@@angelnava6217 Well it’s not confirmed if he can control it or not but he seemingly possesses the power to alter a person’s memory but it doesn’t seems like he’s aware of it. The new character that we will see next week is going to later on in the anime have a false memory of him and Yuji being brothers, implanted into his mind and from thst pint onwards they will have the closes brotherly bond ever lmfaooo. It will come off as a gag in season 1 but later on it the story you’ll realize it’s not a gag it’s actually some kind of latent ability. If he’s able to control thst technique one day, Yuji will legit be able to alter people’s memories at will.

Because if energy curse being 1 then any exponent given is still being 1 in the end. So he come up with logic furthermore in the chapter that curse energy shouldnt be between 0 and 1. Yet fushiguro father has 0 state and most human have between 0 and 1 . Its confussing probably like ehat araki does

Infinity: The closer u get to him, the slower u go to the point where u can’t move at all.
Cursed Technique Red: Pushes everything away from him.
Cursed Technique Blue: Pulls everything to him.
Infinite Void: His domain in which if u get trapped, u can see/hear EVERYTHING, and NOTHING at the same time.
Summary: Gojo is god.

You forgot about Hollow Purple, which combines the act of molecules pulling themselves apart and forming themselves back together extremely violently causing electricity and pure energy to delete anything it comes in contact with.

Not really. You can break through his barrier with enough force/strength/power/etc. in the explanation he gives to getou he says he needs cursed energy to stop the hits so a strong enough attack can blow through his energy reserves.

Debating which anime character is stronger, truly an important use for years of formal academy training.
So Blue creates a vacuum in reality, which reality compensates by pulled everything around it towards the source of the void. Red creates an empty mass that reality try’s to fit into space by pushing things away from it. Purple is doing both at the same time, which means that as the negative space is being created, and reality is pulling mass into it, red is filling that void with imaginary mass, which causes whatever was touched by purple to essentially be overlapped with empty space. That’s how things are getting deleted, for those that are having trouble processing things.
Also, my personal theory for how the Six Eyes works is that, similar to how Gojo’s Domain expansion fills the enemy’s brains with an infinite amount of information all at once, Gojo is able to process all of perceivable reality at the same time. So think of it this way: if Limitless as a cursed technique is only able to be mastered by someone with the Six Eye’s, it could be because applying Infinity creates an overload of information that eventually overloads the user’s brain. If the Six Eye’s allows the one who possesses them to absorb all of the information around them (maybe by speeding up their perception to such a degree that they can process all of the information as it’s coming in). Also, as an extension, I do mean the entirety of reality around them. Even things they can’t physically see. This would be how Gojo is able to recognize that Sukuna’s finger did in fact fuse with Yuji, and how he can tell how strong someone is by looking at them

so when I read the first part, it's basically sorta like having a 360° magnifying glass, around a perfect vaccumed sphere ., with the enemy at the very center of the sphere, so that they are experiencing the things youre magnifying. This is called "infinite speed". What's faster is when a character is able to move in a place where time does not exist. This is called "inaccessible speed". Everyone I listed are tiered at inaccsessible speed or higher. So the point is, it doesn't matter if you are space and tine itself if your opponent is above space and time.

Not really, it's more fundamental than that, Gojo is using entropy itself. Red is to increase local entropy, blue reverses it, despite healing being used to describe its effects, it's more like reverting. Purple creates a paradox, that's why everything it touches is deleted.
It's funny cause literally everyone on Earth right now has Gojo's first power, that is nothing ever "touches" you, technically. Two objects get really, *really* close but then are repelled by their atom's electrons.

if anyone here is in calculus or is taking calculus, a lot of this “infinity” talk and convergence/divergence sounds very similar to the usage of limits in calculus. In fact, gojo’s technique “limitless” sounds exactly like a graphical discontinuity (ex. asymptotes, removable discontinuities...) and it sounds similar to the concept of limits in calculus. Kudos to the author who literally created this technique from scratch...they must’ve been a fan of calculus or a fan of a subject that uses a lot of calculus like physics 🤷♀️

I was never good at math so this just fries my brain. But by the looks of it he's basically playing god being able to predict incoming attacks and move before they even hit him like ultra instinct, manipulate matter at will by moving things where he wants, and create blackholes that delete whatever he wants. In episode 2 Sukuna was questioning how Gojo was so fast but I think even he realised that Gojo wasn't fast, it was just that he saw his attacks coming before they came.
That's not it m8, it isn't that he sees the attacks coming, it's that the attacks never reach him. Best way to describe it is "so close yet so far". You see someones fist perhaps a millimeter away but in reality the distance between that attack and Gojo is infinite.
He does not manipulate matter at will, to skip math stuffs he can basically repel and attract.
He also does not create black holes, but the attack does delete everything via creating "imaginary mass". Again no math stuffs but, not a black hole.

I'd see blue as spatial compression, the effect of gravity from matter.
Red being spatial expansion, theoretically the effect of antimatter.
Hollow purple is matter-antimatter annihilation, a 100% conversion of e=mc^2, mass into pure energy.
Pretty sure blue is the spatial collapse created by filling space with negative mass. In turn, red is the expansion created by positive mass placed in empty space.
There's a theoretical design for a warp drive. If we could make it it would totally work, but unfortunately we don't have the tech to do so. Basically, you put negative mass in front of you and positive mass behind you. The space in front of you shrinks and the space behind you expands, causing you to simultaneously remain still and travel hundreds of times the speed of light.
Purple creates imaginary mass which I guess just causes the universe to have a seizure and delete everything in the area.

