    I am so glad I watched this video, I never thought about starting at the neck to keep fleas from going to my dog's face I have been doing it wrong and fleas do go to her eyes and face and then I can't get to them. Thanks for setting me straight I am sure my dog will appreciate me getting it right.

    Funny that your email with video showed up today. I just ordered the Wondercide a few days ago, but I didn't buy the soap. I'm going to come by your CV store and grab some. This was a great video. I'm passing it on to family.

    Thank you for all your videos! Super informative and helpful...especially the part about the bathes. I’ve been doing it wrong! 😩 but now I know. Question about what does “control of the fleas” mean? I’ve heard a lot of people say this often (I’ve been online watching/reading about all things fleas haha. Does that mean actually get completely rid of them for the season? Or daily/weekly maintenance of picking off fleas, baths, house and yard spraying? Because I did all three. but every day I check id find more on my dog/hopping off her, and I’d restart the process again. My spouse says I need to chill, it’s not a serious infestation and this is part of the price of living in so cal. But here’s the thing, I never noticed them on her before when we lived just 15 min away. So I feel like they’re hiding somewhere in our yard/neighbors and I need to act accordingly... like a complete nut. lol
    Sorry, for the long winded questions. I should’ve just came in and asked these questions, I’d forget if I came in without a list of questions. Lastly, Is the cedar the best scented wondercide for repelling? Because currently have the peppermint one that has not deterred our fleas. It does kill them though.

    Our 3 cats had a wild bout with fleas 2 sleep with us. I had them in my hair and almost lost my mind. I have been cleaning for a solid week.
    Leaving Calif and going back to the desert...fleas don't like 118 degree weather....

    Thank you so much. I'm going to get wondercide for inside of the house and to put on my cat. I wish I could use the wondercide from my garden too. Unfortunately I can't because I read that it can draw carpenter bees. And I'm wondering if it's worth carpenter bees if it may draw ants also. Thank you for the tips. Actually I do have a question. do you know how long the wondercide takes to kill the adult fleas? Is it in instant kill or does it take a few hours or days to kill? I don't see how it could get rid of the fleas completely because of the eggs and large. it would be perfect if it had an insect growth regulator to stop the fleas from reproducing

  • @terryjourney3341
    @terryjourney3341 8 лет назад +5

    My experience with spraying Wondercide on my dog is that the fleas will STILL jump on the dog even if it has just been sprayed heavily. They do slow down and seem somewhat dazed, but they do not jump off! The fleas will die only if they are sprayed directly with it and it takes about 30 seconds to kill them. Once the spray is dry, however, fleas still will jump on and still bite the dog. The yard and garden spray does not kill live fleas so even tho it will break down the flea reproduction cycle, if there are any live fleas in your yard, they will still jump on your dog. We have animals like squirrels (not to mention landscape people) that come through the yard and live fleas are left behind, even tho I use the Yard and Garden product. I spend hundreds and hundreds on Wondercide, and I still have fleas, but I don't know any other way to fight this problem.

    • @IBPet
      @IBPet  8 лет назад +2

      This is why I like to use both Wondercide and DE. Your goal should be to control the problem and it sounds like you're doing just that. Diet is also something you might want to look at. Healthy animals make bad hosts for fleas. If you're feeding a dry food switch to a raw or canned food and you should eventually have less fleas problems as your pet becomes more healthy. Good luck!

      Terry Journey My suggestion is to just use the DE Food Grade. You can use it ON your dog. The so called other products don't kill them right away. When you put the food grade DE all over your dog it does. There are a few videos on it.

    Will DE hurt your Vacuum?

    • @aveguevara
      @aveguevara 5 лет назад +1

      It's very hard on the vacuum, I was told when researching it's use. I have a Beam canister which is a central vac, but it's in the house, not a garage - and when vacuuming up the D.E., it actually blew it's fuse - which has NEVER happened in all the years I've owned it. You must also empty the bag IMMEDIATELY after vacuuming. When I emptied the Beam canister OUTSIDE, I dumped contents into a plastic garbage bag (wear a mask!) and powered D.E. over it before sealing the bag. That was two weeks ago - we have another round to do as the next generation of these disgusting pests are brutal. I also have electric flea traps and they do catch SOME, but not ALL. And all you need is one loose flea and the cycle starts again.

    I take my dogs bedding to the laundromat! Although we love our pet, very much! Unfortunately she's not human, she's still a DOG!!! I would never wash our dogs bedding in the same washing machine, that we wash our own clothes in!!

      You subject other people to sharing a washer machine with your own dog's bedding?

    • @celiaespinoza8413
      @celiaespinoza8413 3 года назад +1

      @@peachypink604
      Absolutely! The same way they subject me, by washing their greasy mechanic clothes, their dirty bathroom mats/carpets, and also their filthy car mats. I'm not the only one that washes their pets bedding at the laundromat, I've seen many other people do the same thing.
      You won't believe what filth, I've seen go into those washing machines. When I go to the laundromat, to wash my comforters, I don't care if I have to spend a little more time and money, I always wash TWICE!! You never know what person washed, what kind of filthy clothes, in that washing machine before you. And if you also go to the laundromats, I would advise you to do the same. A person who has HIV, or the Covid 19, could be washing their bed linens and clothes in those Washer and dryers.

      Rude ass. If you don't want a pet, then fine but domesticated animals ARE NOT meant to live outside. It will shorten their lives drastically. Idk why you would even comment, this video is to help people get rid of fleas on their animals. Jackass.

    the best way to get rid of fleas and ticks is get rid of the dogs or cats or leave them out side
