      Hi Ian. What a nice comment, thankyou mate. I'll look forward to checking out your content. I love my fishing, but it's the whole experience that captivates me. I used to watch RUclips videos and feel inspired to get out, hopefully my videos do the same, and encourage people to get out, embrace the elements and try something different. It's very good for the soul in such a busy world✌️ All the best mate, thanks again.

    I used to fish in this spot as a teenager. There was massive bass and wrasse! I built a long pole for a drop net on a rope to bring up the fish on the cliff top, it worked well.

      Definitely one of the most difficult marks to land fish. I have seen all sorts of landing devices over the years. Harnessing up and climbing down with a drop net is the best way but also the most dangerous so I would not recommend

    Hi Dave,
    Really enjoying watching your videos. In this one you walk right past a little cottage we have just stayed in Worth Matravers. Lovely walk down to Winspit quarry. Isle of Purbeck is a magical place.
    All the best.

      Thankyou. One of the nicest walks. I dream of living in that cottage, so beautiful :)

    Another great video Dave. Awesome scenery and fabulous footage. The Hawk Moth was great to see, and whilst the Bream were not playing ball, you had a couple of nice Bass & Pollock. Back from just over 2 weeks in Froggy France, operation catchup in progress! Tight lines - stay safe & well. 🎣🎣👍👍

      Sorry mate, only just seen this. I hope you had a nice time in France. It was the first time I had seen a Hawk Moth, awesome species! Shame it got caught in a spiders web shortly after. I returned a week later and the spider had doubled in size, clearly made a good meal! Take care mate

      @@coasttocountryThanks Dave! France was good but we had no mains water 3 days before we were due to come home, so a mad rush to sort it out before we left. Got it done. There's always something that crops up over there. Worried about storm Ciaran over there as we have loads of Trees. They've had it bad over there with 160kmph winds. Might pop over to check all is well.

    Huge well done Dave , on the fish, shame not the target, wish you very tight lines on the next hunt.
    It's one place I have never fished , looks absolutely beautiful there. Love to be there , amazing.
    I had a chuckle to myself with the rocks to stop you falling off the edge, " it not high, broken arm opposed to broken back" love it
    Look forward to the next one mate 🤞🎣

    Love it down Winspit.

      Not on this occasion mate. Aww nice, I'm very jealous. I'm limited to gentle under arm casts so it will have to be bass for me. Hope you manage to find one

    Fantastic job mate, those bass were beautiful, shame you missed those fish, the bites were so positive! I don’t know how you manage to capture the Milky Way so clearly, I’ve never seen it quite like that, is it enhanced by the camera at all?…breathtaking! 👍👍👍

    • @coasttocountry
      @coasttocountry  Год назад +1

      Definitely looked like bream bites but I've been telling myself they were big pout 🤣 I increase the exposure and clarity but that's about it. Takes me a while to locate the Milky Way sometimes but when I do, it's as clear as day. My DSLR is quite good in low light, which helps. Shame its not clear tomorrow, as there's a comet passing earth that you should be able to see with the naked eye.

    Great looking bass. Shame about the lack of bream but the venue looks good. Is that near to Swanage ?

    • @coasttocountry
      @coasttocountry  Год назад

      It is mate. I fish about 6 marks between Swanage and Lulworth Cove. The most productive spots are Hedbury, St Albans, Seacombe, Winspit and Fossil Forest! All known to throw up some monster bream

    • @coasttocountry
      @coasttocountry  Год назад

      Cheers mate. This mark is between Winspit and Seacombe in Dorset but there are several marks that are similar. Hedbury is lesser known, Dancing Ledge also a great spot
