Interesting. TY for the info. I saw another video where it was pointed out that, after classic (vanilla) was launched, Blizzard advertised for more people for their classic development team. If memory serves, these ads differed from the original ones for classic vanilla in that the original ones indicated it was for classic vanilla development whereas the new ads just said classic. I also note that they have the mechanism in place on their launcher to select and launch any version of wow they care to re-create, they have already rendered the models as they need to be, and they have also figured out a process for turning the database elements of the older xpacs to work with the latest version of the server. What I am hoping for is that they will release Classic TBC as a layer on the existing Classic servers and allow players the option of copying their toon(s) over to these layers to continue their journey while retaining the original(s) on classic (vanilla).
I stopped playing classic last november so I haven't been on the PTR but I was told that they amped the players to basically replicate world buffs (but the 50%+ healing is just an uber buff), and aren't actually showing players the actual damage that will be in the raid when it officially comes out? Can anyone confirm this? Because if that's true and when Naxx comes out it is actually difficult, even with world buffs, I hope that take that into account with TBC. @@SeaBreeze107 i agree lol. There are some other solutions to this. I think that either way, hopefully they will do the right thing to not piss everyone off.
I wonder what is everyone's preference to starting a new character for TBC or using your lvl 60 or stating @ 58. I wouldn't really want to use my lvl 60 since most epic gear is obsolete from vanilla to TBC. I wouldn't find a fresh start 😁but starting @ 58 sounds nice too! 😪🤣
Wow Classic should remain the same for future players to embark on that and blizzard would know it would make money off that... u should be able to character copy your classic character into TBC and start fresh with the gear u being over since it will be replaced keeping both spectrums without having to squish characters and the actual retail game presumes it’s course. Guilds could also create same guilds on all expansions and switch back and forth if they do so. I’m a vanilla player and about to start playing wow again classic after a long time and that’s the reason I’m coming back to replay. But also I believe Blizzard should allow us old school vanilla players some recognition in the game. I ain’t doing that rank 14 grind again some make a title separating those old schoolers from today’s Gen. gosh I know I played it before some of the new Gens even was born lol. Anyways just my thoughts
No comment is not actually a comment. However A comment could mean more than just the explicit meaning of the comment. For instance- confirming tbc confirms that classic+ is not a thing etc. Starting down the expansion pass is easier but it WILL end in retail design philosophy taking over. Wow team can't afford more than a retail team and a smaller classic team. And while a buffet of ice cream flavors to play - vanilla, tbc, wotlk, mop. They have to realise that the rush of release was the only thing keeping players coming to the game and an mmo with no players is a dead mmo. Then again after classics end maybe they consolidate servers into legacy servers and cut down to like 5 pvp 3pve and 1 rp per region
Classic should run through WotLK to stay with the Warcraft Lore then let retail carry on all the new stuff, possibly even a different time line after Arthus is killed who knows but I think it'd be cool.
I'd like to transfer my 60s over and start that way, even possibly faction change and race change to start and start fresh that way. Or I wouldn't hate going 1-70 and leveling the field and starting completely fresh. Either way would be really hyped for peak WoW (TBC).
It's easy. Blizzard can COPY every single server. The old copy is stuck in Vanilla. The new copy is in BC. It has every character and all items in each character's bag. No need to transfer, no need to re-roll. MadSeason came up with this shit a year ago.
Easy, they have to launch new fresh servers also. Cuz i dont want to be with all this massive gold-carriers boosters and chineseindonesian farmers at the launch. A lot of streamers addressed it already weeks ago man
I started in TBC, and I always wanted to play vanilla, because I missed it. Problem is that always played Prot Pala and in vanilla it has too many difficulties, especialy no taunt. So now I'm really looking for TBC to play where I started and when paladin tanking was very enjoyable in raids.
