Why do you need to rank? Chi-square is ideal to test statistical significance per variable. Some use the mean of each variable to rank those ten variables. However, the mean should not be used on ordinal data.

I want to ask, what if we want to evaluate the answers of both groups to the given question, is there a particular test for that? for example, if I want to see the satisfaction of 200students (both male and female) after finishing a course if it very good, good, neutral, bad, and very bad. how should if test and present the outcomes. and what test should I use for that?. You can use spearman correlation or one-way ANOVA for more than three groups
@@MohamedBenhimaPhD ANOVA should be applied on data exhibiting parametric data.

One needs to use a t-test only when the data follow a normal distribution.

If I don't have independent variables, could I still use SPSS. I have only 60 participants and a question to be answered.
