they should keep an era of vanilla, tbc, and wrath. let us level a character through vanilla, and copy a character over to tbc whenever we want, then copy again to wrath, whenever we want. would be amazing. Ive been playing classic era for a little over a year and I love that I didnt have to rush to cap and it will never go away.
Yeah I agree with you totally. All three trilogy games should have their own "museum piece" servers Each with only 1-2 servers one of the biggest issues about WotlK/cata right now is that there are literally NO faction balanced servers. Consolidating servers together into either single mega-realm per region (which should be possible with layers? idk) would fix that problem or perhaps 1 pve and 1 pvp server.
I agree. They can launch fresh vanilla, progress to tbc and then wrath with an option to copy our characters at the end of each version to era servers. I already love vanilla and play it for years and sadly missed TBC and wrath classic mostly cus of irl, but would love an option when they're always available to be able to play them when I have the time.
They probably would have done this if people didn't just abandon Classic Era like mad. It's surreal how many tourists it had. My guild went from 999 members (300 online) to me being the ONLY PERSON on the whole server. "You think you do, but you don't" proved to be right for way too many people.

At the time they should have kept a single server (at the least) for vanilla, tbc and wrath. While allowing the players the option to either.... 1) continue leveling their character/s as normal (no looking back) 2) make a copy of their character/s as is to continue their adventure as normal while have their original character still intact and locked at the given level cap so they can still do the things they maybe haven't done. Wrath was perhaps my favorite but I would give just about anything to have a server or servers that allowed us to progress from Vanilla -> TBC -> Wrath at our own leisure.
Id say its because of 3 factors 1. at the time of TBC classic's release the nostalgia for Vanilla was still strong, even now its been 20 years since vanilla so its still got a strong nostalgic wave. TBC is just sort of becoming as nostalgic now. 2. they introduced boosts and tokens into TBC classic originally so a lot of people who might have wanted to play otherwise quit the game 3. They did not keep any TBC era servers active, thus making an artificial scarcity for TBC realms (its also the hardest expansion for private servers to emulate of the classic expansions, i mean the game was buggy as shit on release wasnt as clean and polished as vanilla on the backend so its very hard to script things), the same thing will happen with WoTLK realms in a couple years. I think blizzard knows what they are doing though, pulling those versions so people want them. Wouldnt be surprised if next season of discovery/hardcore is going to take place in TBC and fill that void. All this loops back around to probably having rotating seasonal classic realms of different variety, era, hardcore and classic + realms.
Tbc was the closest to classic+ we got. Class changes, talents etc were so good. They should do every changes tbc offered for classic with more content = big success for classic enjoyers.
part of what tanked TBC was the lack of fresh as well as the new cash options, all the ill-gotten gains from the bot abuse being carried over was unacceptable for many and the paid boost ruined it for those who had leveled alts in prep for TBC, if these issues were fixed we could have saw a lot more people coming back from vanilla and new players in general.

To be honest I’d just like them to do the trilogy on a reset and start fresh. During this period I had two kids and have found it hard to find the time to play.
The bottom line is, people aren’t playing cata or vanilla or hardcore or retail if they like BC. Those players are just not subbed at all and either doing irl/other games or are on private servers. Blizzard is losing/doing themselves an injustice by not having Era TBC and Era Wrath servers.
What do you mean “could”? It’s coming back before this end of year. Stop giving blizzard money for Body type 1s and 2s and start playing Warmane’s Onyxia - currently vanilla, tbc releasing in Nov.
As a vanilla player (with a full time job) that returned because of SoD i completely disagree with you about raid difficulty. Because all challenge is taken out of raids; anyone should be able to kill it and even the most hardcore players should be able to kill it within 2 resets, the only challenge that remains PvE wise is logging. This then forces everyone to have full worldbufs/enchants to get close to the fastest kills and highest dps, which in turn makes it just about maximizing efficiency and goldfarm. This is an MMORPG, not a single player game; if you take away all hurdles to progress within the game people turn to 3th party websites that track 'your progress' instead of the vanilla mechanic where the gear you collect reflects your progress. Same goes for PvP, all items should be available to anyone which then creates the WSG/AB rep workarounds which then kills the battlegounds because it's more efficient to use the catchup mechanic than to play the battleground. Blizzard is listening to opinions like yours all the time even though the player count is decreasing, somehow they don't seem to realize fast easy content and short term satisfication is not what made this game what it is.