So, some people want a TBC where we all start at level 1 again? Ok, so now we're all spending weeks, and for some, months, leveling all over before we can even get to TBC. Then of course, we lose all the work we put in grinding rep, leveling skills, etc. I guess this sounds like a good idea to the guy who started playing last week and would be fine with screwing over millions of players just so he can catch up, but that wasn't how TBC was originally launched, so it breaks the #nochanges rule, while simultaneously taking away everyone's work. I doubt very much Blizz wants to piss off 95% of their community, sorry.
It's just stupid and selfcentered. Even worse when it comes from players who for whatever reason don't even really play classic or waste their time on private servers at the moment or some streamer who get's everything shoved up his ass and doesn't care therefore anyway. For whatever reason they all think they deserve to be on par with everybody including the people who played classic from start to finish.
Its an easy solution. Release progressive wow servers so people can continue to progress their level 60's from Classic and start a limited number of fresh servers. The primary downside is that it will split up the player base. If they do release fresh tbc servers where everyone starts at level 1 or level 58, they then need to lock server transfers to those servers and only allow characters from other fresh servers to join for at least a limited amount of time (6 months at least). Thereby the major downside to this approach is minimized and after 6 months the player base will not longer be split up. I'm all for fresh servers (in fact I probably won't come back if they only do progressive) because the absolute best thing about classic was everyone starting at level 1 and everyone leveling up together. The leveling experience will be even better in TBC because you now have 2 more races and Alliance has access to Shamans and Horde Paladins. Fresh servers will also fix the problem of everyone being in Hellfire Peninsula during launch of a progressive server. It will also fix the problem for the people who want to re roll Horde Paladins and Alliance Shamans of being way behind everyone else. Mind you this is coming from a guy who was a hardcore raider (16 hours a week) from vanilla - cataclysm talking about how awesome the leveling experience is when everyone is on equal footing.
We all know that they're gonna release TBC servers with all our characters intact, don't be so negative. It's the simplest business decision but IMO, character copies should happen 1 week AFTER all the fresh re-rollers have roll fresh horde pallies and alliance shamans(yes we all know that's what you're gonna do). Give the people starting over from level 1 one week, then let the mass floodgates of all 60s in Naxx gear roll into Outland.
@@d0k0night "Don't be so negative" LOL, it's called an opinion, which means we take a stance on a given topic. "Negative" and "Positive" are purely subjective, so put down the Tony Robbins book, put your shoes back on, and get with the tour
I never played WOW back its hay day, at most I played around wrath of hte lich king, then cataclysm comes around, level tracking on the map, better quest progression, 4 race that can be druids, mounts are account bound (I remember this as I never got the goblin trike with my warrior but i did use a kodo and I have so many ground mounts that became useless after a few expansions) but the thing that excited me the most of classic were the stat set up, the levels being set and throwing the level scaling out of the window, combat felt releatively faster than modern wow. Now I can have an actual journey as I enjoyed the feeling when I did my goblin warrior, that was before draenor............ In short, I enjoy the conveniences but not the stat overhual and level scaling, its to much as I like the sense of a journey, going from the overworld and journey into outland then to northrend
I heard on a separate channel blizzard put out an advert about phase 4 for classic Wow developers, and quite a few. If true they alwere probably for TBC not classic. That convinced me as much as anything.
Maybe all the people on retailed crying how unfair it was they didn't get to experience raid content? They made raids brain dead easy and purples for all to appease them
TBC survey was there to pump the hype, carrot on the stick so to speak, to keep player involved in Vanilla, paying monthly sub while waiting and preparing for TBC...clever and cunning from Blizzard side.
i would only be willing to pay if they were willing to put in some extra work in terms of class balance, new mechanics to bosses to make them a little more challenging and things like that
I am as #no changes as the next guy but on launch day please allow dynamic leveling day one I don't want a warloards of Drenor situation again. It can be phased out like layering if nessary. Any other minimal changes that are popular in the community would be fine with me. BC is far and away the best WoW I ever played.
No changes is how we get undertuned content with overly buffed players. Classic would have been miles better if world buffs just didnt work in raids. Let's hope they buff the difficulty of the content.
