Really like the Info panel concept, yes, would like a video on that!
Yes please!
Yep....another bananas idea/video coming up
Me too, it is a great idea
Yes Please!
Great idea! Yes please?
That info panel idea is awesome. Would love to see a video on it.
Me too!🧡
Agreed!! Attempting to add this to my report today!
Love the drill through feature! I've used that on a few of my reports already but I LOVE the decomposition button you set up there. I am DEFINITELY going to use that! Thank you!!!
Love the video. A colleague simplified this approach. She set up a load of text boxes with yellow background colour and set up the button to show / hide.
Love the idea of a transparent image with bubbles / balloons but her approach was dead simple!
Def like the Button slicer pane and the Info panel overview, as well as the switching of the visuals, would love to see videos on that.
Big fan of drillthrough and custom backgrounds. It just makes the report so much more lively. Would be great if there was a marketplace with ready made concepts to import.
Thanks Adam!
I agree with all of the ideas. My favorite one is filter/info menu, where also navigation buttons can be added. It earns space in the dashboard. I'd also add a title bar. Thanks for the content Adam!
Possibly my favorite video yet. What a great video on recommended actions to improve your reports.
Amazing! Please do a video on the info panel, it’s very informative. Great job as always
Tool tips and button bookmarks !! simply superb!! More insight full than ever!! Thanks for the ideas!!
Wow - this is the answer to my recent issue of what to show users! They want so much but in so many different ways, this solves that completely!! Thanks so much for being awesome!
the info panel and the slicers panel are awesoooome!!!! all are great tips
Fantastic!!! Excellent as always!!! Great, I'm starting with PBI and I love the drilldown stuff!!
This was great! Most PBI wideos that I come across are how do handle data, writte measures, make data modesl. This one showed the artistic side od PBI and storyteling with data, and I already know that ad least two will be implemented in my reports :D Much thanks!
Excellent and compact video. Learned a lot!!! Thank you!!!
Lots of great ideas Adam! Thank you!!
Great tips! especially the conditional drill through and switching between visuals
Yes!! Surely would like to see video of the info panel and decomposition too!!
This was awesome! Your video really makes me excited to learn PowerBI!
Great tips, always learning new things every day, great job guys
Super cool ! Thanks! I subscribed!
Heck yeah for the info panel video!!! 😁
Awesome video. Thanks!
Would love to see video on panel concept. Its amazing! Great work as always☺️
On custom backgrounds, I’ve just reverted away from having different colour page background to a visual’s background. It makes spacing much harder as you have to be pixel perfect and even then viewing on the service sometimes screws the display up slightly.
I would love to see a video on the info panel. That is bonkers
What a weird way to spell BANANAS 😅😂
Info panel would be awesome!! Tutorial would be cool
That info button is awesome. Never thought of that. I've always displayed information of pages on static pages on different tabs!
Great to see those changing visuals and buttons control drill through
Looking forward for your detailed video on how to create those options including info menu
Brutal!!! Thanks for sharing 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Wow what a wonderful tutorial! Thank you!!!
wow! that is so cool!! Nice one Adam!
Muy buenas ideas para aplicar, muchas gracias por la información.
I really love that info panel concept. That's really bananas!
Really got more insight from this . Nice video 👍
Superb ideas, Adam! I'd love to see a video on info panel
Yes! The info panel is cool!
It's like PowerPoint and Access had a baby!! Thank you very much for these videos, I'm putting them to use as quickly as possible and thank you again.
Loved this video, yes I would love the Info panel... did you do a video on that?
Info Panel! Heck yeah! Great video!
Thank you 🙏 for sharing, did you have tutorials how do to drill through that will bring me to the next tab in the power bi report.
Nice ideas, thank you
Really useful stuff! thanks for this. Would love to see a video on how ot use overlays in PowerBI
Nice ideas!!! Thaaank you! :)
Great video, I would like to see more tips and even a playlist with great reports we can use as inspiration
I really like your videos. Thanks and iv just hit the sub button
Hi guys!! I really like the way you show us all the knowledge you have. BIG THANKS UP!! 🙂
We appreciate that! Thanks for watching! 👊
Magnificent! Thanks a lot for great ideas.
Is it possible to have that default showcase report to follow up through your videos on?
Thanks anyway!
Some great tips there, thank you. I couldn't understand how and why tooltips aid performance by deferring execution of certain things e.g. page load, though.
Love it, like always! 💯
Video on info panel please!
That info pane feature is amazing!
