I disagree. He lost his dad look. In general my one issue with season 2 is that it sacrificed some of its identity to pander to the fans that wanted it to be more like the original show. Something they even make a jab at in one episode.

Knowing what Jennette McCurdy was going through behind the scenes with her mom, I don’t blame her at all. But the show writers really came up with an unfunny, selfish, mean character. I was in my early twenties when I watched iCarly so maybe she was funny to preteens and younger but she always came off as a bully to me. You view kid shows very differently as an adult.
September 8th, 2007 was the start of a 15+ year slow burn and none of us knew it. It can really feel like an endgame here too because they're adults' teen romances don't usually work but with adults it can feel like forever.

And best of all, the finale ended with them kissing 🥺🥰which proved they both had unresolved feelings for each other till she left.

I used to be a Seddie shipper all my life, but let's face, Jennette is never coming back. Also, even if she agreed to come back, she would never accept to do a Seddie scene, she and Nathan were always awkward about shooting romantic scenes with each other, whilst Miranda used to approach it much more professionally (even though she admitted she was a little embarassed in iSaved your Life). Carly and Freddie is all we have, so we'll have to make do with it. Personally, I'm really thrilled that iCarly is back, even if it is without Sam. I just want it to be goofy and funny.
It was always going to end up in Creddie even if Sam was around tho. That's a given, even Nathan said it since in 2015, that seddie had all the traits that would have never worked out after they knowingly broke up back then and that Freddie was always going to end up with Carly, all it took was for her to realize he had always been the one for her.

I used to be a Seddie shipper all my life, but let's face, Jennette is never coming back. Also, even if she agreed to come back, she would never accept to do a Seddie scene, she and Nathan were always awkward about shooting romantic scenes with each other, whilst Miranda used to approach it much more professionally (even though she admitted she was a little embarassed in iSaved your Life). Carly and Freddie is all we have, so we'll have to make do with it. Personally, I'm really thrilled that iCarly is back, even if it is without Sam. I just want it to be goofy and funny.
It was always going to end up in Creddie even if Sam was around tho. That's a given, even Nathan said it since in 2015, that seddie had all the traits that would have never worked out after they knowingly broke up back then and that Freddie was always going to end up with Carly, all it took was for her to realize he had always been the one for her.
I was always for these two, so I hope this show puts them together, or this random bullcrap of them two flirting for nothing will just ruin the show

I have no way to watch the reboot but I've been seeing tons of clips from it and I really want to know what they say happened to Sam in the show (I know Jeanette didn't want to be in the reboot and all that, I read her book so I totally get it) but do they say she like moved away and that's why she's not there or do they just never mention her in the show (out of respect for Jeanette) or what?
