Not an easy song, and Irina totally brought it! Brittany Howard has a phenomenal voice: a serious powerhouse with range and all kinds of colors in her voice, and I'm really impressed with both the power and softer nuances of Irina's performance. Loved it.

I loved this performance by Irina. And it's a nice gift for anyone who's been following her journey: She was highly praised for her low, calm and delicate voice in the blind audition.
...and in this song comes a BANG that we weren't expecting, something totally different from what we've seen in it so far. It was definitely surprisingly good.
The cool thing about Jarle (coach) is that he always follows the tones of voice with his hand, showing that it was rehearsed and in consensus between the two of them. Good partnership.
And yes, The Voice Norway is the best show.

I really like this. This is the type of music I listen to. She's not most technically gifted (atleast when you compare her to Tejaswinee) but I think she definitely know how to make a song sound good. You dont have to be the greatest vocalist ever to make great music and this perfect example of it. I know this type of music isn't everyone's cup of tea, but what she's trying to achieve here with this style would definitely appeal to a slightly commercial indie rock/pop audience.

Ouch...hurts my ears
Tons of screams and out of tone most of the song. I repeat again in this tv show there are vocal coaches who explain to participants how to breath while they are singing or the warm voice exercises to do before singing? It s not possible to hear 3 minutes of mistakes and screams like that in a music talent show
She messed up a lot in the first chorus but made corrections the second time. I'm really rooting for her, but if she wants to go all the way, she won't without correcting her power vocals approach to these types of songs. Strange question, but does anyone know if the guy in glasses at 0:38 is her boyfriend?
