This was really soothing to watch, it's obvious that you treat your clients with such a gentle hand! One of my favorite things is when the person in my chair says they are getting sleepy 😂 I feel like it's proof that I treat their skin with love and care.
I have to say that I just love your videos, you have such great insightful info. I have been doing makeup on and off for years, and I totally agree why not share the knowledge. You can’t try everything, so it is great to hear about different products, techniques, as well as experiences that are similar to your own…lol Also I just wanted to say, that you are incredible at explaining and teaching others, I can see that you have a passion for this side of things. I believe that you would have a lot to offer in a master class….You go girl!!! I can’t wait to see your next video ☺️👍
Aww thank you so much Trish!! I really appreciate you saying all of that. I’m so incredibly happy to know that you’ve gotten some really great info from my videos. We never stop learning as artists :) I’ve been thinking of doing master classes in the future, but maybe not for a couple more years. I’m sure you’ll do great getting back into the swing of things!
Thank you for the foundation method tip, I am also heavy handed sometimes. I like going in with a foundation brush then a sponge but I think I'll use a concealer brush now for more control
Definitely! It does take longer bc you’re working with a smaller brush but you can really get in hard to reach areas like around the nose which is nice :)
Hi Asen! I did a similar look on myself for my bridal makeup a couple years ago. Here is the link if you want to check it out: ruclips.net/video/fdG4kD9XtZM/видео.html
Thanks so much Julie! Could you do a timesheet of how long you spend on each area? Eg brows 5 mins, eyes 15 mins, base 20 mins so we know how much we should be aiming for? Thanks so much!
Hi Yvonne! Honestly, I prefer not to do this bc each artist works in a different way. For instance, some artists do more dramatic eye looks so it’ll naturally take them longer. Then some use cream contour and then go in with powder which takes longer there. As long as your overall time is around 40-50 minutes then I think you should be good! I would recommend timing yourself on each area and see which part takes you the longest personally and then try to find ways to speed up. For me eyes takes the longest!
She looks so beautiful and I apply foundation the same way for the same reason! I have been waiting to purchase the face atelier foundation but I think I’m sold! I would love to know what shades your carry in your kit!
Hi Samantha! Thank you so much :) yes I’ve found that putting it on with a smaller brush first is way better for control and coverage. Also, you definitely need Face Atelier in your life. It’s seriously my favorite and I haven’t replaced it in the 4 years I’ve been freelancing. I made a video a while back with the shades, swatches& other info about the foundation. I have the benefit brow powder palette in my kit, I've never used powders much for brows til now and i have to say, I'm not loving it. I know it's user error, but for clients with sparse brows or even need part of the brow drawn on how the heck do you get powder to work? And if u don't, what else can I use that's sanitary
It’s definitely personal preference!! If I ever have clients that have more sparse brows I go in with a brow wax first to create a sticky base then go in with powder :)

Beautiful
Thank you so much!! :)
Do you depot the Fresh rose toner for your kit and if you do, what kind of bottle do you put it in?
Yes I have! I found found some squeeze bottles from Amazon :) I use a syringe to get it out so I don’t pick up the rose petals inside.
@@julieruby perfect! Thank you! I’m picking it up at the Sephora sale because of your recommendation on it!
