Black clover has been on a long break since 2021 as it caught up to the manga but it just released a great movie that preformed well on Netflix so it will probably continue once the manga finishes.
Correction, it was never a break, I may be wrong but I'm 99% sure that they never officially said that it's a break because they caught up with the manga, though the new movie did perform well so it most likely will get a season 2/continuation.
@@momomon7662 They pretty much said the same thing Bleach studio's said 10 years ago: it was done for the time being and may/may not come back. The BC movie and fact Bleach's Thousand Year Blood Arc anime seemed popular probably means they'll go for another season or two or compile the ending events of the manga in multiple movies/OVAs if not full on anime series.
Also to hijack the comment with 2 notes on black clover: 1. Many people say it's pretty similar to Naruto, so if you watch and like one, you'll like the other 2. Yes, op 10 is one of the best openings of all time. The visuals (and overall darkness), symbolism, and tone shift of that op compared to the rest of black clover fit what's going on absolutely perfectly. It's always subjective, but that one feels special to me as it's so unique
The thing is that when you watch Black Clover, Black Catcher is in another level. Obviously openings are always better when you watch the show, but Black Catcher is even more than usual. It fits so good with what is happening with the show... wow. I think Black Catcher deserves number 1 for sure in 2020.
Black Catcher is incredible. It’s in my top five of all time and I think it deserves to be in at least the top ten best OPs of all time. The way they cut the song and the visuals they match with the song is perfection. My favourite parts are the glance Yami and Charla give each other and the quick montage of everyone’s pissed off faces.
There were already some GOOD titles in 2020! Here are some small explanations of questions, comments, etc., which I would have liked to have said in person^^: Number 48: The manga for Black Clover is still appearing regularly and chapters are still appearing, but the airing of the anime ended for the time being with episode 170 (Now apart from the fact that a Black Clover film recently came out on Netflix, the storyline of which this end) Number 37: This is "In/spectre" and don't worry, the eye is prosthetic, as is her leg. But it's less action-packed than the opening suggests, where there's a lot of talking instead. Number 33: The anime is simply called “The Misfit of Demon King Academy” for short. Number 27: A real under-the-radar title. Number 25: "Tonikawa: Over The Moon For You" probably the most wholesome anime. Number 19: It actually takes place in London and is, so to speak, a fan fiction about Moriarty, the great antagonist of Sherlock Holmes, where Moriarty is the protagonist. Number 15: It's a manwha (also like manga, a cartoon, just from South Korea) that's called a webtoon because it appears online. Number 09: BNA, short for Brand New Animal. It's from the same animation studio that made the cyberpunk anime. It also happens to be on Netflix. Oh and fun fact: the interpreter of the song is also the voice of the main female protagonist.
@@GOTGames The first one (a certain scientific railgun) which is the + opening, that whole series is called toaru (a certain) series, the main series is called a certain magical Index, originated from a light novel, with railgun being a spinoff of the main series, originated from a manga with same name, and I think you should 100% watch it, peak fiction. You reacted to all of it's openings once so I think you should try watching it.
Re:Zero is a big contender for my top 3 anime, even beating out FMA, and I'm always excited to see everyone's reaction to the first season. I guarantee you it'll be a unique experience, if not a phenomenal one!
Brand New Animal! It is SO good! The intro and outros are both absolute bangers you need to listen to, and the the series should absolutely be on your list to watch, too. It's a one-season anime original following a Tanuki girl escaping from humans to live in the city of animal people. Very stylish, fun characters, the whole nine yards. Top 5 from this list in no particular order: -Brand New Animal (Ready to!) -Tonikawa (Koi no Uta) -Kaguya-sama (Daddy, Daddy, Do) -No Guns Life (Chaos Drifters) -Tower of God (Top)
I agree with every one of these for the top 5. Tonikawa was such a surprise when it came out. I ended up watching the show purely based on how amazing the OP was. I was a bit surprised to see Eizouken so far down the list as I think its easily top 10. BNA was a ton of fun, studio Trigger has such a unique style.
One I'm shocked didn't appear on the list was Akudama Drive. Glad however that Great Pretender, FKBU, YuuMori, Haikyuu!!, Kakushigoto, JJK, and Black Clover all made it on to the list. Yuukoku no Moriarty/Moriarty the Patriot (the anime based in London) is about the crime consultant Moriarty, the antagonist from the Sherlock Holmes novels. Only this version has Moriarty as the protagonist. It's a great show and the OPs and EDs are all fantastic. The OP used in this video is sung by the VA Hatanaka Tasuku who voiced Reeves in AoT. My recs: (last four are donghua, Chinese animation) Kizuato from Given Renegade from Gangsta. Deal With from Servamp Dying Wish from Moriarty the Patriot Fukagyaku Replace from Nobunaga Concerto (band is MY FIRST STORY whose singer, Hiro, is Taka's [from ONE OK ROCK] little brother) STEAL!! from Akudama Drive Shufu no Michi from The Way of the Househusband No Separation from Heaven Official’s Blessing Drunken Dreams of the Past from Mo Dao Zu Shi Dive Back In Time from LINK CLICK OverThink from LINK CLICK
Dorohedoro has some of my favorite anime songs of all time. Would love to see more reactions to both the songs and the anime itself. There's way too few reaction channels covering it so far.
