Finally! They added red stitching. When I test drove the DMax last year I had to make the difficult decision to walk away. The plain stitching was a deal breaker for me. Especially at school pick up and the tennis club car park, next to all the Rangers and Amaroks with their fancy stitching. It would have been a disaster.

That lane support system update is available for the MY21 as well, for free, on request at your dealership. Also, for off roading, the stock D-Max is very capable of off-roading. Yes, the bottom touches, but it's a ute. Go and mod it if you want to drive off-road regularly.
I have the 2022 LSU+ with rear draws and fibreglass canopy and tow a2.9t caravan I had to toughen the rear suspension which was done by Pedders which is the only mod done to the vehicle I have done about 38000 km much of it towing and Max does it all effortlessly with no problems at all its just great
Nice Ute. I test drove one back to back with a Hilux SR5 Rogue. The DMax felt like a cheaper build than the Hilux. Hilux on road dynamics have improved dramatically since the last one I drove about 5 years ago. Also the local Isuzu sales team were downright arrogant with respect to availability and pricing.
I recently got me a 2021 Dmax. You're right about the sales team being useless. It felt like they were trying their best not to give me the ute. Nearly changed my mind because of it.
9:16 I wonder if the heat from the exhaust would affect the spare tyre being so close, most spare wheels stay in the same position for long periods of time and that portion of the wheel might be weakened, perhaps fit a heat shield there

The grill design was changed in Thai markets this didn't change in australia so confusing , still like the 2020 dmax?????? I expected it to look different
I’m in SA and price for this Ute is almost the same as the outgoing ford ranger wiltrak, the knowledge that the “old” Wiltrak is better than this makes buying it a difficult proposition. The new wiltrak will definitely be a lot more expensive but the old 1 is still better than all other utes including the dmax, is it better than the hilux @least?

450 NM is good enough for a vehicle like this. Also Ford and Toyota always estimate their engine outputs instead of running it on a bloody dyno and actually testing power at the flywheel. Toyota has a tendency to over estimate

What a useless review (not on your part), but may as well have just renamed the 2021 review. Red stitching and a dedicated button, great value from that price increase.

Math this: Ford engine vs Isuzu engine. I am so disappointed, already. I own Isuzu's from 2009 till this day, including 2021 model, engines and transmission, zero failures. I stick with my D-Max, anytime. Only additional sound proofing needed (which I already do, Ford is better here, no doubt)...
Had an LSU on order since June... Was talking to the dealer yesterday, no solid timeline on mine, but likely March. He said the X Terrain models are the slowest to come to Australia. Only benefit of the delay was I got upgraded to the 2022 model with push button start, free bull bar, and tub liner. Hope yours comes in soon!
