  • Thanks for watching!
Welcome to Tutorial #3 of my 3D design & print tutorial series.
How to make a custom pipe clip for 14mm OD pipe.
I look at designing the pipe clip in Design Spark Mechanical, exporting the file to Super Slicer, Slicing it and saving the GCODE file for printing on the my CR10 3D printer. I then look at printing the clips on the printer in PETG. I look at quality issues.
It is another lengthy video but I pack a lot in. Again, please don’t feel the need to watch all of it.
I look at how to diagnose a cracked extruder arm on the CR10 as well. This might also apply to the Ender 3 printer with the same extruder.
Please consider liking and subscribing if you found the video useful. Smash the bell to be informed when I upload a new video.
This version of the CR10 was sold by Hictop and is no longer available. To the best of my knowledge it is identical to the Creality CR10 of the same era.
The STL file can be downloaded from Thingiverse

    Kind regards & Best wishes.

Stringing is caused by the hot end being too hot for the fillament. I only use PLA and always printed at 200c, but I started to get a lot of stringing. I lowered the temp down to 197c and get a lot less stringing. I know it is not the same as you use, but it might help.