Yes, Black Clover is still ongoing however the anime has been on pause since March 2021. Black Clover has 170 episodes and just released a movie so it isn't as big as other shows and the anime is set to come back from break sometime soon.
Kingdom is an awesome anime and I think it really is a hidden gem. It's got 4 seasons with a fifth on the way and 6 catchy anime openings. Definitely worth a reaction
Nah man kingdom manga is one of the greatest manga of all time but anime misses out hard tbh with bad CGI,less impactful actions shown, leaves out many things from manga
2:40 That wan was "Toilet-bound Hanako-kun" (don't look at the bad English title). Awesome series with the most unique art style that I've ever seen. At first, it looks like a rom-com but slowly it's getting more dark and psychological. It has 12 episodes, but this year there will be a reboot of this series (the fastest one in the history of anime, only 3 years) because the studio screw up the timelines a little bit and skipped a pretty important ark, so they couldn't make season 2. Manga is still ongoing and it ranked 7th with the most sold out volumes in Japan in 2020.
@@hellsbane666 Going with Railgun first is the best experience because of Sisters arc being done a lot better compared to Index. And overall it just has better quality.
The one set in London Moriarty the Patriot is amazing. It's based on Sherlock Holmes from the perspective of his greatest villain Moriarty and I love it so much❤❤❤
Yes, you should definitely react to the opening of Dorohedoro, but even moreso to the endings. They are all very interesting and unique in their own way, and the the most interesting and fun part about it would honestly be to see you try and figure what the anime is about just from watching them. On that noe I also recommend you give the anime itself a shot at some point because it also quite unique and interesting in it's own right, and with only 12 episode currently it's also not as big of a time investment as a lot of other anime would be.
ANOTHER favourite anime of mine in this list is yuukoku no moriarty! which you were right abt it being in london lol its basically a retelling of sherlock holmes from moriarty's perspective and it is so, so *SO* good! the ops are bangers and the tension between sherlock and moriarty are. uh. there. btw james bond is also in the anime.
Op 19 is from a anime about Moriarty the villan from Sherlock holmes but from his view its a great anime and would love to see a reaction to the full God of Highschool opening 10:55
YES! YES! I was waiting for this one! Golden Kamuy and Dorohedoro are both top tier, I'm so happy that this list ranked them both so highly! it's the truth!! Golden Kamuy has just wrapped it's fourth season, and I can safely say that the series has only escalated in terms of insanity. like, legit I'm not sure how they aired some of this. but it also 100% maintains its quality, I'm addicted to it. the plot has been so intriguing, and I'm so invested in the characters... I know it doesn't perform well for views... Semblance of Sanity is currently doing a reaction series that goes for about 20k views per episode within a week... idk, I'm not picky about how, I just want it to get seen because I've enjoyed it so much, and I do wish that upon others. open message to anyone who sees this comment: try out Golden Kamuy. it's nutty from the start, but you won't even understand quite how much until the latter half of the first season... and then the beginning of season 2 is like... no longer firing warning shots. but yeah, the story takes some setup, since it's one of those spiderwebbed interconnected plots, but it absolutely delivers. and Dorohedoro is one that I've been recommending for a while... I'm so glad it got to turn up here! it has one opening and six endings, and they're all excellent! I really want you to hear the music and see the aesthetic of this show, it's so good. the plot... I will avoid trying to explain at this point in time. I can give an overview upon request later, but this show is weird even by anime standards. like, it is not leaning into the usual region of weird that anime puts forth. this is a special kind of weird. my kind of weird tbh, I love this. also, in the case of both these shows: shoutout to anime that is about adults. as an adult, I like getting my hands on those when I can. obviously no shade at anime that's about teens, but it's really fun to see all the goofy shenanigans that anime lends itself to, applied to a story that has some maturity to it. like... I know these characters have worked jobs before, or pay taxes, or evade paying taxes, or like... conduct their lives with adult problems to consider. it's refreshing.
4:06 Yes. Her eye popped out, but it's a glass eye. She is missing an eye and a leg, and has prosthetics in their place. Kyuko Suiri (english title In:Spectre) is actually great fun.
9:53 Moriarty the Patriot! Yes, it does take place in London! It's an alternate take on the Sherlock Holmes series where the characters and some of the tales covered in the anime/manga are their own unique versions inspired by the original material. I haven't seen the show but I've heard good things about it and the manga was pretty good!! From what I know, the openings are pretty good too so I do recommend checking this series out as well!
BNA really does have a fantastic opening. Pretty good show too, not anything crazy, but it's a fun, short watch My top 5 are probably 1. Black Catcher 2. Daddy Daddy doo 3. dual existence 4. Kaikai Kitan 5. final phase (I am a sucker for the Railgun openings and I forgot what openings were released that year, If I rewatched the video and kept track of what openings showed up then the list might change XD)
YES 9:05 Id:Invaded (mr beast said it was one of his favourite animes) a short one youd really like.. that will Keep you Always guessing till the end.. short and sweet completed story.
