  • I've seen the comments, so let's do this... Today I'm going to go over the Top 5 RAREST GUITARS currently in stock at the shop! Obviously some one off luthier built guitars would be the rarest, but I figured you guys wanted to see the rarest guitars we have from the big name brands like Fender and Gibson. My list has some modern finds, an acoustic, some exclusive made in Japan models, and of course some proper vintage guitars.
Also, by popular demand, I'll be doing a short demo of each guitar as well! We've got a well-rounded list of guitars here today. Let's get into it and check out some rare guitars!

I gotta say that I’ve been binging on your channel lately and I like the fact that when you play the guitar you don’t “shred” …I can actually hear what the guitar sounds like…thank you

The "rare" one in my collection is the one I got in college. It's a Fender Special Run that, when I put the serial number into the lookup, didn't get a result. It is a 2003 HSS Strat in red sparkle finish with a matching headstock. I could only find traces of three other such guitars online, with one post on a forum (and an old Reverb listing of the same guitar) saying there were only 166 of them made. I looked it up just now and there happens to be a different one that was posted on Reverb *today*, which seems like a really weird coincidence; the newly-listed one seems to be modified somewhat, since the back cover is a different color and the humbucker is either swapped out or rotated.

Great pair of Jags! The MIJ appears to have a different bridge and buzz stop. Wonder if it's a basswood body, but the MIJ offsets have a special place in my heart.

Really nice to see something different besides the standard 50's/60's Gibson/Fender offerings.
    Very nice.🙂

I love the 67 Jag and the green Tele. I have 2 that are fairly rare. Fernandes 6/12 string doubleneck that was made in honor of Jimmy Page. Has a wicked finish on it with the ZOSO logo. A Fender MIJ limited edition Antigua Tele.

Great videos. I’m a new subscriber and I’m enjoying them thoroughly! I liked the green Tele the best. I have two electrics, one a USA strat mid 1990s in teal green metallic with matching headstock, rosewood fretboard and also one Ibanez Artcore AS73 in what I believe to be the rare dark blue/black sunburst finish, made originally without the pick guard.

I know of a super rare guitar that is easily acquired and would stand out in your shop like no other.... It's called " The left-handed version of anything you have " ! Lol... If you do decide to go that route please don't make it the token fender squier like every other shop has.. just bustin' ya... Love the video!

I have a 1970 Martin D-12-28. I can't believe the seller tried to slide the headstock break by you.

I think the rarest part of that red American Standard Deluxe was the E8 serial, you don't see too many E8, E4 was more common.