There is no way they give us 2.4.3 itemization, it would make no sense at all. Do you imagine dinging 70 and then with crafted gear doing endgame damage for example ?? Come on, be reasonable and never ask for this again, we want a true enjoyable experience, not a cakewalk.
@@arkeez1181 Ok boomer. There was no gear for endgame craftable early on, 2.4.3 or 2.0 (spellstrike was available directly for example). @@beekay2363 Ok boomer. Let's get a little experience on private servers before you come post here, there is a reason why they do PROGRESSIVE ITEMIZATION and not 2.4.3. The last itemization is way too powerful for the early game, they did it in retail so the newcomers could catch up faster for SWP. This is the exact same thing as 1.12 itemization on Classic that led to broken items like BRE or Onslaught that were not supposed to be there at the beginning of the game. Grow up and try to learn at least some basic things about TBC before posting shit comments like that
I'd like a late tbc patch, but let raids come out every couple of months instead of tier 5 straight out the gate. I'd like to see copy character from classic and leave our current characters there. Maybe put a 2k gold cap so we don't screw up the economy. I also heard that for world first, its not going to be even for alliance if they have to level shamans from level 1. So I'd say for new people let them have level 58 characters.
why is everyone so hyped for tbc? What does tbc have to offer that classic doesn't? Mage aoe caps? pvp arenas? Flying mounts? Are these things worth killing classic over?
Eh that's one of the few downsides of TBC. AoE is nerfed and that means the end of boosting. I personally would like to see the AoE cap introduced after level 60. Leave the lower levels alone please.
@@d0k0night one of the downsides of tbc ??? Lmao go away, this is one of the best things of tbc, aoe cap, no more bullshit boosting by bullshit mages to earn money again and again and again. What Classic TBC needs to be: 1) AoE nerfs to abilities happen AFTER level 60. Don't kill the boosting scene please. 2) Freshly rolled characters should get minimum a week's headstart. Then character transfers are unlocked 3) Force the FULL progression of TBC. Classic Vanilla was over far too soon. TBC should last 2-3 years minimum, with every phase extended.

- Do something about the tons of golds farmed from Classic. Introduce brutal gold caps/unsellable copied items/don't copy consumables
What is the music at the start? Good video by the way :)
Thank you !

@@NumidiaWoW Thank you, friend! Keep up the good work
I see a TBC video from a nice channel, I press like.
Glad you enjoy it!
The peak of wow was wrath so we will 100% get wrath as well... after that i have a feeling that they might, just MIGHT create and ENTIRE NEW TIMELINE OF WOW LORE AFTER Wrath which would be amazing
So do we have to start over again. Or are they going to merge it.
I hope that we have to start over. Simply because if they merge. Classic wont exist anymore.
@@HotpocketsThrillerbarkPVE I see what you mean. But it would suck.Having to start all over again.
@@SeaBreeze107 i agree lol. There are some other solutions to this. I think that either way, hopefully they will do the right thing to not piss everyone off.
@@HotpocketsThrillerbarkPVE we will see :)
plz have everyone start from lvl 0 i missed out on classic cuz nobody does dungeons without carries ):
You missed out because you started late then
Alot of people will be relvling bc of draenei and blood elves, so dont worry
@@nicolaiwerner7951 oh okay i just hope they add new servers where u cant transfer for the first couple of months
I’m really praying for classic tbc . I can’t wait too roll as lock / rdruid
Can’t wait to make a bloodelf and quest in ghostlands
Me either, and a Draenei character questing in Azuremyst & Bloodmyst Isle.
raids should be way harder than in the past to get in line with player skill lvl and create the same feeling of challenge
Basically the only thing that's gonna get me to resub.
I REALLY want this, excited.
So it’s not confirmed yet?
Give us tbc and I will die a happy man
Wow Classic should remain the same for future players to embark on that and blizzard would know it would make money off that... u should be able to character copy your classic character into TBC and start fresh with the gear u being over since it will be replaced keeping both spectrums without having to squish characters and the actual retail game presumes it’s course.