I can see that you're so into the historical and war anime. Kingdoms: Takes place during the era of Warring States in China Golden Kamuy: Takes place during Russo-Japanese war.
5:56 is one of my top 5 anime opening and Assault Lily Bouquet is about fighting a beast called "Huge"suddenly appeared all over the world, posing an existential threat to humanity. To defend against these menaces, soldiers in the form of teenage girls known as "Lilies" use the energy "Magie" within their bodies to power weapons called "Counter Huge ARMS" or "CHARMS."
The one with the long ass name is The Misfit of Demon King Academy. It's pretty good. The openings are awesome. Season 2 starts back up again this month.
My top 5 from 2020, huh? Well, it would probably look like this: 1. A Certain Scientific Railgun - final phase 2. The God of High School - Contradiction 3. Re:ZERO - Realize 4. Jujutsu Kaisen - Kaikai Kitan 5. Princess Connect Re:Dive - Lost Princess (not in this video)
2019 had Dr Stone, The Promised Neverland, Fire Force, My Hero season 4 and Demon Slayer. That’s a hell of a lineup and one of the best sets of OPs. I had completely forgotten that Black Catcher was in 2020 and it absolutely deserves it. It is one of the best anime OPe ever recorded.
I recommend checking out full version to the opening and ending of BNA (number 9 from the video), both are amazingly good and they get even better in the full versions. Also I would put personally both put opening and the ending as the best ones from 2020.
BNA (Brand new animal) is a very nice series and feels well placed in the list. Both OP and ED are cool. You should check them in regular version. Not top 5 material, but A few OPs I would have chosen in the list: Maoujou de Oyasumi (Sleepy princess in the demon castle) Majo no Tabitabi Nekopara Azur Lane Ishuzoku Reviewers (visuals are NSFW)
5:25 that's what we call a modern light novel title, my friend. these days a lot of light novel authors feel the need to throw an entire plot elevator pitch into the title.
For sports animes for beginners I always recommend these 4: -Hajime no Ippo (about boxing) -Haikyuu (about volleyball) -Slam Dunk (about basketball) -Kuroko no Basket ( also about basketball)
Very excited to hear you are going to watch Re:Zero next cause it is one of my favorite more recent series and I also read the Light Novel as well. Glad to see it on the list in the top 20 and Jujutsu Kaisen in the top 10. Although it was low on the list was nice to see Food Wars on the list there!
I’m here again to request a reaction to the openings of The World God Only Knows. 😅 But yeah, they are really great and the full versions are also amazing (fair warning the first opening full is 8-9 minutes and the third full is 13 minutes if you decide to check the full versions out) Also another suggestion is The World’s Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated As An Aristocrat opening
It’s a fun nostalgia trip, going back through these compilations. Looking forward to 2019, 2018, etc, lol! Also putting in my Ergo Proxy opening recommendation!
BNA (Brand New Animal) is a Trigger Studio production, the guys who did Guren Lagann, Kill la Kill, Darling in the Franxx and recently Cyberpunk). Not their top, but still a decent original anime.
2:22 The title in English is "Toilet-bound Hanako-kun." Weird name, I know, but it refers to a Japanese urban legend that's a little like the "Bloody Mary" urban legend in Western culture.
Still can't recommend the openings for Tonikaku kawaii, or Tonikawa, enough, I think it might win on twitch soon considering it's gotten into the poll and done well a few times, but still, they're amazing. Kinda sad to see it at 25 here tbh, would have loved to see it higher.
Kingdom is fairly solid anime if you want to learn Chinese history. The only problem is that S1 was well a CG horror fest but S2 onwards is fairly solid. Not the best animated show around but the characters and the story are crafted very well. It's very focused on large scale battles and politics with several factions making moves to try and unite the seven kingdoms. The original source is amazing and hugely popular which is why S5 is in production despite no-one in the west really talking about it.
Oh you would be surprised just how many animes are set in the UK. One of the most featured countries because of how influential British culture is. So many notable animes have been set here: Black Butler, Hell sing, the movie of k on!, Little Witch academia, several of the fate animes such as Fate/stay night and Fate Unlimeted Blade works, the Ancient Magus Bride and that's only counting the most notable ones.
These are the animes I would reccomend you to check out the openings & endings Terror in resonance Seraph of the end Erased Summertime rendering Re:hamatora Darling in franxx Dorohedoro God of high school
You should read the Kingdom Manga, it's one of the most popular manga out there in japan. But it didnt get the anime adaptation it deserves. Still good but the 3D Can put you a little off so...
Yesss kingdom! The manga is absolute art. The anime is freaking cool as well, especially in season 3-4. Kingdom season 3 is my anime of the year in 2020
6:55 and *Kingdom IS TOTALLY AWESOME* And Black Catcher deserves that #1 spot for sure, the whole opening is amazing, from starting piano, to hype music to animation
Omg so happy Moriarty the Patriot is on this list! It is such an underrated show in my opinion. Would love to see you react to their openings. Theres 2 I believe and two endinds
Number 33 (the one with the really long title) is: The Misfit of Demon King Academy: History's Strongest Demon King Reincarnates and Goes to School with His Descendants Mostly just known as The Misfit of Demon King Academy. Half of season 2 is out, the other half got delayed by Covid and I've heard season 2 will start airing again, from the first episode, soon. (Haven't seen season 2 yet since I prefer to watch after the full season is out, but season one I liked, especially the opening.) 23 is The Irregular at Magic Highschool, which has multiple seasons and a related show: The Honor at Magic High School. (As in honor student I think.) I've seen part of Irregular but I'm not sure I've seen all of it or the Honor series. I will be going back watch all of it at some point.