I can't imagine doing one or two servers would be hard for them. They objectively don't care and barely do anything once the servers go live anyways...don't pretend it's because you don't have the manpower to maintain it "effectively" when you never intended to maintain it at all 😅 just give us one or two bc servers and then you can forget about them like you were gonna anyway
TBC was the one classic expansion that I missed due to burning myself out on Era when it was current. Would love for a TBC Era server to be done for it so that I can experience what I missed (for a second time).
i actually feel like TBC wasnt very difficult. TBC did well because it took time to get geared for raids. u needed to run many heroic dungeons and lesser raids like Kara. plus the attunement quests. i cant think of any moment i was just raid logging. but WOTLK, i was instantly raiding Naxx and raid logging not too soon after hitting 80. I dont even remember my leveling experience in wrath. i was 80 so quick, it was mindless. but i clearly remember leveling to 70 in TBC. not to mention, Shattrath is a much better city than Dalaran imo. getting rid of flying in a city??? why?
If they do TBC era they should give 2pvp and 2pve and a rp server that "evolve" from classic otherwise it will be rough to wait for the outland area until you level up all the way again. Of course people will do it for the new races but that's a different story.
I really want TBC era too. The only problem is the 1-60 leveling will be a huge hurdle to get players into it, but there are numerous solutions for that.
I want tbc back, i loved it the first couple phases but had to quit playing because of life, i would quit all other versions of wow to just play tbc again. I think it is nostalgia but it has a charm to it. Its classic but extended upon. You have more of your class, but not an overabundance like wrath. The content is harder and more meaningful than classic, but not the rediculousness of wrath. I think its the perfect middle ground for me and I WANT TBC BACK
I was so mad they removed TBC. Yeah the most competitive players finished. But the Moms, dads, and fulltime workers with more responsibilities than just gaming in our free time were only wrapping the tier1 raids, * if * that. And we got forced into WotLK (which is a nice xpac, I just dont like it as much... except for the QoL with faster resource gathering). I would be on board for a resurrections of Classic TBC only AND ONLY IF it's a permanent era server this time, with no forced progression into wrath (I would be okay for the prepatch tho, to have DKs and a few nice QoLs) and no resets. If we have one server of each PvP and PvE and shared faction Auction houses/transfer items cross faction between our own characters on the same server then a low population is much less of a problem, IMHO... I hope they do that...
Also love TBC. good solution is to go to Warmane Onyxia server they realease new TBC fresh one . also Stormforg realse fresh TBC server in early 2025. Theese 2 are far the best TBC server with hight population, i'm in!
Warmane will have tbc server in a month . Their onyxia clasic server will become tbc there will be like 10k players so a verry good server to play on who ever wants to play tbc
TBC was peak WoW balance, not just classes but the fact that quirky items still mattered, it still felt like almost Vanilla, and it wasnt yet an abberation like the rest of the xpacks
I really love TBC as well, BUT with a big caveat. Once we get to the launch of sunwell and especially the isle of quel danas, I personally always quit. The whole deal with dailies and especially badge farming for gear that is sometimes better than the gear you get from BT/MH just kills it for me. I find zero motivation after that point, because it breaks the established norm from vanilla and early TBC. You progress through the game and the raids, but suddenly here comes isle of quel danas and lets every potato gear up to the current raid. I remember back in 2008 when I spent months trying to get a 2h weapon upgrade for my ret paladin in BT/MH/ZA, with no luck. Then came isle, and I could immediately buy a bis axe for 150 badges. Quit right on the spot there, it was just too infuriating to see all my work and progression go down the drain for some wellfare epics that were available to everyone.
I've been screaming from the rooftops for TBC since 2019, gave my voice a rest during TBCC, and have commenced screaming once more the moment we didn't get era servers. Blizz Pls.
What?! No! People came back to Era during Wrath because of the HC addon hype. How do you not know that? If the HC addon came out earlier, people would leave TBC to go to Era.

The bottom line is, people aren’t playing cata or vanilla or hardcore or retail if they like BC. Those players are just not subbed at all and either doing irl/other games or are on private servers. Blizzard is losing/doing themselves an injustice by not having Era TBC and Era Wrath servers.
