He was right. Back in DAO blood mages are rare. A single one of them could cause mayhem. But in DA2 you can see blood mages running around like mice in the sewers.
Cause Kirkwall is a shithole with even crazier Templars than usual. And you see plenty Blood Mages in DAO, the whole Circle questline is about/because of blood mages + the situation in Redcliffe is because of Jowan, a Blood Mage. They also infiltrated the capital.
super thin Veil, possibly where the ancient magisters did the spell to invade the Golden City all = Mega Magic Gas Leak. The Veil isn't "thin" in kirkwall, the Veil is covered in lead paint and everyone's been licking it
While I do prefer FemHawke, I love the voice acting and dialogue from this game in general. From the funny parts to the serious parts, the voice actors did a great job playing their parts.

Hah, one of my favorite dialogues that was missed was when you go to capture this guy that's been murdering elves in this one cave and one of the elves is really pissed because your not supposed to kill the murderer and points to the guards and says something like "all you care about is protecting your pretty human children" and Hawke looks back at them and responds, "have you looked at those guards? I don't think they'll ever be having any 'pretty children' "

The problem with purple/sarcastic M!Hawke is that his face always looks mad for some reason. While I like the voicelines, the face just doesn't match. Which is why I like purple F!Hawke so much. I think both are great though!
@antifrituras and you have to go through the painstaking process of changing hawke's nature to get special dialogue options for some coversations. diplomatic for the dalish band in the wounded coast or angry for offered and lost ect

Kirkwall is part of the free cities, like the city states of Italy, the Qunari are Muslims of the medieval period during their first expansion, Orlais is France, Ferelden is Britain/Ireland possibly, tevinter is the holy roman empire as was, rivain is the Balkans(?), antiva is Spain, the anderfels are the Norse(?) as far as I can make out.

Doll Face well it's because in DaO people never thought that the hero of ferelden should be funny..but in DAi..the inquisitor lacks the level of sarcasm and humour that Hawke has but still has some sarcasm and humour..
@@mastercheesech.6076 HoF had some funny lines, but it's non voice acted so it's all up to you not the voice actor. I prefer that since in DA2 and DAI I think the lines can be hit or miss and its more bioware saying things than me making choices, but they have some hilarious lines
@LeeDeeMee not just you, I was VERY disappointed that the voice actress for lady Hawke can't seem to deliver those kind of lines without sounding smug at her own humour. The male voice actor nails it almost every time... and to think I'd been so looking forward to playing a smartass female rogue... now all my ladyHawkes have to be srs bsns all the time

DAI takes place in chaos and war varric isn't the same like he was in DA2 the humorous comments don't work same with hawke he has less humour