10:06 it's an anime about Moriarty (Sherlock Holmes enemy) and of course in this anime Sherlock appears too 😉 Btw, #4 opening was composed by the same guy that did all the soundtrack for Attack on Titan 🤩
4:12 yes her eye popped out but it’s a fake eye, the anime is kyokou suiri aka Invented Inference or localized in English as In/spectre is about a girl being deified as the one leg and one eye god of wisdom for spirits and ghost resulting in her having one of eye removed and leg amputated when she was young, she basically uses her wits to help solve troubles that ghost and spirits requires her assistance for but also enlist the help of her boyfriend the protagonist who also has ties to the supernatural since he was young please react to all 5 symphogear openings and the 2 opening for its mobile game
The No guns life OP you really liked is a collaboration between Hiroyuki Sawano (composer of aot music) and the singer of MAN WITH A MISSION ! Please check more of Sawano's work with other singers ! They're awesome
9:45 I do highly encourage having a choice once in a while. The majority will always go for the most popular ones at the moment which means some may get buried. I do think SAO is a tad bit overhated. Sure, I do have some issues with the first few seasons but I think the writing got better and there's definitely a lot worse out there, people just didn't give it a chance.
Black Clover just came out with a movie that wrapped up what was happening in the anime. The manga is still going, but there's not enough to make a new season of just yet. Same with Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, which you need to react to still 😊.
Please do a reaction to the openings and endings of: 1. Horimiya 2. Tonikawa: Over The Moon For You 3. Recovery of an MMO Junkie 4. Wotakoi: It's Hard Loving an Otaku and 5. The Saint's Magic Power is Omnipotent These are some of the best romance anime in my oppinion that you haven't reacted to the openings and endings of!!! Bonus 1: Happy Sugar Life(This one is very fun!!!) Bonus 2: In/Spectre(Kinda romance, but mostly mystery) Bonus 3: The Irregular at Magic High School(Not romance, but still amazing) Bonus 4: Knights & Magic(Big robots in medevil-type setting) Bonus 5: Tsukimichi ~Moonlit Fantasy~(Again not romance, but still amazing) I only meant for this to be a list of 5 romance aime but got carried away If you want I could even send a document with a list of about 91 of my favorites. Some you have seen, some you have reacted to the openings of, and most you might not have heard of, but all of these are on that list.
From some anime I watched in 2020 I would've added "Take mo' Chance" by all at once (op for 'Boku no Tonari ni Ankoku Hakaishin ga Imasu' or 'A Destructive God Sits Next to Me'), 'Needle Knot' by The Pinballs (op for Ikebukuro West Gate Park), 'Steal!' by Spark!!Sound!!Show!! (op for Akudama Drive), 'Legendary Future' by fripside, and 'Eclipse' by Dreamcatcher (both op are from King's Raid) to the list. I might even add 'Shoujo no Route Hitotsu Janai' by angela (op from Hamefura).
I absolutely love these reactions to anime openings from past seasons, it reminds me of bangers from past years like the opening to id:invaded. Also, there are still some banger openings from animes you haven't yet reacted to out there, a few would be: March comes in like a lion (ops + endings, all are excellent) Chihayafuru Silver spoon (ops + ed are all vibes) Hibike euphonium Eureka seven Long comment I know, but I'd love to see you react to some of these!
Legend of Arslan has one banger ending. But Period from FMA:B is top notch, and you'll hear that later during your reactions. Other honorable mentions are Brave Shine from Fate. Mission Health Comes First from Cells at Work, and my go to pre-work amp up; Red Fraction from Black Lagoon.
Munou Na Nana (Talentless Nana) is a really cool anime that completely starts off insane with a good hook . The priority of the anime is mystery and manipulation. Not enough love or popularity backed from it, but it is an underrated gem, love for you to check it out one day
Kingdom is really really good. Based on a real character, it's set in the time of chinas warring kingdoms. The story follows a young guy who rises from a peasant nobody to a general controlling whole armies. It is gruesome, with a lot of blood lots of heated emotions but also very cold strategy. It focuses a lot on war tactics, but it switches between battles being played out on the board and the real warfare. It shows what it really means to sacrifice your left wing to win a battle. The emotions of the soldiers who finally realize what is going on and how they come to accept the situation they are in, which only has certain death as an outcome. Shin(the mc) always leads his troops into the battle himself. He aspires to be a great general as the one he followed into his first battlefield when he was just a normal foot soldier. Season 1 is almost none of this. It focuses on Shins childhood, how he rescues and befriends a prince, how they make him the King and how he promises him to be the great general that unites all of China under his crown. Man, the story is so good, the politics is astounding, the chracters are superb and somehow it is still based around real history. Heavy recommendation. This is really an underrated hidden not just gem, but a diamond. (Btw season 1 has a lot of CGI which many see as ugly (me included). The animation and art from season 2 onwards though is just muah *chefs kiss*. So you gotta sit through it unfortunatley. The story is sill superb so it ain't that bad, if you get used to it/ ignore it.)
