    I know nothing about yarn and any arts associated with them, but I still enjoyed learning about it!

    I never got into this myself, but my mother did for a while when I was a kid, and I was completely enamoured with watching the process!
    Those rolls are so, so gorgeous.
    It was fun seeing it again!

    Great video, a very clear demonstration on how to use the blending board. Such a clever idea to use a knitting needle gauge for a Diz, I would never have thought of that one. I loved the way you described the different yarns too. Looking forward to the next videos.

    Finally after all the Spinning and blending videos I’ve watched I got yours💕 I was like she paints, colors, and does lots of other art like me. I’ve been knitting for years but just started spinning in June. I got my 1st wheel this month and love it. I ended up making a blending board and it turned out awesome. So looking forward to seeing more of your Fiber videos.

    Hello Karina, I know this is nothing to do with the video, but I've just had a newsletter from Jacksons Art and i thought you might be interested. They have contacted 19 manufacturers of art materials about renaming their 'flesh coloured' pencils and other mediums. They've had a really good response. I know Faber Castell have already done it with their pencils which used to be called Light, Medium and Dark Flesh and are now Salmon, Coral and beige red. If you get their newsletter it's worth reading this article. Best wishes

    What’s the difference between thin layers and thicker layers on the BB? I imagine it would blend more throughout the spin if it’s in thin layers, more distinct sections in the thicker layers or clumps. 🤔. Lots of helpful advice, thank you!!🎉

    • @ColoringKaria
      @ColoringKaria  10 месяцев назад

      thin layers blend better and smoother and are easier to spin.

    Can I use a blending board to make my art bat, the background, for my needle felted paintings?

      i would do a test to see how cleanly you can pull it off the blending board

      @@ColoringKaria why is it more pleasure for you to use this sharpener or does it give a better point than the derwent?

    But...when you spin it, it won't look anything like you expect.

      That’s what samples are for. Also important to have a good understand of color theory. This looked great spun up.
