@@LUNAHT3 FACTS and tbh Fractal is like the pillar of the modern Tetris competitive scene. He has done SO MUCH for the scene. He wants Tetris to grow even more. And he knew that if Blue Scuti beats Tetris, it'd only be better for the game. He loves the Game and its community.
I have immense respect for Fractal, and considering he's also the 2nd person to beat tetris and the current Classic Tetris World Champion truly showcase that he's the GOAT that has ever touched the game. BlueScuti is an amazing prodigy and I can see a really bright future in this boy in the future of the competitive scene but the accomplishments and contributions that Fractal has made are amazing and should be praised.
Eric, Fractal, Dog, Scuti, Cheez and Andy are seriously so humble. There are other players too who are kind and nice to players. It's shocking how cool the entire scene is. They're not even too old but they're all have a really nice heart and a competitive spirit.

Bro seeing this just made me realise just how insane Scuti's accomplishment is; you have to make so *so* many lightning-fast decisions on piece placements while at maximum gravity, and with how long you eventually end up spending in a single run, it really does feel like an agonising test of mental stamina. And I haven't even played NES Tetris or Tetris in general this much!

I like how this video shows all the conflicting emotions Fractal went through specifically during this moment as it happened. The desire to truly be the first and in the back of his mind hoping he tops out. Watching him get through charcoal, which leads him to focus more on the, "Wow. This might actually happen, this is going to be huge!" & willingly cheering him on, but most importantly, Fractal's reaction after the crash. His celebration for Scuti & the achievement is genuine, you can feel he is sincerely happy that the crash had happened, but as it continues you can feel the regret he has for not being able to be the first one. Of course that feeling 100% mellowed out after a while, and he got the earliest possible crash as well as being the 2nd ever to beat Tetris about 2 weeks later, but his feelings on the day must've been such a cluster, a happy frustration of sorts 😂

Of course he cares and of course it hurts to miss it, but he's struggling against his instincts to try to be a good sport. He (along with the whole competitive Tetris community) is an amazing sport and was super happy for Scuti. Still, I believed that Blue Scuti and anyone who crashed the game should have gotten recognition one after another. It would be like that time with the Tokyo Olympics 2020 when two guys at the high jump event, actually tied for 1st in the rarest moment in their lives. Not willing to be too competitive and given that moment to both be 1st, they both won gold for their country in the most awesome way possible.
Sometimes people get into that 1st place spot and put somebody on the pedestal so quick that there's not much room for such rarities. It should be though. Blue Scuti pushed Fractal, AndyPixel, and others one after another. That feat is always going to be remembered for me.

With that sportsmanship, Fractal deserved the second win.
Otherworldly GGs to both of them. They’re both gods among mortals in the world of Tetris.
The two best players Tetris has ever came across.

@@woohooo4936 okay? But they both play over 5+ hours of tetris a day, doctors recommend 30-90 minutes of gaming every day, it’s just not healthy no matter what way you put it, it has nothing to do with what they achieved or what record either, scuti looks pale and frail, right after he got the record he said he couldn’t feel his hands and was about to pass out, it’s not healthy and they need to get more physical activity, cycling or playing bowling once a month doesn’t count

@@ChickenJoe-tq6xd You're assuming they do those physical activities once a month? People can live healthy lives and play more than 3 hrs of video games per day, its not that uncommon to hear or see. Fractal doesnt even play that long everyday lmao and scutis taking advantage of his time by playing tetris and earning money at a young age. Seems like they're pretty successful