Kingdom is a good story taking place in the waring states of China. It follows the story of a Slave who finds his way out of Slavery, into the military and pursuing the dream of becoming the best general ever. First season has a very rough 3d animation style but it is still a great story with awesome characters.
Black Clover is on hiatus at the moment said to have a movie to continue where it left off in the series, the show is currently up to 172 episodes so far.
The best anime opening for me from 2020 is the one by Appare Ranman. the anime is not well known but the opening is pretty good and also the ending left such a good Texas feeling.
Kingdom... OMG, is so underrated masterpiece. Watch as our hero grows and turns from an ordinary ragamuffin into a general with perfectly crafted characters
That weird looking anime in number 50 was one of my favorites from that year. "Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken!" It's an anime that's literally about the process behind making anime, and it goes into some crazy visuals while very imaginative animators work to turn their daydreams into reality. Great, comfy, wholesome show overall.
On this list the anime I watch to the end are: Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun, Kakushigoto, Munou na Nana, Kyokou Suiri, Higurashi Gou, and Fugou Keiji Balance Unlimited. -Kakushigoto is great! It's really funny with a hint of drama. -Munou na Nana has a good OP but it's spoilers. Like it played at the end of episode 1 and it feels like it might ruin the surprise if you saw the OP video before you even see the first episode. -To explain the Kyokou Suiri question: yes, that's her prosthetic eye that popped out. She has a prosthetic leg, too. -Fugou Keiji Balance Unlimited has good OP and ED. The show is also pretty fun! Imagine a really rich guy solving cases with money. -I haven't watched Yuukoku no Moriarty yet but it's on my to watch list. It's based on Sherlock Holmes. -Tower of God, Noblesse, and The God of Highschool are based on Korean webcomics.
Tonilkawa over the moon op was so unexpectedly amazing please check it out! op2 is good too! I can't remember how many anime came out in 2020 way more then before! I still need to watch them. My top 5 of 2020 is, 1.Tower of God (love the manhwa and the anime was really good) 2.God of highschool (the insane beat drop is everything) 3.Tonikawa over the moon (unexpectedly amazing just insane op there was no reason for them to go that hard but they did it anyway) 4.SAO WotU the nostalgia is something else on that one. 5.Pet dunno why it feels like I am the only one that watched this anime (cuz Tk why not?)
My top 4 of animes and songs of 2020 are definitely: 1# Fire Force Season 2 Opening 2 2# Kaguya-sama Daddy! Daddy! Do! 3# Re:Zero 4# Isekai Quartet 2 🫡
Haikyuu is a great entry way into sports anime. There are a ton of sports anime out there like Prince of Tennis, Free, and Eyeshield 21. The most abundant of which being about baseball. Some that come to mind right away are "Major", "Princess Nine", and "Ace of the Diamond" as well as my favorites "Mix" and "Cross Game". The opening for Cross Game, "Summer Rain" always brings me back to my junior and high school summers. Unfortunately, Cross Game isn't available on legal streaming services anymore, though.

Also to hijack the comment with 2 notes on black clover:
1. Many people say it's pretty similar to Naruto, so if you watch and like one, you'll like the other
2. Yes, op 10 is one of the best openings of all time. The visuals (and overall darkness), symbolism, and tone shift of that op compared to the rest of black clover fit what's going on absolutely perfectly. It's always subjective, but that one feels special to me as it's so unique
Ah okay! It's one that whenever I see anything from it, it always looks awesome!
Dorohedoro is an amazing show with great op and unique endings! BTW still no reaction to Shadows House ED1 WAT!!!???
The thing is that when you watch Black Clover, Black Catcher is in another level. Obviously openings are always better when you watch the show, but Black Catcher is even more than usual. It fits so good with what is happening with the show... wow. I think Black Catcher deserves number 1 for sure in 2020.

There were already some GOOD titles in 2020!
Here are some small explanations of questions, comments, etc., which I would have liked to have said in person^^:
Number 48: The manga for Black Clover is still appearing regularly and chapters are still appearing, but the airing of the anime ended for the time being with episode 170 (Now apart from the fact that a Black Clover film recently came out on Netflix, the storyline of which this end)
Number 37: This is "In/spectre" and don't worry, the eye is prosthetic, as is her leg.
I'm not the biggset fan of slice-of-life romance, I've only watched like 15-20 of them, but ToniKawa was easily one of the best ones, if not THE best.
Appreciate this! Thank you!
Exactly. Re: Zero was my favourite anime for like 4 years straight. It's now tied at 1st place with Made in Abyss
That one set in London is actually a Sherlock Holmes anime, just from the perspective of his archenemy Moriarty. Worth reacting to the OPs & EDs
1. Black Catcher
2. Daddy Daddy Do
3. Koi No Uta (Tonikakku)
4. Last Chapter (Food Wars)
5. Boku No Sensou (AOT)
Top 5 from this list in no particular order:
-Brand New Animal (Ready to!)
