    I was able to understand maybe 20 %, which is not much but better than nothing.
    I noticed you used the expressions meaning “in the past” and “but now” (เมื่อก่อน ... แต่ตอนนี้) which you featured in a previous lesson, I was so glad I spotted them without subtitles!
    Looking forward to some more lessons like this one!

    This is great. You should do these more often please :) As you can see by the number of thumbs up, listening is very hard and it's a great practice if you can listen to a normal conversation and then see the subtitles. Awesome! Just one thing, try to put some background for the subtitles next time please because white subtitles on your white outfit are a bit hard to read :) Nice earrings!

    I’m a luuk krueng and I have huge issues with comprehension, what would be best for some absolute beginners is if you had a specific section of videos for this where the dialogue is very slow and shorter with key on vocabulary. There’s a lot of short syllables in Thai so it takes a bit to understand when Thais speak fast. I hope this helps!

    hm, I'm a polish guy and I speak thai everyday with my girlfriend, who doesn't really speak english, so we communicate only in thai. After three years here, I understood almost everything except the part of the cave and the rock climbing, but I just have never encountered those words before. However you both speak so clear that it is very easy to understand you regardless how fast you talk. Sadly I often can't understand thai people because they mumbling or set their voice really deep in their throat (I can't explain in words what I mean), but basically they don't pronounce vowels the way you do. It is really frustrating when I have to ask my girlfriend "what did he/she say?" and she repeats it just so I realize I perfectly know and use those words all the time.
    To sum up - it doesn't matter how long I've learnt and how many words I know, cause in the end - a lot of people here speaks the way that to my European ears, sounds nothing like they taught me in school or my girlfriend. Nevertheless, I'm not giving up

    • @JustMe-vz3wd
      @JustMe-vz3wd 2 года назад

      If you dont want to encounter perverts just stay away from the farangs.
      pickpockets and robberies?? more likely that Thai people will guard your lost bag or bring back your lost phone to you, than that they willl "pickpocket" you. this aint crime infested America here, people still decent here...

    Hello Kruu Mod and Kruu Pear, What level should I start watching listening episodes. I've been at trying to learn thai for about a year but I feel I'm not making much progress. I started on the first episode for improving your listening skill and It all went over my head. I understand a few words I hear but cannot put long sentences together. What do you suggest I do to improve. My frustration level is rising so I'm going to take a break from thai videos
