If you're a true MIW and Manson fan, you wouldn't care how similar they sound, they are both great artists/ bands so love them or hate them. I'm loving them and loving this song :D
I think it's absolutely amazing that someone has FINALLY managed to do something that can even be compared to Marilyn Manson. I have never heard or seen anyone come close to accomplishing the sound, raw awesomeness, and intense truthful lyrics in the way that MM did. These guys are AMAZING and they deserve more credit than they receive because they're bringing back what metal truly is, and that's the rebellious lyrics along with an upbeat brutal tempo...well that's at least what I love :3
They sound like Motionless In White . This album is amazing . You can tell they worked their asses off to create this album . Their hard work payed off. They have outdone there selves !
They really brought in different elements and styles in this album. This song especially, combining old MIW with a Manson style, along with other sounds
Chris is always spot on when talking about religion in his songs. Whether if you’re christian, catholic, muslim, hell even a satanist lol, you name it; religion as a whole keeps people enslaved in a corrupt lifestyle. This song delivers that message perfectly
well actually, satanism is atheist but it's basically a "fuck you" to most major religions. satanism is about minding your own business, respecting others and yourself, giving to those in need, and taking responsibility for your own actions. but i agree with your point.
What terrifies me is that this really is what many organized religions, Christian or otherwise, are projecting. I am a very faithful person, but not what I would consider "religious," simply because I am ashamed to identify myself with any religion, and I think that's very sad. No religion follows through with what is meant to be the true mission of life in all of their books; acceptance, love, and understanding. Any "religious" people reading this as you post hateful comments about this amazing band need to understand how far most religions have strayed, and led astray followers, from their intended paths. It's time to wake up and see the truth, no matter how frightening it might be,
Grell Ricca Depends on what you mean by religious mentions, if you mean them spreading a religious message you are right, but they have several songs with lyrics against religion, and rightly so. This one, Immaculate Misconception, and (I think) Creatures.
potatoxkateri Once again Motionless In White is uncovering the truth about what the church and religion really is and what the people of the church really do for their so call “God”and his son “Jesus” (who probably don’t even exist at all) all the church wants is money and fuck little kids even though they say it’s a sin to fuck little kids and take money from others for personal use (sex slaves, drugs, alcohol, etc) priests all over the world are rapists and are getting thrown out of the church for raping kids, but not just kids, teens and adults as well, I personally knew someone who was a victim of this act of the church, they hung them selfs after the priest took advantage of them and abused and raped them, I grew up with parents who adopted me and taught me the “way” of the church and “God” but soon after I turned 13 I learned the truth about the church and what they were doing, I was horrified to the bone with what I had found out, I quickly stopped goin to church and stopped believing in “God” and everything I’ve ever learned from the church, “God” and the church is fake and always will be!!!!!
Well, The Whorror was an EP, and so was When Love Met Destruction. Even though they made a full length version, it was never released. And you also can't buy The Whorror on any major music distributors like iTunes. And they were also self released, so they're not sold in sores. They're just less known because they weren't on a major record label at the time.
Anything Tim Skold is involved in turns into GOLD. There's a reason I've been following his art for over 20 years, and I'm not surprised he's still a monster to this day! To enlighten some, the "sounds like Manson" statements need to be redirected to the MAN, the legend Skold. Although MM et al are great, Skold is their secret weapon. VERSATILE. GIFTED. SUPER-AWESOME.
1:08 "Blacked out; Ghost town, light it up and burn it down!..." I just started singing the lyrics to five finger death punch, wrecking ball for some reason because of this. Now, there is no link on YT for wrecking ball, FFDP, but at 0:16, literally the first sentences: "Sliced up, shot down, everybody bows down. Kill em all, let em fall; god'll sort em out!..." Nearly exactly the fucking same. This is why i love metal (or whatever genre you can staple to ffdp). 4 seconds of a song can remind you of another. Pop: "Hey, can i copy your homework?" "Yea sure, just change some things, k?" "Haha, fuck no."
Kelvin Colon I'm here, don't worry. This may be unrelated to this song, but sometimes when I'm home alone, I often go into the backyard, cover myself in soil, and pretend I'm a carrot. ;-p
i've already listened to them all. my favourites being Antichrist Superstar, Holy Wood, Smells Like Children, The Golden Age of Grotesque, Mechanical Animals, Eat Me Drink Me, and Portrait of an American Family.
True Story. I've learned the big difference, and I love it. Motionless in White has changed and i love it! If u dont like it stick with creatures and if u like infamous stick to infamous! Just love MIW
Dude! Thank you! I totally agree, it's been awhile since someone's been so strong that they tell honest lyrics rather than softening it so society will accept it.
One does not simply have a favorite MiW song.
Still holds true today!!
Eternally Yours tho
Yes yes, rather agreeable
Mine,
Thoughts and Prayers
Immaculate Misconception

I call him little Marilyn Manson
Funny thing is, I cannot stand Marilyn Manson. But, MIW is my favorite American Metal band.
Agreed. Both bands are cool and deserve respect.

Probably one of the best songs on this album tbh
@CrucifyTheSirens I can agree with you. By the way, I think Crucify The Sirens would sound like a great band name!
@@Spookythereaper3 I agree it would be a cool band name
More like THE best song on the album.
@@danahorton6662 I think the best song on the album and the best song ever is black damask
@@bredaross8289 Wondeful. I don't give a flying fuck about your stupid opinion.
Motionless In White is all that I've listened to in the past month. I'm seriously in love with their music.
Did anyone else hear "The Fight Song" in the main riff? Hahaha. Haven't heard this song for in 6-7 years, it's good to come back from time to time.
I always lose it at "fucking little kids makes you holier than thou?"
like omfg
I think that lyric is taking a jab at catholic priests who are commonly associated with raping kids.
One of the best MIW songs to date!!!!!
The chorus is so good.
I love how this entire album sounds, especially this song. I love how their sound has evolved because this is just awesome.
One of the most Inspirational and Meaningful bands ever
Touche
They sound like Motionless In White . This album is amazing . You can tell they worked their asses off to create this album . Their hard work payed off. They have outdone there selves !
I learned to play this song on bass last week and honestly, what a pleasure to be able to play this song.
This album sounds so much like a mixture of As I lay dying, slipknot, and manson. Fucking amazing.
Love this too much
This is their best song ever and it needed a music video.
Warped Tour this year was PERFECT with MIW
God this album is so amazing
motionless has almost any style you want, especially in this album, there amazing.
They really brought in different elements and styles in this album. This song especially, combining old MIW with a Manson style, along with other sounds
Perfect 3
This is trippy as hell... I love this.
This needs to be in the millions.
Loving these lyrics, so true.

Hate to break it to you, but PLENTY of religious books teach the opposite of "Acceptence, love, and understanding".
The Bible and Quran come to mind.
+potatoxkateri theres no religious mentions i've EVER heard from this band, dont you dare call me a MIW hater, though T_T

THIS WHOLE ALBUM IS AMAZING
My fucking favorite song off Infamous. They really proved themselves with this album. It's fucking brilliant.
I'm obsessed with this album!
MIW is climbing the ranks to stardom quite quick. Loving the new sounds Chris has brought to the table.
Honestly like this in a way. Not my favorite but I can listen to it. Love the album overall!