-Tonikawa (Koi no Uta)
-Kaguya-sama (Daddy, Daddy, Do)
-No Guns Life (Chaos Drifters)
-Tower of God (Top)
Das hier ^^
Luke has to check the thing at some point! It's mandatory!! :DDD
BNA perfectly replicated the Kill La Kill model, and can get away with it, since they had so much cast in common.
@@Tatersalad666 It's hard to top 5 this list, Chelmico's song for Eizouken is easily top 5 for me, too.
Tower of God really is an awesome one that I haven't heard much about the anime itself
Golden Kamuy is a gem indeed! pls react to its openings
please do dorohedoro op and eds, they are all done by the same people and are so awesome
My recs: (last four are donghua, Chinese animation)
Kizuato from Given
Renegade from Gangsta.
Deal With from Servamp
Dying Wish from Moriarty the Patriot
Fukagyaku Replace from Nobunaga Concerto (band is MY FIRST STORY whose singer, Hiro, is Taka's [from ONE OK ROCK] little brother)
STEAL!! from Akudama Drive
Shufu no Michi from The Way of the Househusband
No Separation from Heaven Official’s Blessing
Drunken Dreams of the Past from Mo Dao Zu Shi
Dive Back In Time from LINK CLICK
OverThink from LINK CLICK
Dorohedoro has some of my favorite anime songs of all time. Would love to see more reactions to both the songs and the anime itself. There's way too few reaction channels covering it so far.
👀👀👀 Sunday... 👀👀👀
@@GOTGames *Shocking!* Great news! 👍
I need to see "a certain scientific railgun" or "assassination classroom" to win the anime tournament polls, such good animes man
Oh yeah Railgun is a really dope anime, especially season 2.
Gotta start with "a certain magical index" then "a certain scientific railgun" then "a certain scientific accelerator"
@@hellsbane666 Going with Railgun first is the best experience because of Sisters arc being done a lot better compared to Index. And overall it just has better quality.
holy shit yes true, how has he not reacted to AClass openings
Kakushigoto was one of the best anime I have seen, and the OP is fire 🔥
Munou na Nana was fun as well !
Talk about an underrated anime. It truly was amazing. It was one huge kick in the feels.
The one set in London Moriarty the Patriot is amazing. It's based on Sherlock Holmes from the perspective of his greatest villain Moriarty and I love it so much❤❤❤
the BNA opening is the most fire shit i've heard in a minute
Ready to by Michiru Kagemori is such a nice upbeat piece of music
Do Dorohedoro pls
Yes, you should definitely react to the opening of Dorohedoro, but even moreso to the endings. They are all very interesting and unique in their own way, and the the most interesting and fun part about it would honestly be to see you try and figure what the anime is about just from watching them.
On that noe I also recommend you give the anime itself a shot at some point because it also quite unique and interesting in it's own right, and with only 12 episode currently it's also not as big of a time investment as a lot of other anime would be.
👀👀 might be recorded
@@GOTGames Awesome! Can't wait to watch it!
Ahh!! I LOVE Moriarty the Patriot (Yuukoku no Moriarty)!!❤💙 Both the op & anime are soo good (at least imo). Even op 2 & season 2 are 🤩
I agree! I even read the manga!
I think 2019 was probably the best year of anime openings, there were some absolute bangers
🔥🔥🔥
ANOTHER favourite anime of mine in this list is yuukoku no moriarty! which you were right abt it being in london lol its basically a retelling of sherlock holmes from moriarty's perspective and it is so, so *SO* good! the ops are bangers and the tension between sherlock and moriarty are. uh. there.
btw james bond is also in the anime.
YES! This is so cool anime..
Golden Kamuy is an anime I keep hearing great things about! Definitely one I want to check out 💯
@@GOTGames thank you, even just for the consideration! I really appreciate the work you put in on all of this. ^_^
Ah, fellow golden kamuy appreciator, thank you for getting the word out 🙌
@@ayoshi5616 gladly! it's seriously one of my favorite anime ever 😁
Pretty good show too, not anything crazy, but it's a fun, short watch
My top 5 are probably
1. Black Catcher
2. Daddy Daddy doo
3. dual existence
4. Kaikai Kitan
5. final phase
(I am a sucker for the Railgun openings and I forgot what openings were released that year, If I rewatched the video and kept track of what openings showed up then the list might change XD)
6:41 That anime titled "Kingdom" if you like massive n epic middle age war battles then you might like it..
But I suggest that the anime Vinland Saga should be higher priority on your watch list than Kingdom in this genre..
YES 9:05 Id:Invaded (mr beast said it was one of his favourite animes) a short one youd really like.. that will Keep you Always guessing till the end.. short and sweet completed story.
I can see that you're so into the historical and war anime.
Kingdoms: Takes place during the era of Warring States in China
Golden Kamuy: Takes place during Russo-Japanese war.
1:27 the manga and the anime are still ongoing and they even released a movie a few weeks ago, it has 170 ep and i really recommend it
yeah Kingdom is awesome. It ranks in the top 10 highest selling manga in Japan every year for good reason
All the songs that you went "WTF WAS THAT ONE?!?" You should totally check out the full versions of!