TBC is the best version of WOW ive ever played even that i dont like to play cata atm if they bring TBC back 100% ill be back and keep playing
Blizzard is listening to opinions like yours all the time even though the player count is decreasing, somehow they don't seem to realize fast easy content and short term satisfication is not what made this game what it is.
i really dont understand why they dont put up 1 tbc server and 1 wrath server let people play what ever they want
SoD should continue into TBC, might be an impopular opnion but Id really love it
I can't imagine doing one or two servers would be hard for them. They objectively don't care and barely do anything once the servers go live anyways...don't pretend it's because you don't have the manpower to maintain it "effectively" when you never intended to maintain it at all 😅 just give us one or two bc servers and then you can forget about them like you were gonna anyway
An era server of each just hanging around isnt a bad thing. You for sure dont want a lot of them separating out a limited playerbase.
tbc is by far my favorite version of wow
TBC was the one classic expansion that I missed due to burning myself out on Era when it was current. Would love for a TBC Era server to be done for it so that I can experience what I missed (for a second time).
i actually feel like TBC wasnt very difficult. TBC did well because it took time to get geared for raids. u needed to run many heroic dungeons and lesser raids like Kara. plus the attunement quests. i cant think of any moment i was just raid logging. but WOTLK, i was instantly raiding Naxx and raid logging not too soon after hitting 80. I dont even remember my leveling experience in wrath. i was 80 so quick, it was mindless. but i clearly remember leveling to 70 in TBC. not to mention, Shattrath is a much better city than Dalaran imo. getting rid of flying in a city??? why?
Could they do a SoD for TBC?
If they do TBC era they should give 2pvp and 2pve and a rp server that "evolve" from classic otherwise it will be rough to wait for the outland area until you level up all the way again. Of course people will do it for the new races but that's a different story.
I want turbo xp burning crusade, no auction house, token gear vendors or heirlooms.
It can be hardcore WoW mode too, here for it.
I really want TBC era too. The only problem is the 1-60 leveling will be a huge hurdle to get players into it, but there are numerous solutions for that.
they can do so many things to ease this hurdle, lvl 60 boost, double xp 1-60 etc
How can you not like the TBC era? To me it was and will always be the most fun I ever had in WoW. ( and I mean back in 2007)
I'd stay in TBC forever if they let us. I would like however, if they did small minor changes. Such as adding dual spec.
I think its the perfect middle ground for me and I WANT TBC BACK
If they released TBC, OR at least kept one progressed server I am not playing anything else (now playing SoD and Cata)
TBC was peak WoW. Top 2 best games of all time, competing with Scholar of the First Sin.
Would love A TBC SOD
I totally agree. TBC was the best
Bring it back!! Just one Server ❤
TBC was peak WoW balance, not just classes but the fact that quirky items still mattered, it still felt like almost Vanilla, and it wasnt yet an abberation like the rest of the xpacks
because it was vanilla with minor tweaks. the game didnt start actually getting good until late Wrath.
@@Shiirow You mean the game didnt start to get shit
@@pjrotsaert2832 wrath was peak. Cata is shit
@@silentslayergaming8469 lol if you mean 'peak' as in the point where the game started losing subs then yes , wrath was indeed peak :P
I love tbc so much. The classes were perfect, the world was perfect and the Raids were the best. I want tbc era so bad Blizzard please
As long as they take away the automation of hunter pve .... best version of wow for me too
The only problem with TBC was that it killed the old world. But overall I love the zones, the classes ( and variety), raids and just the general vibe.
Only because of level boosts. The old world is very much relevant in tbc otherwise.
I just want wrath back, there was no reason to go onto cataclysm it defeats the whole point of wanting classic in the first place.
I miss tbc so much best time ever ss a healer pls bring it back.
TBC Season of Restraint, bring up the lower classes closer to the top tier, tune the bosses and raids for like 10% dmg and hp, and don't retail it like SoD. YW Blizz.
TBC favorite expansion
Mannnnn I'm so craving TBC right now but I don't wanna go back to shitty private servers :/
Bored ... very, very bored. Bring back TBC! It is best by a long, long way. TBC has it all. BGs, raids, questing, it was all better!
If they added TBC, i see that as a total win for us classic players, after people have finished the weekly ST raid on several characters then what? Well, could log on tbc =) Thats just my thought though.
Waiting for fresh progression servers : Vanilla, followed by TBC, followed by Wotlk.
i really want tbc back, and yes casuals like myself dont want raids that are too hard and time consuming, good video!
I have not seen 1 person ask for BC again 😂, cata is actually super fun. But for real though, BC caster rotation is a snoozefest and I remember everyone literally raid logging if they werent arenaing
It’s a vocal minority. Let’s be real for a moment. TBC will go the same route as basically every PS does. People are initially hyped but 4 weeks in 95% have stopped playing, waiting für the next fresh server.
