    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Anxiety can create all kinds of symptoms and one of the most debilitating one must be that crushing tiredness that many of us with an anxiety disorder develop.
    During my time dealing with anxiety I was tired 24/7 and could not get myself to complete the easiest tasks. Its like anxiety has completely drained me of all my energy and willpower.
    Of course, the mixture of being physically uncomfortable from muscles tension for example plus the racing thoughts can make it near to impossible to get proper sleep. Which will make things so much worse.
    This video will go through the process on how anxiety can make us feel tired and hopefully give you some of peace of mind and motivation on finally tackling anxiety altogether. I will also explain the 3 aspects that I have implemented into my daily habits and routines that I believe played a significant role in my anxiety recovery journey.

    Does anybody get whole body fatigue? Like a sudden wave of weakness that just hits you almost like a low blood sugar feeling? You feel shaky and weak, but then suddenly fades away after a couple hours?

      @@N0SleepPablo You won't get enough sleep, because the cortisol level will be very high in your body. It will be hard to fall asleep. Later, many other symptoms will appear in your body. But, relax, it will disappear as you stop worrying, but the process will take awhile. The first step is to stop worrying, then let your body rest. It may take 4 times longer than your stressful time. So if you have 1 month stress period, it will take 4 months for the stress symptoms to disappear, it can be longer.

      ANXIETY A VERY POWERFUL DUA.
      O Allah, I am your servant, the son of your servant, the son of your maidservant. My forelock is in your hand, your command concerning me prevails, and your decision concerning me is just. I call upon you by every one of the beautiful names of which you have described yourself, or which you have revealed in your Book, or you have taught to any of your creatures, or which you have chosen to keep in the knowledge of the unseen with you, to make the Quran the delight of my heart, the light of my chest, and to remove my sadness and dispel my anxiety.
      This is for a women to say, it is same dua but here it tells you how a woman should say it.

I think anxiety sufferers need more potassium because we are constantly draining our bodies of energy.

    Great video. It gives hope to see someone talking about anxiety as something past.
    There is a way to deal with it. Sport, meditation, communication with your friends and family, learnings..
    Sport will help you relax your body and your mind.
    Meditation, learnings, communication will help you put things into perspective and become the one you used to be (or even better, it can empower you) before stress and anxiety ruins your life.
    About Acceptance: Remember that it is the society and your toxic environment that gave you anxiety at first. NOT YOU. It is not your fault.
    The world we are living in goes too fast.
    Most of us have made forced choices and become someone that we didn't want to be because of the pressure of the society.
    I wish you all get over it.
    Watching this video might be your first step toward healing!

      If you have anxiety, your body defense mechanism is to release a lot of histamine into your body. This will make you tired all the time. You need to discipline your boys so that they do not act out. Otherwise, you will never get enough rest. The sleep will help reduce histamine concentration in your bloodstream, and take vitamin B6!

      It doesn't sound like anxiety is causing this; way too often (especially to women) docs diagnose 'anxiety' (& other mental health problems) rather than taking our symptoms seriously & looking for the CORRECT cause. They did this to me - including trying to make out that the very weird terrible heart effects (started by unnecessary & very botched anaesthesia/op) = pounding non-stop continuously at start for many days with PAIN (thought I'd die one night they were so terribly painful/enormous - together with very faint = realised later not enough blood getting to my brain = collapsed twice in public early on) were 'palpitations' & 'nothing to worry about; GP offered then next appointment refused, 24 hour heart monitor = he was helping the hospital docs with their cover-up. after some time the skin exactly where the pain had been (& still is 15 years later, milder now) went really odd in a patch about 2-3 cm diameter; that lasted several years and has now gone. NOT 'anxiety' but neglect of ALL my injuries (including brain, neck, throat/tongue & vision & digestion damage) DOES, unsurprisingly = cruelty.

    Last week I was having 1-3 panic attacks everyday and 2 days ago I decided to do a dopamine detox to see if it helped my body “reset”. So far it’s been amazing in terms of feeling connected to my body and easily identifying my needs. However now I’m frustrated because today I woke up with all the intention of being productive, I did everything right and then as soon as I sat down to work BAM a wave of exhaustion comes over me and I can’t just keep going. I started pacing asking my body what it needed and since it felt like a sugar crash (even though I ate an hour ago) I went to get a snack. I just ate the snack and drank water and I still feel exhausted. I know it’s not lack of sleep because I slept 8 hours and then an extra hour after that. I’m so frustrated and tired of living with anxiety, I’m gonna keep going and I know one day I’ll be able to produce and be consistent but it’s so scary how physical this whole thing is. I’m also bipolar and adhd so I feel all my other mental disorders physically too but anxiety is by far the most intense one and it makes everything less enjoyable. Now I’m in bed because I just don’t know what to do.

