Phone mount is a little redundant since you have CarPlay. Should've did the front USB relocate to the back and then you can run the usb to the glove or armrest and you can do wireless adapter
I actually prefer to have the phone there as CarPlay is good but often times I need to pick up my phone for music or maps, the scrolling features etc on the PCCM are not THE BEST and it’s not in my line of sight so looking down for too long isn’t great either. Not a terrible suggestion though, it’s just preference🤷🏾♂️
Thanks for sharing, I absolutely love the 911/ 997 and it is my dream car. I have been so hesitant to pull the trigger on a 997.1 or a 997.2. I guess I shouldn't read so much into bore scoring and ims issues if the car is still running in 2024...
I’d def say if you can get a .2 get a .2, and if you want a .1 don’t let the potential issues stop you. Do your due diligence and understand and be prepared for the maintenance cost just in case. Don’t be afraid most of these cars are good to go !
Great Video! Are you happy with the reverse camera you used and how is the clarity? Also have you had any issues with the volume of the PCCM+ not being loud enough when using Apple Car play? I have this issue with my newly installed PCCM+ on my Cab and I have seen similar issues mentioned on forums. Not sure how to fix this issue. Thanks..
Hey, clarity is great , my camera skills are improving so it might not look good in the clip I made here but it is good. Only thing we could have done better on is placement, the bumperette is slightly distracting so I believe if the camera was placed on the left license plate light it would be centered and perfect. But with that being said I have no problems with its current placement because it’s just and aid to ensure you’re not going to bump into anything . As for the sound quality I think it’s always been great. I do have aftermarket speakers in my car and not equipped with Bose either. This could be the reason… if you have factory non Bose speakers, swap them out!

21:00 that extra harness is a resistor to not have the error come up (for side marker bulb out). Don't you have that error coming up in the dash now?
