The Dakar rally for cars was won by a woman in 2001, Jutta Kleinschmidt from Germany
in 2020 the race was 7 900 km (4900miles) Thats like driving from Maine to Los Angeles then back to New Orleans over 13 days. But doing it offroad. Dakar is THE offroad race in the world. Nothing else come close.

Endurance are in circuit like 24h du man, dakar is a rally raid race, the final stage of rally racing. 😉

If you think 24 hours going in a circle is more endurance than Paris France to Dakar Senegal think again!
@@daveofyorkshire301 it s not what i think, its what they call themselves like you said in your comment it s a rally raid. It s a rally organisation with different stage made by des speciales like in wrc. It s the hardest rally race but it still a rally. L’endurance, it to make the maximum distance in the time accorded it’s not a time attack like they do.

Have you seen any rallying? Never mind long-distance endurance rallying? Driving in a circle for 24 hours under strict rules and regulation is a joke...
The Dakar is 9,300 miles over 10-15 days and you think driving in a circle for 24 hours is endurance? How many of those that start actually make the finish line?
