Seen others wait a little longer to pull the paper. Do you think that could be a factor? I got a plate, and the paper was getting stuck. It was a mess, I sent it back .

Perhaps… Although, I’ve rarely had it happen, so I’m not sure! It’s all trial and error every time! Thanks for watching.

Thanks for showing us how to use botanicals for a nice print. It’s a shame the paint wouldn’t lift off.

@@thesmallartcompany5129 Other artists do not let their paint dry onto the page before pulling. They pull the print immediately. All the paint is removed by the paper. Do you see benefit from letting the paper dry to the plate? I’m genuinely curious.

@@maramakesjournals2319 Sorry, only just saw your comment. I thought I did lift immediately! I will have to check, maybe I didn't... Using acrylic paint I do usually pull straight away. I might have to experiment :)

Your plate seems grabby. Hand sanitizer and baby wipes dry it out. you might consider conditioning with baby/mineral oil. Lovely print.

Thanks! I actually don't mind leftover paint. It kind of adds to the overall effect, although it does depend what I'm doing...

Nice suggestions. There was something not right. The plate or the paint.