10:05
Not just based on London. That is sherlock Holmes anime
My top 5 from 2020, huh?
Well, it would probably look like this:
1. A Certain Scientific Railgun - final phase
2. The God of High School - Contradiction
3. Re:ZERO - Realize
4. Jujutsu Kaisen - Kaikai Kitan
I recommend listening to the beautiful opening and ending. Opening is called "Kings", and it is performed by Angela and ending of Tsumetai Heya Hitori
BNA (Brand new animal) is a very nice series and feels well placed in the list. Both OP and ED are cool. You should check them in regular version.
Not top 5 material, but A few OPs I would have chosen in the list:
Maoujou de Oyasumi (Sleepy princess in the demon castle)
Majo no Tabitabi
Nekopara
Azur Lane
Ishuzoku Reviewers (visuals are NSFW)
5:25 that's what we call a modern light novel title, my friend. these days a lot of light novel authors feel the need to throw an entire plot elevator pitch into the title.
This video is so nostalgic for me, i got reminded of a bunch of animes i watched back then
For sports animes for beginners I always recommend these 4:
-Hajime no Ippo (about boxing)
-Haikyuu (about volleyball)
-Slam Dunk (about basketball)
-Kuroko no Basket ( also about basketball)
Very excited to hear you are going to watch Re:Zero next cause it is one of my favorite more recent series and I also read the Light Novel as well. Glad to see it on the list in the top 20 and Jujutsu Kaisen in the top 10. Although it was low on the list was nice to see Food Wars on the list there!
I’m here again to request a reaction to the openings of The World God Only Knows. 😅
But yeah, they are really great and the full versions are also amazing (fair warning the first opening full is 8-9 minutes and the third full is 13 minutes if you decide to check the full versions out)
Also another suggestion is The World’s Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated As An Aristocrat opening
Oh my list 🔥
Black Catcher is definitely #1 to me on this list
It’s a fun nostalgia trip, going back through these compilations. Looking forward to 2019, 2018, etc, lol!
Also putting in my Ergo Proxy opening recommendation!
BNA (Brand New Animal) is a Trigger Studio production, the guys who did Guren Lagann, Kill la Kill, Darling in the Franxx and recently Cyberpunk). Not their top, but still a decent original anime.
Please consider dorohedoro opening AND ending they're so good, I blasted them all the time in highschool they hit so hard!❤
Ahh 2020, this bring back lots of memory . The rise of anime era .
2:22 The title in English is "Toilet-bound Hanako-kun." Weird name, I know, but it refers to a Japanese urban legend that's a little like the "Bloody Mary" urban legend in Western culture.
wierd but entartaining and drawn in very interesting style
Still can't recommend the openings for Tonikaku kawaii, or Tonikawa, enough, I think it might win on twitch soon considering it's gotten into the poll and done well a few times, but still, they're amazing. Kinda sad to see it at 25 here tbh, would have loved to see it higher.
i was thinking the same thing, i cant believe its at 25 its such a good opening
That song would definitely be in the top 10 if it was me
Kingdom is fairly solid anime if you want to learn Chinese history.
The manga is a million times better. We all know Luke is going to get into manga one day, so he should wait and read the Kingdom manga then
solid? TF you talking about, that anime ist gold!
Kingdom is literally one for thhe greatest manga to exist🗿
Also the best war anime/manga in fiction
Quality is bad but man story line of the kingdom anime is the best war anime I ever what and i fuc** love the manga
It looked really awesome! I'd be up for it 💯
Moriarty The Patriot is such a gem ❤
Oh you would be surprised just how many animes are set in the UK. One of the most featured countries because of how influential British culture is. So many notable animes have been set here: Black Butler, Hell sing, the movie of k on!, Little Witch academia, several of the fate animes such as Fate/stay night and Fate Unlimeted Blade works, the Ancient Magus Bride and that's only counting the most notable ones.
Top 1 would have been “Spare Me Great Lord” opening. In fact, it’s my favourite anime opening of all time. It did come out in 2021 though.
These are the animes I would reccomend you to check out the openings & endings
Terror in resonance
Seraph of the end
Erased
Summertime rendering
Re:hamatora
Darling in franxx
Dorohedoro
God of high school
You should read the Kingdom Manga, it's one of the most popular manga out there in japan. But it didnt get the anime adaptation it deserves. Still good but the 3D Can put you a little off so...
You can't go wrong with Kingdom
Yesss kingdom! The manga is absolute art. The anime is freaking cool as well, especially in season 3-4. Kingdom season 3 is my anime of the year in 2020
6:55 and *Kingdom IS TOTALLY AWESOME*
And Black Catcher deserves that #1 spot for sure, the whole opening is amazing, from starting piano, to hype music to animation
Omg so happy Moriarty the Patriot is on this list! It is such an underrated show in my opinion. Would love to see you react to their openings. Theres 2 I believe and two endinds
Number 33 (the one with the really long title) is:
The Misfit of Demon King Academy: History's Strongest Demon King Reincarnates and Goes to School with His Descendants
Mostly just known as The Misfit of Demon King Academy.
