Fantastic Graeme, I have read countless books to gain a better knowledge of the sport, and I have learnt so much more from your u tube vids than any books have to offer, you do the best sea fishing vids on you tube, keep up the hard work and a big thank you.
Nice video as usual chaps, some good tips in there for anyone who loves there sea fishing. Have always wanted to fish Chesil, seems such a diverse beach, for all manner of species. It reminds me of one of my favourite beaches to fish in Suffolk, Orford island! Anyway, keep up the great work. Be lucky and tight lines, cheers Chris.
Great videos taught me everything I needed to know caught a decent Pollock today thanks for the educational information really enjoyable hobby can't wait for more thanks again!!
Well done Graeme another great vid. Worth the wait, one of my faves, other one was you and mike on the river perch and pike. Reasons are I'm into drop shotting for perch and couple of years ago started sea fishing, so two great informative vids . Thanks for all your time and hard work we the army really really really appreciate :))
I love this channel. I live in Scotland and the tips and tricks transfer. for example I dig all my bait, as 15 year old a lack of money means I cant fish as much. bout now every day is a fishing day in the holiday thanks. :)
Many thanks for this great video. Sitting here in my hotel room in Tenerife watching Totally Awesome, maybe I've crossed the fine line between keen and sad. cheers!!!
Great Video, couldn't agree more with your final shot. We don't fish just catch fish. Which is just as well because there are hardly any out left out there!
I took your advice and tries something new for the first time today. Used my small rod with a squid head on and cast about 4 meters out into the surf where I knew a shelf was. After ten minutes, bang, caught a bass. Thanks for the good advice and good videos
Graeme my old man retired to a sea side town this year and when I visit we’ve started fishing, your videos have been a great help to us and gives me a reason to visit him more than I would’ve, I’m even considering buying us a boat I’m “hooked” on your channel 😅🙁.... sorry
My first time watching your videos and i'm amazed how different things are where you are. The beaches , the kind of fish you fish for and the methods you use to catch fish... You opened my eyes to a different way of fishing .I had a hard time understanding your accent but after a few videos no problem ... .keep up the good work.
made a rice swim feeder for the sea Worked great rice with chopped up whitebait A good tip from your show I was totally pleased with the 17 gd place yesterday I'm sure it got bigger fish in the swim
greame I'm a pretty experienced fisherman I watch your shows for tips mate, first port of call actually.I wouldn't be so concerned about saying experienced guys move along, you're an encylopedia of knowledge to the best of us greame!!:)
i couldn't help but notice that you said, multipliers will cast further than a fix spools i do use a multiplier i have a abu 7500 ct c3 very nice real but i did change to the penn surf master 750 and i loved it and i cast a lot further but there was some thing i didn't like about fixed spools i just can't put my finger on it..
The mullet looked like a thicklip to me despite the gold markings . The golden grey mullet has a defined gold spot on the gill cover , longer pectorial fin and is also more slimy than this one looked . Although i have caught flounders and eels on earth worms in estuaries i wouldn't waste my time using them in the open sea.
hi Graeme, i am pretty new to shore fishing and I only have a couple of rubbishy carp rods, i was wondering if you could name any rods and reels that would be good for some beach fishing and that are not to expensive. thank you, hope to hear back.
Sorry, but all my beach rods are old and out of date.I never change them so don't know what the latest fashion craze on beach rods might be.You might find secondhand. Good makes are Conoflex or Zziplex . Maybe check out Ebay ?
That mullet looks like a Golden Grey.... get them on surf beaches in South Wales.. good eaters cos are clean surf water (like bass). You won't get GG unless water is good. Other mullet tend to reside in harbours/estuaries and as such tend to taste very earthy/muddy... not nice at all... even if you do pull a 'standard' grey mullet from a beach the chances are it got lost and will still taste pretty rank! Trust me on this....
Nice video as usual Graeme. I was wondering why you never hear anyone catching herring from the shore. Its my favorite eating fish and apart from a bass I would like to catch one I have never caught either yet.
Hi Graeme Nothing to do with this Video where did you fish in Southern Ireland of the rocks and you stayed in a bed and breakfast place where the bloke took you out fishing of the rocks 👍thank you.
@@TAFishing thank you Graham is the bed and breakfast place still doing fishing trips , still haven’t used them lures you sold me at Farnham still watch all your videos and your son videos keep up the good work 👍
Best bait is a live Ragworm called Harbour rag or Maddy .Also a species called White Ragworm. Our UK mullet grow large,to over 10lbs,average probably 3lbs.In Ireland they will take cubes of mackerel, also bread, and flyfishing for them in skinny water using a sand fly imitation is also successful.A great fighting fish, and often tricky to catch.
***** Cool. Other anglers here in Florida always have told me that you can never get a mullet with a hook, only a net. Though in the past three years, I've hooked two. I always figured it was a fluke event, because I fish amongst schools of them very often.

