charging cables nearly monthly. The 4-pin magnetic attachment is defectively engineered and they haven't changed it for the Sense 2. The annoyance has put me off ever buying another Fitbit product.
Hi, I do prefer chargers that plug in vs magnetic but, I haven't had that issue and find it a bit strange your cords aren't even lasting a month, maybe the watch is defective somehow as that shouldn't be happening. And thanks for sharing.
Hi B. Rocket! You can set up notifications to be alerted for low/high heart rates. As well as for irregular heart rate Afib. As long as your notifications are on at night and not paused or turned off in sleep mode or do not distrub for example, you can get notifications at night also.
Hello, you need to be connected to your phone with the Fitbit app open. Start the ECG/EKG on the watch, put your thump and finger on the side sensors as shown on screen and your phones fitbit app will process the information, and you'll see your results and an option to download the EKG report completed.
I have just received this Fitbit and when I added it to my phone and on the screen notes that it is connected but it will not do anything else...it is stuck on the black face with the check mark. What is wrong?
Hello, sorry to hear your having this issue. I haven't experienced this myself and would recommend reaching out to Fitbit's customer service directly for assistance.
Hello, to change your watch face in the Fitbit app go to settings and click on the picture of your watch, then go to the Gallery section and choose a new watch face, many options to choose from. I cannot recall the name of this watch face sorry, I switch mine up often.
Hello, now they kiss have some differening features, I've reviewed both the Sense 1 and Sense 2 if uouf like more information on them. And both can do health monitoring for ex. Steps, heart rate, calories, sleep, activity tracking etc. if that'd all you need I'd go with the cheaper one in your area.
I am totally disappointed with my Sense 2, missing basics like Wifi, Music Controls, 3rd party apps. Not to mention having to disconnect older devices. I mean GOOGLE how could you get this soooo Wrong????? I will never buy another GOOGLE Product, the Trust is gone. Profit over Product.......what a rip off.
I share those sentiments. I've been Using Fitbit for years. Starting with the Ionic. Then moving to the Versa, then the Versa 3. I got the Sense 2 less than 2 weeks ago and I'm genuinely so upset at the LACK of features compared to my sons Galaxy Active 2. Which was on special at $199.00NZD. My Sense 2 cost me $449.00NZD. I'm really peeved frankly.
Nice review! I have a question; do you think that Google will EVER release a firmware update for the Sense 2 that will add features like crash detection, etc.? I really believe that Google has abandoned doing anything significant in the future for its Fitbit line, preferring instead to concentrate on their Pixel line. I would appreciate your thoughts on this. Thanks again for the review!
How accurate is the sense 2? I had bought the versa 4 awhile back and the steps were very misleading. If i just move my arms up and down it counted those as me taking steps therefore giving me false steps per day 😭
Hi, I don't find a difference in step accuracy between the Versa 4 and Sense 2. Also, most smartwatches track and determine steps by your arms movement/swing with the built-in accelerometer. Unfortunately for people who talk with their hands or move their hands a lot when not walking, you will most likely notice your watch tracking that as additional steps, and that can't be changed sadly. Honestly, the most accurate step counters are the ones worn around your ankle, but smartwatches give a good estimate, which is usually around 95% accurate, depending on the person & the watch.
Hi @AbbyBReviewing, thanks for this video. Which do you think is better, the Fitbit Versa 4 OR the Fitbit Sense 2? I'm trying to decide which to buy. Is the Sense 2 worth the upgrade? I had the Versa 3 and it's no longer working, so I'm looking for a replacement😪 and so much to review and consider, very frustrating. Thanks!😊
Hello! Both are very similar, and out of the two I prefer the Versa 4 for the lower price, and colour options. I also don't use the extra features on the Sense 2 much personally.
@AbbyBReviewing Hello and Happy FriYayyyyy, I ordered the Fitbit Versa 4 and received it the other day, thanks again for assisting me in which watch to get. When I tried to set up my watch, I turned it on and there is a big red X on the watch, what does that mean? I turned it off and on several times to troubleshoot and still get the same thing.
Hi Andrew, yes you can, all my smartphone notifications show up like texts, emails, app notifications. I don't have any loyalty cards to try but you should be able to add most credit cards, and loyalty cards to Google Pay.
Hi Abby, on Sleep Tracking, do you get consistent full sleep data on your phone app, including REM and deep sleep? My watch is rarely tracking sleep properly, so I do not get the score every day. Any advice?
Hello, I do get consistent sleep data. Just as a reminder you need to sync your watch to your phone to view any sleep data, your watch alone won't show anything until synced. And your Sense 2 wont track your sleep if you wear it to bed too loose, try wearing it a bit tighter. And see if that helps. If that doesn't work I'd recommend reaching out to Fitbit customer service.
Hi @AbbyBReviewing, thanks for your video! Just a quick question, which clock layout are you using because mine is different (I'm using Facet - by default). Thanks
Hi Robbie Boisvert, this is a free watch face I got from the Fitbit app under the Gallery -> Clocks section. And sorry I've actually switched watch faces since recording this video and don't have the name of this one saved.

@Reka Kovacs neither watch feels like plastic-like, and even though the materials differ, they feel quite similar when wearing in my opinion. And I prefer the look of the Versa but it'd be up to you on which you prefer.

Yea, no music downlaod ability on any of the new Fitbits. Igmf your looking for that function specifically. I'd recommend a Garmin(I've reviewed many of the channel) watch as most of them have music functionality!
Hi Cool Fish, I find the sleep tracking more accurate on Fitbit while, the heart rate is about the same for Apple and Fitbit. However, Apple Watch SE is able to detecting quick changes in heart rate faster for things like HIIT workouts.
Thank you. Best review I've watched so far. Very detailed with details I've been flipping through videos trying to find.... and not overly verbose. Thank you again!!!!!!!!!

Them removing the ability to install 3rd party apps makes it feel like a downgrade tbh
But was necessary for battery life