      @@annoyedgem9966 I’m doing a lot better because the meds I’ve been taking finally started working and even though I still get anxious it’s a lot easier to manage. I stopped the dopamine detox the next day but just 3 days of the detox combined with my meds kicking in have made it so that I can finally sit down and work without breaking down and it’s a lot easier to take things one step at a time. I realized that the wave of exhaustion is happens because when I’m about to do something I go through all the steps in my head from start to finish and it makes me feel tired as if I’ve already done everything. So now I say steps out loud as I do them like tasks in a video game and if I catch myself stressing over a task I have to do later I tell myself to enjoy the present and it works. Again that’s only because I’m on meds (Lithium Carbonate). Thank you for asking :)) ❤️

I’m sure you’re probably here searching videos in a desperate attempt to find answers. that was me 4 months ago as well. if you’re wondering if the extreme fatigue went away, it almost completely has, but there are still days when I still feel low on energy. I remember feeling helpless at the time because I couldn’t see it coming to an end and it really worried me. All I can tell you now that I’m feeling better is that it takes time but it will slowly go away. I know it’s easier said than done but slowly try and do things like going out and speaking to people to distract your mind from it. It doesn’t have to be somewhere crowded just to a friends house or a family members house. What helped me was going to the doctors office (when I went to get a check up because I wanted to make sure that there was nothing wrong with my physical health that might be causing the fatigue which you should do as well if you haven’t already.) It had been a while since I had gone out because of covid and so the doctors office was the most I had moved and spoken to people in a while. I realized as I was waiting I felt really tired but when I was called in and they started talking to me and I started replying I felt better. I realized then that I just needed more distractions. I don’t know your exact situation but I hope this helps you at least a little. If you had a blood test done and you told your doctor all your symptoms and they say it’s anxiety than it most likely is anxiety. I was also skeptical at first because I just couldn’t believe such scary symptoms could come from anxiety, but they really can. I even went to the hospital once because I was so tired and I had this weird strange feeling in my body that made me feel like I was dying. That’s how tricky these anxiety symptoms are. @ImprovementPath  5 лет назад +9

      Hey man, to be completely honest i would not say that i am completely over it all. I am about 95% back but i would say that i am still more anxious than the average person. I dont get panic attacks anynore and my general anxiety is definitely a lot lower but i notoce that when stressful times come up i do get tense and tired alot quicker. Not so sure howbi can most accurately describe it but hope you get it :)
      But hey overall i am for sure a happier more rounded person!
      I believe that every recovery will have its set backs and the way you handle them is crucial. So if you could string along a few days and weeks without any major attacks and then that one bad day happens you should not let that one bad day spiral you all the way to square one. Mark it down as a setback and soldier on 💪

    • @noble7648
      @noble7648 5 лет назад +8

      I think the biggest reason for my setback is because I don’t want to deal with this my whole life and feel like this my whole life. I just want to go back to normal and be a regular person. My biggest fear is to have to live alongside anxiety my whole life.

    • @ImprovementPath
      @ImprovementPath  5 лет назад +8

      Yeah i get it. But as you say... Your biggest fear is to deal with this your whole life. Just this fear alone will cause stress. I was the exact same way! I bounced back and forth from feeling great to being back to high anxiety mode.
      I got so annoyed and accepted that this was now a part of me and its who i am at this moment. BUT i had a vision on how i imagined my life would be and so i work on it every day step by step. Over time as i felt more content with my life my anxiety levels dropped.
      If you havent done so already i can only recommend getting out paper and pen and write down what your goals are and how you see your life a few weeks, month and years from now. Every day work on something no matter how big or small that will get you closer to that goal. You will build up confidence and happiness along the way and with that your anxiety will fade.
      Oh and yeah as if i havent said it enough in the videos. Exercise and working out is a must :) really!

      I'm not a medical professional but I was diagnosed with GAD and depression about 6 years ago. I think there is absolutely a connection between GAD and CFS. When you worry about everything all the time every day, it leaves the mind and body incredibly tired, your body is always primed to fight/flight/freeze because of your anxiety triggering excess adrenaline. That's not normal and is exhausting.

    when depression/ psychotic events are long term and pills fail to treat it - depression/ schizophrenia / chronic fatigue could be down to the instability of head so called craniocervical instability. If you are hypermobile ( check what Beighton scale is) then more than sure your ilness is down to it. The best option is to buy cervical collar . Aspen Vista seems to me be the best. Please ,please check what EDS is and what craniocervical instsbility is. Due to poor oxygen levels ,depression, schizophrenia occurs and pills do not help.

    Did your fatigue ever stop you from working ? I’ve been out of work for the past 6 months and it’s so depressing to me...probably that’s why I’m still in this state lol I was going good until a week ago when I realized my anxiety levels were increasing for some stupid reason and I was on high alert pretty much the entire week. My stomach payed for it and my energy levels as well. Today in particular my entire body hurts and I feel so exhausted physically. I’m trying my best to see the best in this situation but I’m not sure how much more I can take. I feel like this is ruining my life. Can you offer any advice ?

