I've been obsessed about this rose for a while, and I think you've just convinced me to make the purchase of a potted plant instead of waiting for bare root season.
After seeing your review I had my eyes open for this lovely rose. Today I coincidentally found her in an OBI which is a hardware store here in Austria. Hopefully Chandos Beauty will flourish in my garden. All the best! And I love your reviews. One can hear your love for roses in every word.
Very elegant in appearance and heartwarming fragrance. Center of bloom looks stunning in golden and saffron hue in bit colder days. Nice to see you in wider landscape format. Greetings from India.- Rakesh
Thank you for your wonderful story about this fantastic rose. I will certainly plant one in my garden next spring. I was looking for roses that smell. Unfortunately, there are not many such varieties in the UK. And I'm glad I found your video.
I’m pleased that you like it. This particular rose is exceptional in Grace form colour and fragrance. Please do watch my best for fragrance collection. You’ll find it here on my channel every rose that I have ranked above an eight star out of 10 for fragrance then find individual reviews for each and every rose if any of them catches your eye.
@@the_gardenerben Thank you so much, I subscribed to your channel and will watch your entire collection of amazing roses with great pleasure. Thank you for your wonderful work and love of life.
Hello Ben! That rose looks almost identical to Francis Meilland and about my favorite color. I am waiting for your fragrance report for it. FM's fragrance is excellent. I may have to add one after your fragrance report teased me. Better check if available in the U.S first
It isn't. I checked. BUUUUT I just bought Francis Meilland from heirloom roses because of YOUR comment. Thanks so much for mentioning an alternative. I really love big blooms but I only want to buy "own root" roses and this one was available along with the Eden climber.
Hope one day you will review old teas like Mrs. Foley-Hobbs or Rosette Delizy. I find them very attractive because of their delicate twiggy stems with nodding pastel-coloured flowers.
This is a must have rose, it only has one con- it absolute hates being cut in a vase. It will just wilt and half open flower won't even fully open. It just stops opening as soon as you cut it. However it lasts a long time on the bush-around a week.
If anyone finds a place to order these to the US, will you please post? I’ve looked everywhere and no luck😢 So grateful you make these wonderful detailed videos though!
Thank you for the suggestion! I tried that a couple days ago without much luck. Right now, I’m just resigning myself to a new Madame Anisette and Moonlight in Paris to help fill the void😊 If someone finds a supplier though, please let me know!
@@the_gardenerben Thank you so much for replying to my message. I will make sure that my Chandros has plenty of water. Although to be honest I usually do keep my plants well watered so with you mentioning stress it could be the re planting when brought home from garden center maybe as I’ve only had it for just under 2 weeks x Thanks again for your reply 🙏

Remove any leaves yellowing with black spot and clear up any diseased leaves that have fallen to the ground, because these will otherwise spread the fungus. Ty for sharing this rose.
One of the best Roses available imo

how can I purchase this flower in the US? I want to add this beautiful flower with my David Austin flowers in my garden.❤

Sure you can find it
Hi Ben,
Could you please tell us if it is a disease resistant or not? I couldn’t find that particular information on Harkness website.
@@travellerseko it’s prone to black spot and leaf drop but recovers fast
Gorgeous! Does it last long as cut flower?
So far it’s lasted 4 days and going strong
It's not suitable for cutting. It just wilts straight away and won't open in a vase
I have recently bought this rose but I have noticed it has some black dots in a few of the leaves and I’m worried that it has a disease 😬
Black spots on the leaves are generally known as black spot, which is a fungal infection, normally brought around by stress, normally lack of water
