"You dare end one who belongs to me? I am the smile of the worm-cleansed skull. I am the regrets of those who remain, and the restlessness of those who are gone. I am the haunt of mausoleums, the god of graves and age, of dust and dusk. I am Myrkul, Lord of Bones, and you have slain my chosen. But it is no matter. For I am death. And I am not the end. I am a beginning."
Absolutely chilling.
Shadowheart: "Shit"
@@spectra5407 Astarion: "Oh...Oh dear."
Bone-chilling, even
@@Cyb3rHusky... 😂
Yes the writing, the voice acting, the soundtrack, the visuals... all just so epic :D currently at Wyrms Crossing, I am scared that no other fight can top that :D
The only one that cares about his chosen
Myrkul actually doesn’t care about Ketheric, what he cares about is his ego and killing his chosen challenged his seat of power which hurt his ego.
@@Leonggnore i still think it is still better than the two other dickgod behavior that didn'T even cared enough about their choosen to feel challenged/blessed by their ego by them being killed by you. I honestly think that this guys/ketheric should have be the last one to fight, he gived so much final boss than the 2 other choosen, jsut because of Myrkul appaerence
As the most abstract of the Dead Three, Myrkul has always been the most terrifying to me.
Bane can be reasoned with, to a degree.
Bhaal, theoretically can be avoided.
Myrkul? He is inevitable. All things must die, and so all things must go to him.
Kelemvor: "Lol. Lmao even."
Withers: “No.”
Kalah-cha be like: hold my mask
The best "oh shit" moment
Shadowheart's 'Shit' Comment after the Monologue is Pure GOLD! she litterly pulls the words out of our Mouths xD
@@galacticfirefly6060 Karlach's "Well, fuck" is priceless too
“Oh oh dear”
there’s so many fantastical musical moments in this game, but hearing that organ during this scene was ABSOLUTELY UNREAL
There is so few good musical pieces in this game so it rly stands out when we hear something good
@@fosphor8920 bruh what are you on about 💀💀
@@radi534 what part don't you understand?
@@fosphor8920 what kind of musical 'taste' one must have to say there are so few good musical pieces in the BG3 ost
@@radi534 most of the music is around 3 ost remixed into different ost but essentially the same as the original. Then they added some elevator music and some generic adventure music on top of that. What part of this did you enjoy?
Definitely my favourite of "The Three". Say what you like about Myrkul, he had far more presence than Bane and Bhaal put together for me.
I'd agree if Dark Urge didn't make Bhaal a massive deal by comparison. I mean he basically has his own ending after all
@@joedatius Real, when playing Dark Urge Bhaal is very much a big part of the story, Bane is basically still non-existent though
@@realbabyeateras far as I know, Bane being more distant is on line whit the D&D lore.
@@DiegoBPiquer Bane is normally the most active of the Dead Three; in fact for a good long while both Bhaal and Myrkul were dead.
Bane is also the most powerful of the trio and has one of the largest churches of any evil god, partly because they are slightly more willing to obey the law (or not get caught breaking it).
Bhaal deserves to be the most prominent in Baldur's Gate 3 though, because he's more or less the main villain of Baldur's Gate 1 & 2.
@@jonathancampbell5231All Three where dead.
Thats why they are called the "Dead Three".
Bhaal, Bane and Myrkul got killed in the Time of Troubles, and are now just "Quasi Deities".
The lowest Rank of an God.
He is here. He is watching. He is listening. He is…he is…..
Peak drama! This is the perfect OST to play to a totally overwhelming foe, so beyond the abilities of your party yet so hopelessly unavoidable.
Who would win?
One Avatar of the God of Death?
Or one Counterspell boi?
*SMITE!*
lol my fighter with multiclass to give divine strikes landed a few criticals on their first turn and had Myrkul die to a damn default arrow attack.
was such a anti-climactic boss fight.
My stack of smokepowder.