All for TBC, one thing I would like to see is non transferable characters, so we all have to start fresh
God I loved PvP arena i TBC. Hunter + Druid ftw ;P
Classic should run through WotLK to stay with the Warcraft Lore then let retail carry on all the new stuff, possibly even a different time line after Arthus is killed who knows but I think it'd be cool.
nice
Very nice
I just hope there will still be classic wow. They will have to keep it or rerelease it, or else private servers here we come.
They will probably open fresh classic and fresh TBC servers aswell as the option to transfer your classic chars - that way everyone is catered for
I'd like to transfer my 60s over and start that way, even possibly faction change and race change to start and start fresh that way.
Yeah you get the Taunt and the Avenger's Shield which is awesome.
Screw beta! release in march already!!!! Hyped!
gotta have a beta to make sure the updated code works. hopefully ASAP
I really want TBC!
Same here !
I cannot wait for the beta that Classic is to be over and for the real deal that TBC was to come out.
I never played WOW back its hay day, at most I played around wrath of hte lich king, then cataclysm comes around, level tracking on the map, better quest progression, 4 race that can be druids, mounts are account bound (I remember this as I never got the goblin trike with my warrior but i did use a kodo and I have so many ground mounts that became useless after a few expansions)
but the thing that excited me the most of classic were the stat set up, the levels being set and throwing the level scaling out of the window, combat felt releatively faster than modern wow. Now I can have an actual journey as I enjoyed the feeling when I did my goblin warrior, that was before draenor............
In short, I enjoy the conveniences but not the stat overhual and level scaling, its to much as I like the sense of a journey, going from the overworld and journey into outland then to northrend
I can’t wait. Tbc is so much better than vanilla
I heard on a separate channel blizzard put out an advert about phase 4 for classic Wow developers, and quite a few. If true they alwere probably for TBC not classic. That convinced me as much as anything.
We need a fresh start like deathknights had maybe a week before launch instead of starting at 60 that way we don’t have to worry much about gold etc.
Tempest of Chaos, here I come
sorry it's reserved for my prot pally
That was that caster sword from Hyjal right?
Yes, TBC please!! Blizzard make it happen!!
I heard shamans and paladins will become crossfaction
Yeah thats what happened in bc lol
@@kzpylj7729 thats the joke.
People. Like. A. Challenge. I dont know ehy its so hard for them to understand?
Maybe all the people on retailed crying how unfair it was they didn't get to experience raid content? They made raids brain dead easy and purples for all to appease them
TBC survey was there to pump the hype, carrot on the stick so to speak, to keep player involved in Vanilla, paying monthly sub while waiting and preparing for TBC...clever and cunning from Blizzard side.
Based on the success of classic of course they will make a tbc classic. We may even need to pay for this expansion.
i would only be willing to pay if they were willing to put in some extra work in terms of class balance, new mechanics to bosses to make them a little more challenging and things like that
TBC with attunements pls
Yes
if it wasn't for classic i don't think i would of came back to wow and give shadowlands a go, but i did and im loving it, bc would be that much better
Legend expansion
I want 2.4.3 itemization, however I also want heroic keys at revered (not honored !) and each and every single attunement.
Also 2.4.3 fixed a lot of issues and made a lot of things better. You sir sure don't know anything about TBC. A true enjoyable experience? I'll laugh in 2.4 when you'll do heroics to get better gear then what drops in Karazhan in 2.0 ! Your post makes no sense at all as your arguments are poor lmao. Get your facts straight next time before posting ;)
TBC will arrive when people are bored with shadowlands hehe
Hopefully we won't be bored of Shadowlands that fast :p
Haha so you are saying February then?
December?
