Wow, being able to test your own code on your own report directly in the playground just made everything SO much easier! Especially for those of us, who don't work with the API so often 😅 Great update!
This is a stunning update! I agree with Adam, it was a bit outdated (albeit still incredibly useful). The update takes it to the next level!! Well done to all who've been involved 👍
Hi, do you know how can I use this on a Power App? I have multiple reports on different workspaces and I want to enable some options. This is because the embedded link from Power BI does not have the full action bar buttons as the web mode on Power BI Service.
Thanks for the video! Is it possible to show us an example on how to embedd power bi in salesforce with power bi embedding licence ? In order to give access for non power bi users. Thanks
Hi Amit e Adam, I would like to clarify a doubt if possible. In the company where I work, we have a Power BI PRO and Power BI Premium P1 license there, with the Premium P1 license it is possible to embed reports in a website or application for our external customers who do not have a Power BI license, similar to what the Power BI Embedded provides? Or for that purpose would I have to purchase Power BI Embedded? Thank you very much in advance.
I’m not a developer and we’re using PBI on-premises in the company: is there a possibility to embed PBIReportServer reports into Local Applications developed “in-house” ?
You can do it, but it isn't as full featured as with the Power BI Service. On the URL you can add ?rs:embed=true to remove the chrome and then use an iFrame. It relies on Windows Authentication though. docs.microsoft.com/power-bi/report-server/quickstart-embed
Q: I am sure the answer to this is yes. We have an application that has a reporting facility we want to imbedd power bi using it in the use for customers context. The report facility will create html tables or xml that we would feed into power bi imbedded via jQuery or JavaScript. We do something similar using pivot.js Is this possible using your product? Again we would be using jQuery for To call the power bi embedded Using json or an html table is input
while I embed simple PowerBi report (one chart) to SharePoint and loading time is just unnecaptable. It should first load last remembered snapshot, and do the load in background. Not force user to wait to see any resaults.....

@@lokeshramaraj2800 But I can already put a report in a Power BI app?
@@Daithi354 power bi app is different. It is still within service portal. This is to embed within your web app like a website etc
@@lokeshramaraj2800 I see, that clarifies some more thx
But can i use this in my app??
If I bring in my own report to the Developer sandbox , is it secure? Or should I be using test data?

It would involve a web app hosted within your secured network (physical / Azure) i presume... I will be tackling with this idea soon at my workplace.
Thank you @@jannowakowski2914. Please drop a comment here if it works

Thank you! I’ll try that.
Great video!!
This is so awesome. Ability to set visuals and sliders in code! Trying to do this in DAX is such a waste of time. Love it.
this is really cool!
This Zelda T-shirt really got all my attention hahaha good old times

Quite pricey from what i see, good for organizations - not for freelance developer who looks for quick data visualization within his app / system.
Couldn't you just adjust the filters by clicking on them? Why get all this java business involved?