Half of season 2 is out, the other half got delayed by Covid and I've heard season 2 will start airing again, from the first episode, soon. (Haven't seen season 2 yet since I prefer to watch after the full season is out, but season one I liked, especially the opening.)
23 is The Irregular at Magic Highschool, which has multiple seasons and a related show: The Honor at Magic High School. (As in honor student I think.) I've seen part of Irregular but I'm not sure I've seen all of it or the Honor series. I will be going back watch all of it at some point.
10:06 it's an anime about Moriarty (Sherlock Holmes enemy) and of course in this anime Sherlock appears too 😉
Btw, #4 opening was composed by the same guy that did all the soundtrack for Attack on Titan 🤩
The Kingdom manga is incredible, but the anime didn't really live up to the manga *until* season 3. Finally, it popped off
4:12 yes her eye popped out but it’s a fake eye, the anime is kyokou suiri aka Invented Inference or localized in English as In/spectre is about a girl being deified as the one leg and one eye god of wisdom for spirits and ghost resulting in her having one of eye removed and leg amputated when she was young, she basically uses her wits to help solve troubles that ghost and spirits requires her assistance for but also enlist the help of her boyfriend the protagonist who also has ties to the supernatural since he was young
please react to all 5 symphogear openings and the 2 opening for its mobile game
0:56 EIZOUKEN! YOU GOTTA WATCH IT THE ANIMATION IS AMAZING
Kingdom is one of the Greatest war manga/anime
Black Clover just came out with a movie that wrapped up what was happening in the anime. The manga is still going, but there's not enough to make a new season of just yet. Same with Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, which you need to react to still 😊.
Please do a reaction to the openings and endings of:
1. Horimiya
2. Tonikawa: Over The Moon For You
3. Recovery of an MMO Junkie
4. Wotakoi: It's Hard Loving an Otaku
and
5. The Saint's Magic Power is Omnipotent
These are some of the best romance anime in my oppinion that you haven't reacted to the openings and endings of!!!
Bonus 1: Happy Sugar Life(This one is very fun!!!)
Bonus 2: In/Spectre(Kinda romance, but mostly mystery)
Bonus 3: The Irregular at Magic High School(Not romance, but still amazing)
Bonus 4: Knights & Magic(Big robots in medevil-type setting)
Bonus 5: Tsukimichi ~Moonlit Fantasy~(Again not romance, but still amazing)
I only meant for this to be a list of 5 romance aime but got carried away
If you want I could even send a document with a list of about 91 of my favorites. Some you have seen, some you have reacted to the openings of, and most you might not have heard of, but all of these are on that list.
Tonikaku Kawai (or Tonikawa in short) is really wholesome and cute anime about young adult couple. I recommend it for sure it's very soothing.
Let's go back and do every year collections
never watched a single episode of Black Clover but had listened to Black Catcher numerous times
Kingdom is one of the best manga I read and also season 03 and season 04 get much quantity Compare to 01 and 02 season
I absolutely love these reactions to anime openings from past seasons, it reminds me of bangers from past years like the opening to id:invaded. Also, there are still some banger openings from animes you haven't yet reacted to out there, a few would be:
March comes in like a lion (ops + endings, all are excellent)
Chihayafuru
Silver spoon (ops + ed are all vibes)
Hibike euphonium
Eureka seven
Long comment I know, but I'd love to see you react to some of these!
Not enough love or popularity backed from it, but it is an underrated gem, love for you to check it out one day
I Like the Tanjiro figure in the background. 🔥😎🩸
Nice
Interesting, I haven't watched half of those series. 🤔 I already saw some that I will add to my list.
2018 ops slapped
Also, have you reacted to Akame ga kill's ops yet? That's a show that hits you in the feels.
As someone who is UpToDate on Golden Kamuy I can highly recomend it too
Tonilkawa over the moon op was so unexpectedly amazing please check it out! op2 is good too! I can't remember how many anime came out in 2020 way more then before! I still need to watch them.
My top 5 of 2020 is,
1.Tower of God (love the manhwa and the anime was really good)
2.God of highschool (the insane beat drop is everything)
3.Tonikawa over the moon (unexpectedly amazing just insane op there was no reason for them to go that hard but they did it anyway)
4.SAO WotU the nostalgia is something else on that one.
5.Pet dunno why it feels like I am the only one that watched this anime (cuz Tk why not?)
My top 4 of animes and songs of 2020 are definitely:
1# Fire Force Season 2 Opening 2
2# Kaguya-sama Daddy! Daddy! Do!
3# Re:Zero
4# Isekai Quartet 2
🫡
Haikyuu is a great entry way into sports anime. There are a ton of sports anime out there like Prince of Tennis, Free, and Eyeshield 21. The most abundant of which being about baseball. Some that come to mind right away are "Major", "Princess Nine", and "Ace of the Diamond" as well as my favorites "Mix" and "Cross Game". The opening for Cross Game, "Summer Rain" always brings me back to my junior and high school summers. Unfortunately, Cross Game isn't available on legal streaming services anymore, though.
Oh woah. More anime openings is always fun.
And now I'm the very first person here. Never expected to see a video with no views 🤣🤣
