Seen others wait a little longer to pull the paper. Do you think that could be a factor? I got a plate, and the paper was getting stuck. It was a mess, I sent it back .

What glue do you use to attach the paper to the glass?

Whatever they are they look cool! I know you said they could be used for jewelry but they remind me of tiles I've used when making mosaic stepping stones for the yard. These might not be strong enough for that but I'll bet I could find clear tiles that are made specifically for mosaic stepping stones and do the same thing you've done. When the video started I had no clue what you were doing but I was curious enough to stick with you and I love the end result! TFS!

How long do you wait to pull up the paper?
I pull it straight away. Spend 10 seconds or so pushing down and rubbing all over, then just pull it up.
Where did you get these stencils?
All different places! Some at craft fairs, others on Amazon, some in local shops…
What kind of paper are you using?
By the way, I don’t usually watch videos with music. I’m going blind and I get eye fatigue easily so I usually listen and look up here and there on videos but I found this mesmerizing. Very pretty.

Thanks, they do make interesting prints.
@@thesmallartcompany5129 Other artists do not let their paint dry onto the page before pulling. They pull the print immediately. All the paint is removed by the paper. Do you see benefit from letting the paper dry to the plate? I’m genuinely curious.
@@maramakesjournals2319 Sorry, only just saw your comment. I thought I did lift immediately! I will have to check, maybe I didn't... Using acrylic paint I do usually pull straight away. I might have to experiment :)
Your plate seems grabby. Hand sanitizer and baby wipes dry it out. you might consider conditioning with baby/mineral oil. Lovely print.

Just found your channel. Loving your videos so far! I have been obsessed with gelli printing for many months. Even though I have hundreds of prints, I still use my gelli plate every day. It’s so calming and inspiring. But I have to say that I have never printed directly onto my journal pages. Not sure why I’ve never thought of that. I am definitely going to try that.
