I never heard of Softr before. Its really amazing. Very interesting how they make it so easy to make tons and tons of apps but limit it with that pricing model. I want to look into other SAAS businesses with that pricing model, of free, then aggressively limiting users.
Softr is really cool. I can see how it makes sense for those playing around with an idea, and those who decide to build on it. You avoid a lot of coding - which can get very expensive much more than you may realize. (Speaking from experience with Upwork.)
Great videos especially the ones on building directory sites. Which do you prefer, Unicorn or softr/airtable, they both look great in your videos, but I'm assuming you favour one over the other?
Right now Unicorn is integrated with Google Sheets. I want to get more into Airtable and have my assistant be able to add data. When it comes to multimedia and images, I find Airtable to be more stable to build a site from. So I’ll be building it using Airtable for this project. I do want to become more comfortable building with no code and I think using Airtable and Softr is a good step
The blogging feature is basic. But it’s clean. You can set a separate subdomain to something like ghost or Wordpress if you prefer to use a different platform specific for blogging. I am going to use the Softr blog for my project, personally.
The issue that I think I see with Softr is that it limits the number of users that can have access to my app/site. So, here is a question, suppose I build a business listing directory, where I charge people per listing, I am assuming that there more listings I have the higher my subscription payment for SOftr will be, am I right?
Correct. If you are building a directory with a lot of members, you have to look at the costs for that. In my directory I’m not concerned with members. So it might not be the best option if you need to make your project Cashflow immediately

How is the blogging feature? I’ve heard mixed things about it.