@@bodybrest2644 Ah yes
1. Throw a bag of explosives (and some runepowder nukes to the mix)
2. Cast a Globe of Invulnerability
3. Light the explosives up
4. Oppenheimer
@@Softpaw1996 its a shame because he does theoretically have some really scary attacks; the massive scythe swing hits really hard and he can cast the seventh level spell finger of death which theoretically does enough damage at 7d8+30 to easily one shot any character
Shadowheart: Shit.
Lae'zel: Tsk'va!
Karlach: Well ffffffuck.
Astarion: Oh... oh, dear.
Halsin: By Silvanus' mossy beard...
Wyll: The Triad help us...
Gale: By Mystra's silken tresses...
Jaheira: Hello, Death. I like your hat.
The climax of Act 2, from
the Assault on Moonrise to the battle against Myrkul to the revelation about the Emperor. All of this and the build-up was worth the price of admission alone! I haven’t gotten far in Act III yet, but it’s gonna be hard to top the climax of Act II
Honestly there’s a lot of cool stuff in act 3, but act 2 is the best act of the game.
@@vladdracula8103 Aylin and Isobel alone are the best characters(excluding companions) and the cutscene preceding the assault is top tier
I feel like it starts with the Aylin transformation cutscene, when she starts invoking Selune with the chorus in the background, and then every cutscene from that point just gets more and more epic, leading up to this fight
Borislav Slavov great composer, i enjoyed his music before he joined Larian Studios
Just got past this part earlier. The fight itself was pretty easy but good lord that intro was absolutely insane, definitely had final boss vibes going on there
Do you play on "normal" difficulty?
@@fosphor8920 yeah but I've heard people say it's not that bad even on tactician
@@Sam-vz8pmyeah I killed him in like 2 turns on honor mode. im hoping larian buffs his health pool in a later patch
@@RetroCube I think the problem with him, aside from the fact that he's immobile, is that it's essentially a solo fight except for like 2 weak henchmen that start mad far anyway so they're kinda irrelevant, which makes beating him super easy. We did just get a boss fight right before this so it makes sense they didn't make him super hard, but I feel like that could've been worked better
@@Sam-vz8pm Myrkul is also immobile, which is another big factor. I suppose they wanted to not make him that hard since you dont get a heal between Ketheric and this, but even then
Myrkul will rise again because this isn't on Spotify
Game needs movie for each act Urgently
This game has the best music since Elden Ring.
*FF16
@@Tekeysix*FF16 and Elden Ring
@TobyKBTY he said since elden ring, ER released before FF16 so me correcting it to FF16 doesn't take it away from ER.
I would say it has the best music since Dark Souls 3...
but Dark Souls 3 is still probably better
@@disastrousdwarfdon't forget about Cyberpunk 2077
Such an awesome monologue!.. shame the fight didn't last more than one or two rounds, even on Tactician.
Honor mode, gooo!!!!
@@BeCurieUs Well it'll still only last one or two rounds, it's just leading to a wipe rather than Act 3.

ill never forgive them for replacing this
i just went through this on a 2nd playthrough and it was missing. Horrible decision. i get that mykrul's dialogue was soft but all they had to do was to increase his volume NOT REMOVE HIS EPIC INTRO BGM.
@@Zensonne I KNOW RIGHT? It's like one of the best tracks on the ost and they GOT RID OF IT??? Look how they butchered my boy
THEY GOT RID OF THE MUSIC?! WTF?!
@@weasel003gaming7 yeah when i played it a few days ago it was gone.. i reloaded again and yep its not there. I noticed his dialogue audio has been increased so this seems like a decision by Larian? Who knows lol. Still sad the music wasnt there
@@ileamonster When i first experienced mykrul during launch month i was not expecting him and saw no spoilers. I was stunned by how amazing mykruls intro was.
The music really sold and elevated his whole introduction as this colossal godly figure, and the whole its do or die moment for your party as you face an avatar of a god. (Along with the amazing cinematic camera shots)
You are listening this and you are hearing Khetric Thorm’s Bow!!! Quote
