Hi, are you from Stillwater, Oklahoma? I am a college student here and love your recipes. Hope you are well. ❤

Hi!! I’ve actually been to your Stillwater but am not from there! My Stillwater is a little river in Montana, which is near where I was born many moons ago. I’m so happy to know this channel found you and that we have our respective Stillwaters in common, and that you’re enjoying the content. Thanks for spending your time with me and good luck this year in school!! 💛

This looks really good! I haven't had much luck making recipes with soy. My family loves takeout food like this but the 3 recipes I made they all disliked because the soy sauce really overpowered everything. And I agree with them but I don't think I did anything wrong. I followed the recipes to a T. Because I'm always watching my weight I don't do a very good job of tasting the food as I'm cooking it. I always just follow a recipe and don't taste it much at all. It sounds silly as I'm saying it but it is something I am trying to remember to do. How does the coconut aminos differ in taste from soy sauce? I'm wondering if they would like that better?

It totally makes sense!! For me, coconut aminos tastes less salty and slightly sweeter. It also doesn’t have that slightly funky taste that I sometimes get from soy. It’s definitely not an exact replica which it sounds like in this case is a great thing for your family! It’s not an inexpensive ingredient (I think soy is quite a bit cheaper) but you don’t have to use much of it to get some flavor payoff. Let me know if you try it and what you think 😊
