I really appreciate the way that you explained the AirPods 4. I’ve watched multiple videos and I find your video to be the best. You are so good at explaining all of the features and on top of that you showed multiple different types of people with different types of ear shapes trying it out. Amazing!😢 I purchased them and I’m picking them up tomorrow at Best Buy. Thank you!
Both are the same. The only difference is the ANC model has find my support and wireless charging. The cheaper model only has a case that charges via USB C.
Finally watching David Carnoy's take on the new Airpods 4 series (the non-ANC model and the one with ANC) for CNET. Great, great stuff whenever David gives out a review on any wireless device he's testing (and using)!
I refuse to buy a disposable product anymore, so if I cannot change the batteries, I just can’t justify buying them. However they are most likely going to be really amazing, because the AirPods 2 were amazing(for the first 22 months).
Awesome review! I have some questions regarding the airpods 4. Can you charge the charging case by its self without the ear buds being inside? Does the battery percentage appear in the battery widget even if the lid is closed? Does the airpods 4 case chime when its put into pairing mode like the airpods pro 2 case?
Thanks for watching! The case charges by itself with USB-C but I'm not getting a light for wireless charging when I put the case on a wireless charger by itself. The battery percentage does show up when in the battery widget when case is closed. And yes, the case chimes once when you put it into pairing mode by tapping three times on the case. This is for the AirPods with ANC, which has the speaker and wireless charging.
@@davidcarnoy961 thank you for answering my question. Just bought them today and they sound better than the airpods 3 and the ANC is really good for open ear headphones.
Apple AirPods 3 vs 4 I’m torn. I like the idea of anc, and h2 chip for improved call quality. Bluetooth 5.3 for improved range. I like the claims that there is more bass and better overall sound. I have the 3’s already. I like the fit, zero fall out issues. I like the MagSafe capability, I was satisfied with the sound quality due to Spatial Audio (until these 4’s came out and reviewers said the sound is better) I like the Find My Feature but the 4’s have the speakers on the case to assist with locating when lost. Which brings me to my next gripe with the 4’s. Who told Apple people wanted the case smaller. That’s just going to make it easier for someone like me to lose. I’ve already misplaced my AirPods 3 case a couple of times but found it quickly due to the beefier size and the accuracy of Find My. So based on all I’ve stated can someone please give me advice on why I should follow what my gut is telling me and stick with the 3’s. Battery Life has been great and no complaints on phone calls. Whether I’m listening 👂 to someone or speaking. People have always said they hear me crystal clear. There is only two caveats that have me considering taking the plunge to buy the 4’s and that is anc and speakers on the case.
