Hello big fella nice flight with the new girl! Yes the tuning is something else everyone is spoiled flying DJI as it’s all done for you in the software, Beta-flight is the one you said you are using I use Inav a sister program for my fixed wing, along with Ardupilot at first they’re hard to get your head around what needs to be done it looks as though your not too far off the mark just a few tweaks to suit your type of flying. With regard to the battery you can go to 3.3 volts per cell safely lipo’s can be damaged bellow 3.0 volts per cell, in the battery part of your program you can set up an alarm say for 3.4 -3.5volts all it does is flashes the voltage reading on your OSD. I’m sure you know the 03 air unite is the same as the Avata so your ND filters will fit it (no more extra expense) keep your patience and you’ll get it cracked.👍👍👍👍👍
@@brianhough6564 thanks a lot Brian, much appreciated, I’ve always bought some different NDs, coming in the next video 🤗 Betaflight is a beast haha, took me ages to sort it and I still have more to do. Interesting you mention about the battery voltage, I was told 3.5….ill stick to that for now as a safety measure if anything 😂 I’ve had my Avata auto land too often 😂
@@BBDigitalArts Try it with cinelog20 stock 4-blades white props and you get same agility as with Mobula8 (43grams) ! And its not so easy to break, the bracket is most fragile part but if you didn't go naked its no big deal
Love it! Definitely seems to have a lot more punch & power than the Avata, as well as seems to float a lot better. Loved seeing the journey. Thanks for taking us along for the ride.
@@lecolintube ahhhh thanks so much man 🙌🏻 it’s got a ton of punch, I’m assuming because it’s nearly half the weight. The journey will continue, stay tuned 💪🏽
Good to see you're enjoying it mate! Not sure if you're aware or maybe figured it out by now. You can have an auto record on arm, there's a setting in camara section of goggles
@@fpvshenanigans hiya mate, thanks 🙏🏻 I did see it….i may have to have a play, sometimes so far it has recorded both and sometimes only on the goggles, bit of a pain!
I just learned how to setup those voice prompts on my remote too. After ignoring the feature for 2 months. It was easy! When I buy my next drone, I'll create a profile and assign all the voices while I wait for delivery. So when it arrives I can just open the profile, bind and add ranges in betaflight.
I sure have enjoyed your new adventures into Bind and Fly FPV quads. I have a GEPRC Cinelog 25 v2, perfect little all around drone. I cracked one of the prop guards when hitting the concrete with a TATTU 1050 R-Line Battery. Battery was a bit too heavy at 116 grams. Great results with TATTU 750 R-Line at 84 grams although it puts you over the 250 g limit at ~268g. I use a remote ID module with that combo. Keep up the great work and thank you again for sharing your experiences.
@@markbosold4050 thanks a lot Mark, I cracked my props on my 2nd flight 😂 coming soon…I was a little too ambitious. I havnt weighed mine to be honest since fitting it all together
Great flying. Yes best to fly in open field for first flight, my first flight was on a concrete pavement as open but bad idea as when landing or coming close to ground I used to crash, so I look for a open field / oval so have a soft landing.
I spent two or more weeks setting up my cineape35, still playing around with rates. I got the SpeedyBee adapter so I can configure my rates in field with phone. One thing I don’t know is my fly modes, can only get angle and air mode working. Can’t get horizon mode, doesn’t worry me though as I don’t use horizon mode just switch between angle and air mode. You can set the recording in the goggles 2 automatically, I found it in the settings. I find I have to keep moving forward if I slow down, I have to keep the throttle Sri k slightly up, otherwise if back off throttle the drone will fall to ground. Definitely not like Avata. The radiomaster rc much better then DJI rc
@@aerialworxwithspikee have you got an iPhone or android? I was briefly looking at the speedybee app but havnt decided yet. I wouldn’t use horizon mode so it’s all good. I saw the auto record, there was a reason why I didn’t use it I’m sure but in hindsight I think I’m going to change it It’s pretty different to the avata but it’ll take some time 👌🏽
Avata is great for what it’s designed to do. Cool drone, though nice to add to the arsenal. Definitely replace your Avada only $220.-$250 for just the replacement drone
@@LoVeAmBiEnT thanks for reaching out mate, I love the Avata, I won’t be replacing anytime soon, the battery life is a game changer and for a replacement equivalent with the battery and O3 unit it’s probably closer to $500-600 I reckon
It looks like the angle of camera is similar to how I have it. Looks to be 10 degrees or 5 degrees. But that is a good angle to start with, goes a bit slower. I gone below 3 v, drone drops out of sky luckily for me was low to ground and it fell on soft grass.
@@aerialworxwithspikee yeah the angle of the camera was about 5 degrees I reckon, I’d like to go a lot slower than the Avata, I need to mess with the rates at some point too and make some adjustments