March 2020 TBC will drop. At least thaf's what I think
So 2 days after release?
lol excited for bc but even more for wotlk classic
@ManicZ makes no sense tbh thats 3rd version of wow
Be nice but I'm not trying to grind to 60 again just to get to start tbc
Experience requirements for 1-60 drops significantly in TBC it is nothing like 1-60 vanilla
Of course TBC is coming, i have 100% proof.
$$$$$$$
why is everyone so hyped for tbc? What does tbc have to offer that classic doesn't? Mage aoe caps? pvp arenas? Flying mounts? Are these things worth killing classic over?
@k1z2oo8 what's wrong with world buffs? And I said besides arenas. Don't you want to clear the content faster?
1. Classic isn't going to be killed.
2. If it WAS going to be, then yes, it is worth killing it for :)
I cant wait to live BC again. But im more excited to get back to LK
launching TBC is failproof, they will make alot of money from it no matter what.
Target cap for AOE -> YES LORD AYE SAY YES LAWD YOU HAVE ANSWERED US SMHITYE THE MAGES WITH ALLL THY WRATH LAWD OAW YIS INDEEAD!
Eh that's one of the few downsides of TBC. AoE is nerfed and that means the end of boosting. I personally would like to see the AoE cap introduced after level 60. Leave the lower levels alone please.
@@d0k0night Actually not a bad shout.
@@d0k0night one of the downsides of tbc ???
Lmao go away, this is one of the best things of tbc, aoe cap, no more bullshit boosting by bullshit mages to earn money again and again and again.
People nowadays have to be FORCED To play the game instead of having the possibility to get boosted, man the solo experience and the leveling experience is a huge part of the game.
Boosting and gold-buying / botting, and multiboxing are the big cancers of wow classic. The latter was somewhat addressed, no more broadcasting, the former will be addressed in TBC and we all hope that blizzard will take HUGE measures against botting and real money trades.
Activision likes money. Only reason needed, to know they will release Classic TBC.
lets just hope they do put some real work in it so its not like a classic when p2 came out
Actually true that should be the only reason :p
Tbc one love...
Blizz please make fresh servers and institute fixes to all that you learned from classic PLEASE. EDIT: Wait, not learned, learned is the wrong word here, how about informed?
Wow Classic will be the last breath of this game. It could have been something too but the bots and out of region farmers have destroyed both classic and retail. I hate playing with zombies and will not continue to pay premium for a non premium game. Even if the game was free id be moving on. No GMs and hands off approach is nothing like it was 15 years ago. It was nice to go back but even the developers have left....... It is time guys after Naxx. Maybe 1 last good memory for the times. Time to find the new Nano/private! HMU if u know a good one
@Adrian no I have too much experience playing the original versions of this game. Activision did a bad job plain and simple.
Cry me a river bro my god.
#nochanges
What do you mean "What we know" ? Blizzard has literally said nothing about TBC.
If blizz reads this. Hi.
If TBC happens I’m done with Classic.
nice
We dont know anything about classic tbc from blizzard stop with this click bait shit
I would play that 100%, current wow sucks (there are literal feminists running the lore), I want to play something worth paying a subscription.
No fresh restarts or gold wipes for me please. Would be many wasted days of farming ore and plants to get the gold that I have now. Also classic was dull as fuck to level through. Fun for me is the end game when it comes to MMOs.
please hurry cuz shadowlands aint good
its gona be like classic vanilla, way to easy, so ut just became boring. they should tune it fot 2020. ts just sad that mc was cleard week one. i live the old game. but want it to be tuned for 2020 not 2010
What Classic TBC needs to be:
1) AoE nerfs to abilities happen AFTER level 60. Don't kill the boosting scene please.
2) Freshly rolled characters should get minimum a week's headstart. Then character transfers are unlocked
3) Force the FULL progression of TBC. Classic Vanilla was over far too soon. TBC should last 2-3 years minimum, with every phase extended.
Kill all the boosting scene, you cancer of the game, noone wants you in tbc
Keep it classic dont add tbc
y?
If TBC happens I’m done with Classic.
Same. Fuck TBC unless gets on separate servers so that they don’t scree up our Classic servers.