Info panel is super awesome! I often find myself thinking like "how come you don't know how to read or use that chart!". But yeah, just like Steve Pinker says that when we have the knowledge, it is almost unimaginable to understand why people can't understand.
Fantastic!!!!!
Great approach!
Please do a video on conditional drill through and I’d love to see how you did the decomposition! I do a few of these, but not as well thought out as yours!
Fully agree! it was awsome 😀
The use of bookmarks has been super useful for me, but I didn't know that you could implement drill-through with a button!
Great ideas!
Excellent ideas 🙂👍
I really like the Info Panel idea. Would love to see a video on it!!
Really like your content! Would you be able to do a video on the story telling perspective or UX side of Power BI?
I really love your channel. greetings from Dominican republic 💫
Love that info panel ...
yes! like to see the video on the info Panel Adam! great ideas
Info panel and buttons were interesting!
Yep, would love to see an info panel! Alot my users aren't technically minded, so would really help.
Great tips!
Fabulous! Man you rock!!!)))
Awesome 🔥🔥🎉🎉
Definitely would like a video on the info panel!
Hi! great video, could you pls create a video for the info panel. It will be really helpful
Thanks!
Great ideas
Thanks for yet another great video. Have a question at 5:58. Is it possible to hide all others options (Options - Include, Exclude, Show data as table etc) except "Drill Through" on right click?
Great video !
Doing the info vid will be great!
Just pressed the subscribe button.
Need more videos on visualisation and presentations tips and tricks.
Info panel is an insane idea !!!!! Great for a service based approach
Really enjoyed this video and the tips on design. It’s amazing how taking the time on design makes an impact on your audience :)
Agreed! Glad you enjoyed it. Did you feel the things that were shown were complicated?
@@GuyInACube I’ve used the report tooltips, the filter slide out, and drill through buttons, they took me a bit to learn and get the setting right. I like them, but my users are not big on drilling beyond a single report page :/ My focus is mainly on a clean logical flow, using that grey background, nice logo etc. That helps to keeps there attention :)
That tooltip is dope, I norm use smart narrative in mines to show custom info about each data point. But how do you get the changing images and different fonts would love to see a video about it.
Hi Adam those tip/tricks with the bookmarks were Bananas!! Do u have any videos explaining on how to do that? Thanks in advance!
Simples e objetivo 😍
Cool. Please make a video on info panel, also I want to know drill through a button
i really like your videos, which version of Adventure works are you using to visualize this data as I would like to use it for training purposes.
Great video! I would add to put the most important visual at the top of the report page. Use simple visuals that will not require education to understand them. Put more complex visuals on a separate page. It should only take 2-3 seconds to understand a visual on the first page.
Great tip! 👊
Yes. Would like a video on the info panel
Yes, info video please!
The one with question mark was a good one, indeed 🤣 loved it 😊
Amazing tips. Definitely adopting some of these. And I’ll be sure to mention you Adam in my acceptance speech when I get my next promotion :-)
super like on info panel idea. !!
I really love your videos and I was ready to watch you teach us how to do all that you did, but I didn't really get the explanation.
Please help make a video that explains all of these amazing features
Yes please on a video for the info panel!
Big fan, can you help with how to perform earned value analysis and earned schedule analysis using power bi reports
beautiful!
Supporting the idea of info panel video
Hello!
Your videos is amazing! Could you create a video teaching us how to create "First Pass Yield" chart on Power BI?
info panel idea is great idea. would love to see a video of it
Info button is awesome ❤
I learn a lot from both of you.. actually njoying learning PBI..thanks for each of your videos ..waiting for more though 😂
And yes info button is very good idea to use and help user to understand.
But you don't show demo for that
After watching few of your videos I started reading the Russo book and I'm loving it. Just one question: you mention its always good to modify data as closest to the source as possible. Would you say then its better I include a TOTAL row in excel rather than doing in DAX : Sales Amount := SUMX ( Sales, Sales[Quantity] * Sales[Net Price] ) ? Would the answer depend on amount of rows? Thank you so much in advance for this, for sharing your knowledge and for your amazing communication skills.
Great videos. I have report where the purpose is to filter the data down to a relevant subset of the data. Typically this requires the users to apply filters on 3-6 columns, but the relevant columns to filter on are different for different use-cases, but within a list of 40-50 columns. This leads to a large number of potential relevant filter combinations (millions), so applying bookmarks is not an option. Is there a way to let the user select relevant lists from for instance a dropdown list, and then the corresponding sliders are shown to the user?