This is an insanely good question. However, I think the problem would be getting something of Gojo’s. For Kugisaki to be able to hit him, she’d need a part of him to connect to and given that literally no one could touch Gojo, it would be near impossible to do. Not sure if hair would work but if Resonance works on all body parts and Gojo has hairfall, then yes it would hit him.

@@watsondillon1997 yes it’s literally impossible to get anything from Gojo at this point. As for your question, I think it would actually hit him. I seem to remember Gojo telling Jogo that once the Infinity is bypassed, Gojo would be vulnerable to the enemy’s physical attacks. This means that Infinity is a separate defence from Gojo’s body. Since Resonance directly hits the actual body of the person from the inside, Infinity won’t be much of a shield.
This explanation really clear and concise. I’d always had trouble understanding his ability and it’s affects when it was written in the manga, but the way you visualized it made it seem so simple. Thank you

Dugan sorry I came late I was sleeping, I also have to make a summary on what's happening:
1. Gojo has limitless power
2. Gojo can kill you only by knowing your precense (I have that informatio since you talked about the negative and positive ability)
3. Gojo has the ability to put you in a time lapse aka the closer you get the slower you become.
4. Gojo learned to uses abilities the counter ability automatically
5. Gojo showed that he doesn't know about every curse and recurse
6. Gojo can make a cursed arena meaning that by knowing your presence your dead
7. Gojo can 1 hit kill you
In conclusion Gojo is a badass character with the balls to kill BUT he has a weakness, he can know you by knowing your presence meaning that if you try to beat him you'll have to do it psicologicaly to lure him. You'll even need an ability nullifying curse to beat him (if it exists, if not no one can beat him in a battle), to win him you MUST not let him know your presence and it's gonna be harder if you don't have nothing that nulifies it.
Here you have it Dugan, how to beat him. I know that's hard so it will be almost impossible but in anime they turn impossible things possible with plot twists.

Let's go start reading the manga
Here's a good example of his Infinity ability. Imagine the enemy's attack is travelling to Gojo. From 5 meters away, to 4, 3, 2 & eventually 1 meter. As the attack approaches his Infinity zone, it moves from 1 meter away to 0.9999999.... (to infinity, eventually ending with 9) meter first, then the next number is 0.9999999..... (to infinity, eventually ending 8). By the time the attack ends/expires, it's still an infinite number of distance away from him. It's similar to time dilation.
Here's my problem with that logic. If I'm to walk a distance of 1km and I'm walking at 1km/hour it'd take me 1 hour. To reach the mid point would take me 1/2 multiplied by a hour 30 mins. Now I can reach the mid point of the original midpoint which is 1/4 of the 60 minutes. I can reach the midpoint of the midpoint of the original midpoint which is 1/8 of 60 minutes. Do this enough times and we'll get to 1/256 or even 1/1024 which can infinitely go on correct? But the summation of all the "infinite" parts of time still sum up to 1 hour. You can't make an hour infinite no matter how many times you split it even though in real time I am moving 1/2048 of 60 minutes to get to my destination but my speed doesn't expire. My speed is just relative to the distance which means I'd be moving at 1/2048 of 1km/hr at 1/2048 of 60 minutes. You can correct me if I'm wrong

@@eddiee9147 You’re using Newtonian equations for speed in your analysis and that’s why it’s confusing. As soon as he called the technique infinity, Relativity was the way to go if you wanted to understand this.
I think a better explanation of his technique ( from someone who’s been doing a lot of calculus these past three years ) is that his power is not just space manipulation; it’s also to some degree, also a time manipulation.(Space and time are linked as spacetime anyway according to relativity). By entering his infinity zone, time taken to cross a fixed fraction of a distance is sort of made constant.
So say the fraction was a half the distance between u and him. If it took u two seconds to get to that point, it’d take u another two seconds to get to half of the distance you’re at. Since u can divide something into as many halves as u want, once it takes u the same time to go through each halve, u can do this forever. It’s like trapping u in a function of y= 1/x where x is distance and y is time. As x (distance between u) approaches zero, y(time taken to reach that distance) approaches infinity.

I like to think that his ability "infinity" makes everything slower the closer it gets to him, but since he calls it infinity no one will every reach him since he is "infinitively far away" from his enemies

One thing I get is that in Gojo's domain expanision, you are literally inside his infinity so that means you yourself keeps dividing and dividing that's why you receive infinite amount of information and at the same time it feels like time itself has stopped because you keep dividing

on other hand, I think Gojo's technique is inspired by a Black Hole and phenomenon around it. to put simply: Infinity, is a singularity... it is when u pulled by gravity into a Black Hole (Event Horizon). Ur body is not absorbed instantly, but rather "suspended in time" (see youtube video about Black Hole and Event Horizon for more explanation).
"suspended in time" is akin to you can't touch Gojo forever the same as you won't get in touch with the surface of the Black Hole. And it is the same with Immeasurable Void, see... in Event Horizon, it is said that you can see everything (while still suspended) as light bending irregularly because of the Black Hole's Gravity.

He's insane. Period. Character design is fire, and powers are nearly incomprehensible.
Typically I hate characters that are written with innate powers of godliness and just universe breaking type abilities but you cant help but love this guy.

Another great way to show infinity on a number line is to ask someone to go half the distance closer to their target every time. If you keep going half the distance to the target you will never get there. Because at the end you can divide the smallest space left between you and the target an infinite number of times.
People need to remember that this is only what we know NOW. This could just be a fraction of his true power.
