    How can we rank a number of questions, for example I have asked 10 questions each about a barrier to exercise. Each question uses a 5 point likert scale.Now how I can rank these 10 barriers based on responses

      I have the same problem. Can you reply please Mohamed?

      Why do you need to rank? Chi-square is ideal to test statistical significance per variable. Some use the mean of each variable to rank those ten variables. However, the mean should not be used on ordinal data.

    Thank you Mohamed. really excellent work. I want to ask, what if we want to evaluate the answers of both groups to the given question, is there a particular test for that? for example, if I want to see the satisfaction of 200students (both male and female) after finishing a course if it very good, good, neutral, bad, and very bad. how should if test and present the outcomes. and what test should I use for that?. Kindest regards.

      You can use spearman correlation or one-way ANOVA for more than three groups

      @@MohamedBenhimaPhD ANOVA should be applied on data exhibiting parametric data.

    Thank You brother , and I want to know how I can compare between the two likert questions?
    e.g the group answered question about their working hours then the same group answered 3likert questions about the risks,,, I want to know the is there a significant between working hours and the risks.
    please If you can help me
    thank you

      Hello, if there are three groups, you can use one-way ANOVA instead of independent samples t-test.

    Hello can I ask, why did u use Mann Whitey U instead of T-test?

    • @Luckisto
      @Luckisto 2 года назад

      One needs to use a t-test only when the data follow a normal distribution.

    Hello everyone! Can I ask if someone know or knew where I can find a RRL related to a 3 point likert scale which can be used for data interpretation? Hope someone will answer this. Thank you!

    If I don't have independent variables, could I still use SPSS. I have only 60 participants and a question to be answered.

      Not on ordinal data.