    • @ImprovementPath
      @ImprovementPath  5 лет назад +5

      Hey thanks for your comment. I know what you are talking about so well. Ive been through this for many many years. Yes i the fatigue stopped me from many things but i didnt have to quit a job because i was working at the family business at the time. I had the freedom to work from home or the office and of course i made use of staying home a lot. So if i were employed and was forced to work in the office i can imagine that i would have given it up....By the way working at the family business was a part of my root cause for anxiety and i quit working there.
      I dont know what it was but at some point i was so fed up by anxiety and how it has taken over my life. I just told myself that if i have to feel this way i should still do the best i can to live a full life. First i started jogging for a few minutes, after a few weeks i started doing body weight exercises and then moved on to working out at the gym. Trust me, it has changed everything for me. The body and mind are simply connected. If your body feels good your mind will follow. I guess for us with anxiety its simply easier to start with the body than trying to control the "uncontrollable" mind. I guess for some its the other way around and they started with mindfulness, meditation and so on but for me it was definitely body first mind later.
      So how did i do it? - I simply eased myself into it because i didn't see any other way out. I was pretty much hopeless and wanted to give everything a try. And for some reason it quickly became a habit and sort of an addiction for me.
      Hope this will motivate you to start too. It is not a quick fix but recovery can come faster as you think if you stick to the plan consistently!
      If you have any questions just let me know and hope to see you around here more often!

    All very well if there are no external causes of the anxiety - for me these include: no income, no proper healthcare cover, no GP, threats from landlord that if I don't pay the rent he'll evict me - but he hasn't put heating in nor done the repairs etc. he promised, living in an unsafe, uninsulated (varies inside between 6C and 33C) apartment with stairs that I fall on and a garden I have to cut (hurts my injured back & neck bad) but can't use because it's so noisy, and lots more... I've got a brain injury and I can't do all the repairs etc. myself but can't afford to pay professionals to do them - plus every time someone has come to fix something or help me they've broken something else - no 'sorry' or anything. I get exhausted by all the threats which create mega stress, it's a killer: it's certain I'll die much earlier than if I had been allowed peace and security.

My situation has changed: forced mega pack (6 weeks) & move back to england = none of it MY choice; plonked in a place I'd never visited & knew nobody, & UK so terrible weather: lots of dull grey days & grey skies/clouds. My beck & neck got even more injured doing packing/moving so everything is more difficult/painful - including & especially my art; I've lost my way with that now, I was doing quite well but way too many changes & disruption. Got heating but difficult to control & very noisy & expensive. I hardly go out now = nothing to go out to do that doesn't hurt. No threats of eviction but lots of things are bodged & don't work properly/injure me. Garden was v pretty but mega stress: I can't look after it so it isn't so pretty now & mega stress fence falling (been pushed?) over & people had fiddled with back gate & left padlock open. Docs & dentist & optician (if that's what they are) think it's SO funny to do really stupid stuff; needed right spex for many years = 'not allowed' apparently. So: different in some ways but more of the same, repeat... Dunno what the point is.

Don't know what I'm meant to go outside & DO when standing, walking & sitting all hurt lots - & it's mostly SO cold & grey & damp & too much rain & wind. I'm glad you've found ways to deal with what you have to (med problems/injuries like me including neuro/brain injury?), I do take one day at a time, day in bin yesterday coz SUCH a bad night (as too often) & today hand-washed my clothes & then too tired/hurting for much else. Had the things that gave me joy taken from me, latest mega move was a BAD idea coz EXTRA injuries not worth it for ANYTHING; how would YOU like to be plonked in a place you didn't choose, don't know & knew nobody? Or maybe that's happened to you too? If so I sympathise, lots. How do we know that the chronic tired feeling comes from anxiety? I mean, for me I’ve done tests etc as recent as 2 weeks ago that say nothing is wrong, and yet, I can’t help but feel maybe there’s an underlying problem...
      I used to be very active and now, take right now for example. Woke up at 8am, drove my wife to work, came back home and got into bed, not knowing if I should get out and get my work started, still feeling tired and unsure if I’m going to feel giddy, or make myself more tired of sick by doing things... it feels embarrassing to even type these things.

    • @ImprovementPath
      @ImprovementPath  5 лет назад +4

      @@shawnd1336 well youve got your tests done that came back negative. You know that you have anxiety and being super drained and exhausted is something very common for someone with anxiety issues. Give up the search for answers and learn to accept it as a side effect of your anxiety.
      I identify with every word you just wrote. I too couldn tget myself up to do anything. All i wanted to do was to nap but even that i couldnt manage as my anxiety would keep me up.
      I have learned that doing more is what you need to focus on. Do more and you will feel less fatigued. It is going to be extremely hard to get yourself motivted but always keep in mind that your anxiety is eating up your life. Give recovery all youve got and conquer your life back. Go workout, go for a jog take care of your personal hygiene (talking about me lol) and do things that you used to love doing. Work against your desire to crawl back into bed and you will see an improvement of your overall condition in no time.