Awesome angling Graeme as always, keep up the great work!
I love the tips as much as the fishing! Thanks Graeme!

I always enjoy old TA videos, Regards from IRAN
The simplest tips are often the best, the tip regarding the bait elastic...genius. Why didn't I think of that!

Good stuff, glad the tips work for you. We've often caught fish by casting close in
Nice fish man I have the same shelter and it is a god send in those horrible wet nights

Golden Grey Mullet, Graeme.
When will we get to see the Zander show that you were filming recently?
well done sir! very much enjoyed your vid!

That is a Golden Grey, scientific name is Liza aurata. The UK shore caught record is 3lb 8oz. I wish I knew what that one weighed. Nice catch.
Great video Graeme thanks for sharing mate,
Atb Hunter
here in florida they say ya cant catch mullet on a bait!!! omg thank you for showing this!!!
am going fishing in Wales on the beech bit rocky then sand what is best bait to use or combinations
one time I was out fishing on a pier in bundoran, Ireland when I saw a long dark shape in about 6 ft of rocky, seaweedy water. any ideas what it was
Great video Graeme, handy tips as usual, you should try there in the Winter as I m told the cod fishing can be good? Loved the booty lol
Very helpful thank you:)
Barefoot on Chesil can be dangerous in the surf reeling in and the shingle gave way and there was someone’s lost feathers weight and line
Thanks for a great video.

how about a video doing sea fishing in a kayak. I would love to see how that's done.
Graeme do a video on fly fishing for pike!
Graeme what do you think of the blackrock 13ft competition rod? Have you heard any good reviews about it or anything? Thanks
Sorry, never even heard of the rod. Maybe type it into your search engine, add the word "forums" and wee what others have been saying about it.
Nice Video Thaks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great Video man!!!! You are big
were you talking about north carolina usa. ?
Yes.the Outer Banks.Great surf fishing and really good bluewater sport offshore.
I'm trying to catch mullet fish very difficult to catch
Thats a golden grey for sure
Please tell me best baits for mullet fishing
Bread or ragworm sections.
nice mullet their Graeme!
Did he catch the mullet on squid or worm ?
John Murphy ragworm tipped off with a small strip of squid mate.

should I use beach worms for beach fishing bate
That would be the best way the be dig your own or find a tackle shop that supplies them.
Nice video as usual Graeme.
I was wondering why you never hear anyone catching herring from the shore. Its my favorite eating fish and apart from a bass I would like to catch one I have never caught either yet.
I second this question. Why don't we catch them they must be there because the seals are there.
My guess is that that as they feed on plankton, they don't take hook baits. Anyone?
Maybe get a really small hook ;-)
8:31 ... just get a 99p nail-clipper from Wilkos.... cheaper and better.. ;-)
I've been their weather was terrible though. their was just one guy who caught 1 whiting on the entire beach
Hi Graeme Nothing to do with this Video where did you fish in Southern Ireland of the rocks and you stayed in a bed and breakfast place where the bloke took you out fishing of the rocks 👍thank you.
Beara peninsula...but he has sold it and gone to the Canary Islands...The fish will still be there though.
@@TAFishing thank you Graham is the bed and breakfast place still doing fishing trips , still haven’t used them lures you sold me at Farnham still watch all your videos and your son videos keep up the good work 👍
Number 303 like
I think I should get on it tomorrow morning and go fishing.
What other species will take earthworm
Flatfish like Flounders,Dabs or Plaice
I've caught cod on earthworm in the Bristol channel after heavy rain ;) and they say fisherman dont share secrets.
and how far out were you when you caught that mullet?
+JJCWhitey56 If you mean casting distance,I have no idea.Ten yards maybe ?
Blimey is that all?
jiopslxjj jcvm, but the page quite w the ogj fb, jlj chi
A mullet? On live bait? I thought they were vegetarians?
what do you think marty different way of fishing ?

Different species in England, I've heard you can catch them on spinnerbaits their. But bread works good in florida
+BenZ Fishing You catch Thin lipped Mullet on small Mepp spinners.
👏👏👍👍
CooLLLLL
That is a thick lipped mullet not a golden grey, the fins are all wrong for a goldie
First comment that is totaly awesome and useless
