I'f you're having a rough day, maybe even a rough week, I highly recommend this. If you DO want to make molds, you've come to the right place. There are hilarious but brilliant tutorials to teach you how to make molds with, for example, corns starch and silicone. The commercial product for making molds on Amazon inItaly costs 40 Euros. Cornstarch and silicone might cost you 40 cents.

Crafsman, I do children's crafts in libraries, and you can do something very similar to this for a kids' science activity! Cornstarch + cheap hair conditioner + food coloring = something that feels very similar to Play-Doh. You don't even need exact ratios, you can just let the kids experiment in a big bowl until it feels right. I think it's really cool that your putty technique works almost the same! Thanks for the great videos as always - I know this is an old one, I'm going back through the archives :)

I just gotta thank you so much Crafsman for sharing this video! I went out and got me some 100% silicone - same brand - looks just like the one you got except it had this little "Silicone 2*" at the top! So I went back to the store real quick and got the correct one (type 2). I also grabbed me some of that Amazing Mold Putty too earlier in the day. Here's on thing I'm gonna try and make: Imagine a pair of high-top sneakers, painted the same color green as a circuit board. Then I'm gonna paint gold traces all over them. I'm gonna make me a bunch of ICs, resistors, capacitors etc and I'm gonna go to town on 'em! I feel so inspired, happy and empowered! Thank you for making life a little bit better!

THAT SOUNDS WONDERFUL! I was just in Radio Shack a few days ago, reminiscing about how I'd go in there to buy some resistors, LEDs, batter holders, etc. for whatever little project I was working on. So I'm a big fan of your idea! :D
