Great video I finally found a video that explains correctly 👍🏻👏🏻
Good tip lubing the spring pins👍 Been doing my own brakes for over 30 years now...
Do all these Corrollas need turning to put new shoes on? We bought two sets of shoes that are too big & the factory drums have no wear at all!
from where did you get these brake shoes? hard to find the one with hardware attached!
Am working on my 2013 corolla right now..i tried with a bolt on the 2 little wholes for the drum to come and nothing..drum keeps pulling out as i screw the bolts but at some point it stops.drum wont come out and feels hard to pull..i tried hit it with a hammer and they just wont pop out...any help..thanks
Release the parking brake. If it's engaged the drum won't come off
@@kylesage1446 thats what it was..
Hope you check you didn’t had the handbrake on that because that happened to me lol
Great job 😊
You look like my friend Pancho . Cool video
What brand of shoes did you go with?
I’m on a budget but need to get my rear drum brakes repaired. Can I replace only the brake shoes without replacing or machining the actual drum itself?
What did you end up doing ?
@@davidcobarruvias4185. Nothing yet lol. The car goes to the mechanic this week when I will pose the very same question to him. Hopefully I just need a clean and adjust.
@@carlorocky what did you end up doing?
@@danish2199 Yes, I was able to only replace the shoes along with a new spring kit. Works and sounds much better now!
Theres a primary and a secondary shoe. They will always wear unevenly brother
Solid job
is this the rear drivers side or the passenger side
Passenger
Thanks for share you do well
You didn’t show to remove Ebrake line
Good explanation about the belly button!
Excellent
Thank You!
thank you
what do you charge for a job like this i have a 2013 corolla
@@hilarioautorepair why can’t you tell us
I can't get the drum back on it's too tight what do I need to do
You need to release the tension from the spring. Put the cover back on and you can tighten the spring from the back of the drum it has a small whole to adjust.
@@justinsoler0614 thanks. I finally did figure it out and get it on back when I was doing that job
What's the part number
Did you ever found the part number
No I didn't
